*I've Given My Heart*

James' POV

I've given my heart to a demon
Come straight from the fiery pits.
Her temper is not to be challenged,
Her status to be reckoned with.
I've given my heart to a lioness
Whose pride overtakes her own heart.
Her strength is matched by no other,
Her power is tearing her apart.
I've given my heart to a child,
A scared and lonely little one.
Whose eyes have not seen love,
Whose journey has only begun.
I've given my heart to a girl
Who has never known love's call.
Maybe, just maybe, this demon, this lioness
Isn't so bad after all.

Jessie's POV

I've given my heart to a weakling
Who cannot defend his own place.
He always just lets me abuse him
When I strike his beautiful face.
I've given my heart to a whiner.
Complaining is all he can do.
He can't do a job without crying,
And saying why don't I help too?
I've given my heart to a poet.
Artistic can hardly describe...
Somewhere in the depths of his soul,
I know he has something to hide.
I've given my heart to a sweet man.
Who knows what will now be in store?
Maybe, just maybe, this weakling, this whiner
Is just what I've been looking for.
