Chapter One: The Wedding

Twenty six year old Melora Turner was wearing a lavender silk wedding gown and sat by Melora Flynn's grave.

"I'm getting married to your nephew, Patrick today. I'm very excited. My name will be Melora Flynn, now. I hope you won't mind," she said, laying a handful of violets tied with a purple ribbon on the grave.

Melora Turner was soon going to be Melora Flynn. She's marrying Patrick Flynn. Jack couldn't wait to go to Grover's Corners. On the way to the church, Jack stopped by the cemetery to see Melora Flynn's grave.

Melora Turner had left for the church when Jack arrived at Melora Senior's grave. Jack sat down in front of the grave, and remembered the first time he had met Melora Flynn.

Jack opened his eyes and saw a woman staring at him.

My name is Melora Flynn," she said with an Irish accent, "you're Jack Sparrow, aren't you?"

Finding speech too challenging, he nodded.

Tears ran down Jack's face as he said, "I miss you so much, Melora. I wish you were here and I wish that I was able to love you, but I can't, because you're dead!"

Wiping the tears from his eyes, Jack continued on his way to the church.

At the only church in Grover's Corners, a mysterious woman wrapped in a dark red cloak stood at the back during the wedding. She had long gently curled dark brown hair and sky blue eyes. Her skin wasn't as dark as Jack's, but it was lightly tanned from the time she spent out in the Caribbean sun.

A secondMelora Flynn, how very interesting, she thought, leaving before anyone noticed her presence. She had a lot of work to do before the day ended.

After the wedding ceremony, the guests went to Bonnie William's house for a party. Bonnie was Patrick's aunt. Bonnie's husband, David-Michael, is a baker, so he catered. They have a ten year old daughter named Cassandra.

"You wouldn't have any rum, would you, lass?" asked Jack.

"My sister never liked strong drink," sniffed Bonnie, "David bought a keg."

"Thank you very much," replied Jack.

"Don't drink it all," she called.

The party got over late. Jack was staying the night with Bernie and Arabella, Patrick's parents. Melora's parents, Will, and Elizabeth, were staying with David-Michael and Bonnie. Cassandra was staying at a friend's house.

A/N: Well, how was it? More will come soon. This story has eighteen chapters, if you count both endings. I'm not trying to show disrespect for the plot, or the characters, but I can't decide which ending to use, because they're both really good, in my opinion, so I'm putting them both up. Review!

Lykosdracos: Yeah, we talked about that part already. That's just Jack for you, right? Isn't she? Thanks. Jack knows what it means, though. You better gulp.
