[Chapter 14: Everyone: The Not So Happy Ending]

[Flashback]

“I can’t stay with you anymore...I have to leave for Gaia.” Tidus said. He held her as her head rested on his chest. “Yuna...I love you so much. Though, I cannot stay with you. I’m afraid...that I can’t date you anymore either.”

“Why?”

“I have to get married...I have an arranged marriage. The contract is done, the arrangement...I’m sorry.” She let a tear and let go. “I didn’t know of this rule...until I told me parents...that I love you.” He said.

“Tidus...I understand! I didn’t expect you and I to have a future...” She said. “I guess you should go now...” She said coldly. He hugged her one last time as he whispered into her ear. His last words to her were, ‘I love you.’ She hugged her knees and cried, ‘I hate you...Tidus.’

“I can’t believe that idiot did that! It makes me so mad just seeing Yuna so sad!! God!! Tidus...and Yunie were so perfect for each other.” Rikku said.

“Rikku, you can't always predict what happens in this world. Tidus is gone, and Yuna is trying real hard to cope with it...we’ll help along the way.” Aeris responded. They all looked at her in amusement.

“I feel sorry for the girl, this is her second time getting her poor heart ripped away!” Kairi yelled. “He’s a fool for leaving...”

[Yuna’s POV]
‘I...have to get over him!’ I thought. I got up and opened up my window. I looked at the stars and let out a cry. I can’t get over him. ’Why does everything go bad for me? Its all good today, but tomorrow it’ll all turn out a dream.’

No matter how hard I try to get over you, I’ll know deep inside that you still love me...and I do too.

[Tidus’s POV]

Whistling away all my dreams and hopes of never becoming a prince had only seemed to make this worse such as this case. Mother and father had betrayed me, I cant bear to leave Yuna. Everyone calls me a fool...but really they do not understand what it means to be a prince. It’s hard...I’m only 17. People seem to forget that...watching Yuna cry that day, it hurt...so badly. It was the most worse feeling I had ever felt even when I got shot.

I’ll remember the times we had...this is good-bye but not farewell.
