Cyber Dolls chapter 1: Idea
It's been 2 months since Seto, Yugi and Noah came back from the Virtual world and defeated the Gozblast virus that wrecked havoc through the Internet. Mokuba and Noah have pretty much forgotten about it, but not everyone has left the memory alone. With each passing moment, Seto has nothing on his mind except Pernia, his anti-virus program that saved Noah and the rest of them from the virus. Seto can't and won't let the memory pass.
Kaiba mansion Basement
Mokuba is downstairs working on Noah's body frame, repairing what missed when she brought him back to life after almost being completely infected.
"Just one more." Mokuba says to himself, tightening the new paneling on the back of Noah's neck. He finally gets it tightened and lays him up on the dolly he's strapped to.
"Ok all done." Mokuba says smiling and turning his brother back on. "Feel any better?"
"I do feel a bit different." Noah admits as Mokuba unstraps him from the dolly. "What did you do to me?"
"I changed some padding on your neck." Mokuba says coming to the front of him. "The other one got damaged when we were in the virtual world." "Well thanks for fixing it." Noah thanks Mokuba seeing him going over to the computer. "He must have caused some damage."
"More then you think." Mokuba says to him, not taking his eyes off the screen. "Well, your main circuits were successful at repairing and I installed the new version virus protection on you so you, so if you get another attack, this time, it won't go as far as the other one did."
Noah steps off the dolly and stretches his cyborg limbs.
"I thought I would never survive that attack to be here today." Noah speaks stretching his arms.
"Well thank god you did." Mokuba says turning to him. "It would have taken a lot longer to bring you back this time, unlike the first time."
"So how's Seto doing?" Noah asks in concern.
"I don't know." Mokuba speaks now beginning to worry about his older brother." Ever since we came back from the virtual world, I haven't seen much of him. He would be up in his office a lot and when he goes to work, he wouldn't call like he use to."
"You don't think being there affected him any do you?" Noah asks.
"Not sure, but I do know one thing, He can't stop thinking about ." Mokuba says putting on a smile.
"And how do you know that?" Noah asks in curiosity.
"Well let's see." Mokuba says reaching in his smock pocket and pulling out a mini tape recorder.
"And you're going to do what with that?" Noah asks looking at it.
Mokuba says nothing and presses play.
::::Pernia, just another kiss.:::::: The recording plays. Mokuba then presses stop.
"That was while he was asleep." Mokuba grins putting the tape recorder away. "Those are his only thoughts now a days."
"Poor guy." Noah says turning his gaze to the ground.
"Well if it's one thing about Seto that I know well is, when he has one thought, he sticks with it." Mokuba says turning away from Noah's gaze.
::::I wonder what he's up to about now.:::::: Mokuba says to himself.
Upstairs office
Seto sits at his desk, with his chair facing the window and his mind in another place. He sits quietly, admiring the scenery below him while his mind continues focusing on his main thought. Seto sighs and turns around to his computer, looking over the task bar and eyeing his virus scan with the white letters K.C. standing out. Just staring at the program, memories begin flooding into his mind.
Memory flashback
"I guess you got more then you bargained for when you created this program." speaks up.
"Yeah I guess I did." Seto speaks up, continuing to stare in her gaze.
End of Memory
"I sure did." Seto finally speaks. With his spoken words, he then signs on to the internet and goes heads straight to his website where his virus scan updates are held in read only mode, but he has a password to get passed it.
"I'll look up the files and see if I can get her to come back up." Seto says typing in his password and begins searching.
On Domino Ave
In a large white house with a metal fence and a rose garden in front, lives a girl by the name of Arora, whom also witnessed the virtual world battle on the internet broadcasted by the Kaiba Corporation. Upstairs in her room, surfing the net, she has found nothing interesting to do, except play blackjack.
"I wish I had some place interesting to go on here, other then play this game." Arora speaks playing blackjack online. "And yet I win again for the millionth time."
Arora sighs, being bored out of her mind with nothing interesting to do on the internet. Being an experienced hacker, she would think of places to go and something to get into, but at this time, nothing was coming to her.
"I wonder how Yami, Mokuba and Noah are doing since they came back from the virtual world." Arora speaks sitting up from slouching in her chair. "Especially Yami."
