While searching through the ancient records found amidst the ruins of the defeated witch’s castle, I found many old manuscripts which contained many recorded prophecies about the witch’s defeat. No doubt the white witch wished to discover as much as could be about it in order to prevent it if possible. A portion of this was already commonly known among Narnians, but the rest, along with the name of the prophet had been lost. I here have recorded the longer version as it was written on the manuscript, in order to preserve it.          –Tumnus the Faun, Year three after the Witch’s defeat

The Missing Prophecy

Foretold by the Dryad Birch Silverbark

Rediscovered by Tumnus the Faun

When Adam’s flesh and Adam’s bone

Sits at Cair Paravel in throne

The evil time will be over and done

And once again will come the Emperor’s son

His coming will bring incredible joy

The witch’s wand will be defeated by a boy

Her word will be broken her magic spent

The nymphs and naiads will know what the prophecies meant

Deep magic from the dawn of time

Will be used against the rhyme

Deeper, older magic will also be used

And will finally defeat the ruse

Note: I own nothing of C.S. Lewis’ wonderful world, but everything other than the first three lines of the poem is of my imagination. This is my first try at any fanfic on the Narnia section, and first poem posted ever on the website, I appreciate any feedback you can offer.
