He's intrepid. He's fearless in every attribute of a cat and as a cat if we ever knew this to be so.

...He's valiant and brave and presently sleeping a sleep of nightmares and tears. His sorrow for what has happened is what the other cats see it as pathetic and feeble. But why can they not think into it more? Realize that what he had done, and what will do forever on is nothing short of remarkable?

...He took on Macavity, he didn't give up, and he stuck it out after putting the lives of others miles before his own and now sleeps a troubled sleep because of it. Amazing.

...No other cat would have ever been this moral. Mistoffelees is suffering for suffering.

...Though he is masking his emotions now, before the tribe and even before himself, we know that he is not at all content with himself. He does not look us in the eyes when the three of us speak.

...Even about common things, the hour, the smell of the air, the top mouse catch of the day and why.

...We cannot blame him, no one can.

...In time, we believe the wounds will heal. The dark scars will be a burden under his fur for a lifetime, and countless more, but he will carry on.

...He's more than a portrait of consequence to the tribe; he's a symbol of everything every one cat can only hope to be.

He is a true Jellicle cat.
