"I'm surprised you volunteered for this Summers: we don't see that many women in this department." Captain Bryant sat behind his desk, "But you come highly recommended, and this is an unusual job that our regular people won't touch."

"I've lead an unusual life." Dawn shrugged, "You got the file?"

"Yeah, here." Bryant passed over a manila folder, "One skin-job, custom NEXUS-6 named Rachael. She's protected by a former cop named Richard Deckard."

"Deckard?" Dawn raised an eyebrow, "I heard he quite?"

"It's a long story." Bryant sat back, "Think you can do it?"

"It's not a problem." Dawn put the file down, "Consider them retired."
