Ok, i decided to write this because i really like the song Everybody’s Fool. It’s mainly about Ichigo and Masaya, but if you ever heard Everybody’s Fool, you will know this is not a Masaya/Ichigo romance fic. Why, because i support Ichigo/Ryou.

Ichigo was in tears as she ran down the street. Cars were honking at her to pay more attention, seeing as she had almost run into 3 cars already. She just couldn’t believe what she saw......

15 minutes ago.......

Ichigo was happily walking down the sidewalk that led to the park. She was going to see Masaya, who at the moment was her most favorite person in the world, and she hoped the person she would spend her life with. He was perfect in every way, or so she thought.

Just what we all need

More lies about a world......

But as Ichigo approached the bench, she saw the horror of her boyfriend kissing another girl.....

Never was and never will be

Have you no shame don’t you see me

You know you’ve got everybody fooled....

Ichigo couldn’t believe it. The girl he was kissing was her own friend, Mint. Once Mint saw her, she swiftly stood up and walked away. Her steps seemed like she was walking in slow motion as she walked by Ichigo and whispered “I’m sorry.”

Look her she comes now

Bow down and stare in wonder

Oh how we love you

No flaws when your pretending

“Ichigo,” spoke Masaya, but she didn’t want to hear it. She knew what was coming, she had seen it all. And then, she ran, ran as fast as her legs would carry her.

But now i know she never was and never will be

You don’t know how you betrayed me

And somehow you’ve got everybody fooled

She knew the true Masaya now, the Masaya that never loved her, only used her to get to her friend. And Mint, she had betrayed her to. She never knew any of this was happening......

Without the mask, where will you hide?

Can’t find yourself, lost in your mind?

That was 15 minutes ago. Her feet had taken her to Cafe Mew Mew. She ran to Ryou’s room and knocked on his door, trying to cover her sobs. He wasn’t there, but the door was open. Her mind told her to wait, but she needed something to cry into. So she jumped on Ryou’s bed and began to cry her eyes out again. She tried screaming into his pillow, but it wasn’t working. Just then, Ryou entered and saw Ichigo crying into his pillow. He went over and sat on his bed. Ichigo noticed and tried as hard as she could to wipe away her tears. When she sat up, Ryou embraced her, and she began to cry again. He could softly hear her words, “It’s not fair; he said he loved me!! That traitor, i hate him!!”

And i don’t love you anymore

Ryou tried some reassuring words like, “It’s ok, I’m hear; you can tell me everything.” With every word Ichigo spoke about how Masaya hurt her, his anger toward Masaya grew. He never really liked Masaya, there was always this feeling, and it had happened. “Now no one loves me, i just want to die!!” Ichigo screamed. Now Ryou was a little ticked off. “That’s not true,” he yelled at her. “I love you!!” He couldn’t believe the words that came out of his mouth. It was a well kept secret that only he knew. Ichigo was taken aback and processed the words slowly. “You mean..... You love me that way?” She said. Ryou just stood up and walked away, but before he could get anywhere, she grabbed him by the wrist. “Ryou, please answer me.....” she said. There was a long pause before anyone spoke. “Yes Ichigo, i love you...... ever since the day i saw you, there was something about you, and i just thought of the answer right now. I love you, Ichigo, and even if you don’t love me back, i understand....” Ryou said slowly. Ichigo smiled and slowly, she went up to him. There faces got closer and closer. She decided to see if she loved him in his kiss. As she got closer and closer, her eyes closed and her lips slowly touched his. Ryou was taken by surprise, but he closed his eyes as well and deepened the kiss. When it was all over, the spark for Ryou in Ichigo’s heart burst into a fire and then into a blaze. She did love him; it just took her awhile to notice.........

Two Days Later.......

Ichigo stood at the bench were she met Masaya two days ago. She held back the tears that wanted to fall. Masaya slowly approached Ichigo. “Look, about what you saw, I’m sorry you had to see it. I wanted to tell you that..... i don’t love you the way i used to....” said Masaya. “And neither do i” said Ichigo, who slowly gathered all her courage and said “I love Ryou.....” Masaya smiled and said “I understand, we can be friends, can’t we?” He offered a handshake, but she refused. “I’m sorry, but i can’t, it’s not because Ryou told me, it’s my own decision... after what i saw.... well i lost all faith in you.... i trusted you...... i liked the Masaya who was nice, caring, and wouldn’t do that, and i can see that the old Masaya that i fell in love with and i was friends with is gone....goodbye.” she turned away and walked casually down the sidewalk.
