Xellos grimaced as he collapsed to his bed, sinking heavily into the soft material. A long sigh escaped him as he felt his body depress, releasing all the tensions of the past day. Did that author really had to go that far? Did he really have to baby site all five dark lord toddlers? And, worse yet, Zelas was so humiliated by being forced into that role that she will be in a bad mood for a very long time.

Xellos didn't move for a long, long time, feeling his sore and tired body ach and tingle. A soft clicking sound alerted his attention up, so he slowly drugged his head and saw Filia mope into the room. He frowned and sat at with a moan.

"Xellos, another fic awaits you. You need to get up and work…" Filia's voice was just plain depressed, and there were bags under her eyes.

Whenever an author or authoress used a character in a fanfic, that character feels every emotion that the author(ess) intended them to. Right now, that daft Mistress DragonFlame authoress was using her in a very depressing fanfic in which Filia witnesses the world being destroyed but then wakes up before Darkstar with the other slayers. In it, she is very mature and very sad.

"What do they want me to do now?" he groaned as his body protested any and all movement.

"This one is relatively easy." She said in a dead voice. "'Romance by the Heartless.' All you have to do is teleport a few times, write in a book, go to a party and then have a heart to heart-area with me." She sighs heavily. She sets a scroll down on the bed before haunting off, out of the room.

Xellos grimaced again. At least it wasn't another blind fic. He'd turned blind, he cared for Filia blind, he cared for Zelgadis blind… you name it he's done it. He grimaced again as he recalled, to his horror, a Dynast yaoi he had to partake in once. It even had a sequel. He shuttered before forcing his worn body to grasp the scroll and begin to read his part.

This was his life now. Just like everyone in any series once it completes. The actors, or voice actors in the cartoon/anime case, leave to do other things while the make believe characters are left to the random, and sometimes extremely stupid, authors of the world, each bringing them to do things that were not intended to happen in what is called fan fictions. He did not love Filia, or Lina, or Amelia, nor Zelgadis and he sure as hell did not love Dynast. But, he had to do it. Whatever fic he was in, he would feel what they told him, he would do what they told him, he would remember what they choose him to remember. His lips quirked up in a semi amused smile as he read this fic's planning. Ah, so that heartless slave driver Mistress DragonFlame was making a sequel to 'Marihol', in which he had a fun time pretending to be high. Too bad this one was serious.

He sighed and read his part. "Lets get this over with…."

MDF: (wink) A darker, depressing look at how they feel about a fan fiction. It took me, and I am not kidding, 5 minutes to write. O.o;

Xellos: Of course, if what happened there was what we do normally, it would not be true since it is a fan fiction itself.

Filia: I agree… I think…

MDF: quite you two, or I'll make you have a fanfic in which both of you face your worst nightmares! (Ominous thunder)

Filia: … you already have one with me seeing my worst nightmare. And it isn't my worst nightmare because I do not like Xellos and it is-hmhmsmnh!

MDF: (eye twitch)(hand over Filia's mouth) You aren't supposed to say that!

Haku: Please, readers, leave while you can. And quickly, before you get dragged down with us!

MDF: Haku… (Twitch)

Haku: (gulp)

SesshoMaru: …(walks over to an electric box)(destroys it)
