It's two in the morning, and Edgar's sure he's hallucinating.

"Edgar."

"Scriabin?"

"Shh, you're sleeping."

Smooth hands brush back short, black bangs.

"Why...?"

"Because, my dear, I care about you."

Soft mouth, warm tongue. Light, trailing touches. It's as if he's not quite there.

Scriabin's a pianist, and his deft fingers play -- staccato, legato -- and quickly undo Edgar. Quiet whispers lull him back to unconsciousness.

"You don't want Nny, you want me. You don't need Nny, you need me. You don't love Nny, you love me."

Edgar wakes up to find sweat on his forehead and semen on his sheets.