A sudden idea strikes in her mind and she then puts the cursor on the address box of the internet explorer. Then she types the Kaiba Corporation's web page in and begins looking around.
"Let's see what that Kaiba loser updated today." Arora says rolling her eyes. Looking over the web page, she spots a post from the current date in the site's memo's. She begins reading Seto's personal post.
"2 months has passed and I haven't forgotten what my Anti-Virus program did for me and my brother's, and THAT pharaoh too." Arora reads out loud and makes a face. "What he means THAT pharaoh too? That pharaoh happens to be the most important part of my life, despite what my father has to say about him."
Flashback
Yami has just brought Arora home from their date.
"Thanks for tonight." Arora smiles to Yami, who returns the warm smile. "I had a lot of fun."
"Hey no need to thank me, this is what a boyfriend is suppose to do for his girlfriend." Yami speaks gently putting an arm around her and pulling her close to him.
"Any plans for our next date?" Arora speaks, her voice going into a whisper.
"Any place you like." Yami whispers leaning down and is seconds away from placing a kiss on her lips, when the sound of a door swinging open, interrupts him.
"What have I told you about that boy?" Arora's father yells, breaking the silence.
"He's not what you think he is." Arora argues back.
"I thought I told you to stay away from my daughter." Her father yells to Yami.
"Leave him alone dad, you have no idea what he's like. He's not like the others you know." Arora fusses back, standing in front of Yami. "He's different."
"They only make you think that and the next thing you know I'm a grandfather." Her father continues fussing, grabbing Arora's arm and pulling her away from Yami and into the house.
End of Flashback
Arora's anger begins building, just thinking about that again.
"Luckily for me, I got to see him before I went to bed. My father still doesn't know I snuck him in my window." Arora says smirking. "And to make it double, he doesn't even know about what happened to make me fall asleep so quickly."
Arora takes her mind away from the past and puts it back in the present, and continues reading the posts Seto made. While continuing to read, she happens to comes across the post he made about his dream.
"Last night I had a dream about Pernia. It seemed so real, so real in fact, I wish it were reality." Arora reads out loud and continues. "What happened was I took her to the best place in town and she was smiling at me and we were laughing. After the date, well let's just say desert came early."
Arora wrinkles her nose at the last part of the post.
"Ok TMI." Arora says in a sarcastic tone, rolling her eyes. Taking a look at the list again, she comes across the list of visitors, members and guests who are all visiting the forum. She spots Seto's name on the under the member's list with a smiley face in yellow, indicating he's online.
"He must be looking for Pernia to pop up no doubt." Arora says rolling her eyes again. "When is he going to understand, she's not coming back?"
Arora shakes her head and is about to leave the site when an idea hits her.
"Or is she?" Arora says, raising her right eyebrow. "I think I just found my project to keep me busy for quite a while."
Arora grins and puts her hacker skills to work. Once inside the site's mainframe, she finds 's files and begins reading over them.
"Interesting." Arora speaks continuing to look over the files. "Well as much as I don't really like Seto, I guess I can do a little something for him."
Arora gets up from her desk and grabs her note book. Going back over to the desk, she begins writing down Pernia's information and structure from what she has brought up on the screen. After writing down what she needs to know, she the grabs a CD-ROM from next to her tower and puts it in the CD- ROM drive.
"Even though he won't know it was me who is doing this, he better appreciate every bit of this." Arora says now downloading Pernia's program and files to the CD-ROM and saving it as a data CD. After the transfer is complete, she takes the disk out and places it on the top of the tower.
"Ok now to put my plans together." Arora says looking over her notes. She writes a few more things down and smiles to herself. She then signs offline and turns the computer off. Heading over to her bed, she begins thinking of how to make Pernia real, while looking over her notes.
"Time to make a dream, reality." Arora grins.
A/N: Ok end of chapter 1 to my sequel. If anyone thought of this idea first, sorry I beat you to the punch. I apologize for the boringness, promises to get better later on. The usual disclaimer goes as applies with flames. Review as always and if anything confused you, or I mis-explained something, let me know and consider it changed.
A/N 2: I started back at the University so updates may be slow depending on my time. Chapter 2 will be out my next moment I get.
Review and Thanks.
