Okay so, for our final project in Physics, we had to write a sonnet that involved the physics of something. Naturally I picked the physics of the Lord of the Rings. This is a real sonnet written in iambic pentameter and all that fun stuff.
This is how it came out.

The Physics of the Lord of the Rings
Lord of the Rings is an awesome trilogy
Adventure and fantasy do abound
But let us examine things physically
Science must be found by the pound
Gandalf falls from a tall and dark tower
Oh look, an object falling vertically
The Doppler Effect has some great power
As Boromir blows his horn informationally
Legolas stands a top the massive Deeping Wall
Projectile Motion is in archery
Sam and Frodo experience Newton's First Law
When they find some rocks rather slippery
A book of lovely fantastic dreamery
Is really full of scientific variety.
