Giggling, you run your hand over her bare stomach, fingers lightly tracing around her bellybutton before caressing her sides. It's a fast song, but you move slowly as everything passes in a blur. The loud music shakes the floor, the leader singer's voice white noise, as the look in the girl's eyes drowns out the nagging thoughts flitting thoughts your mind.

Taking her hand in yours, you both pump your arms in the air, screaming in happiness. She wraps her arm around her waist, lightly toying with the hot pink ribbons you braded into your long hair. She giggles, and tugs on one, causing it to come loose, and puts it on the top of her head, grinning.

Her arm goes back around you, pulling your body closer to yours, and you drop your head back, release her hand, and wrap it around her shoulders, kissing the base of her neck.

And at least in this moment, you're a regular kid. Not the Key, and not the Slayer's sister. You're just a teenager out at a concert with your girlfriend, even though Buffy said no.

Because with Kit? You're just you.
