Author of 8 Stories |
This is the first installment of There’s No Replacing the Original. I know I should be working on my other fictions, but I need to blow some steam. School has been hell and so far my head’s about to explode from my Chinese lessons. Not to mention the enormous project my Civics teacher is making me do.
Well anyway, this is… shall I say a compilation of Mary Sue Bashing stories. I’ll write occasionally when too much oc’s turn into Mary Sues.
As you can say I hate Mary Sues, and I enjoy bashing them. This is for entertainment purposes only and if you enjoy reading Mary Sues stories, I suggest you press the BACK button right now.
This is meant to be offensive to some oc writers, well at least those who make the oc’s too perfect to be natural. People, nobody and I mean nobody is that perfect! Even Dumbledore! So I suggest that you people out there who turn perfectly good oc’s to Mary Sues turn your backs at this story now.
I myself enjoy oc’s, well some at least, but as you read this fic. The story is not circled around Vega –read the story if you want to find out- but he merely helps the main characters.
I’ll make it short and simple. You categorize it, you write about it, not use it as an extra, those stories belongs to Winter
Far in the land of Nirvana, four borders reside. All is peaceful in three, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. Another story is told in Slytherin.
A competition is being held to choose Prince Draco’s wife-to-be. Women –and some men- from all over the kingdom gathered to try out their… how should I say this? Luck, and see who will have the chance for the Prince’s “bride”.
From all the festivities, a lone figure stood high and proud. She was Yvonne Winter. Yvonne was a beautiful young girl at the age of 16, old enough to marry, some might say. She has long, dark, brown hair, and enchanting violet eyes,-Mary Sues have to be beautiful- but her past was not as perfect as people thought it was. Yvonne was abandoned as a child and was brought to an abusive orphanage. She was physically and emotionally beaten, until she decided to change. She ran away from the orphanage and trained herself night and day and grew into a beautiful young lady as people see her now. On the outside she looked perfect but inside her heart was clenched tightly with strong metal chains.
Her best friend and secret love was the prince. They met as children but were separated by Draco’s evil father, Lucius –yay!-. Now that Yvonne found out about the competition, she was determined as hell to win and reunite with her “true love”, as she calls it.
Yvonne joined the many people in front of the castle gates. The messenger, Vega came out of the gates. “Hear ye, hear ye,” he began, “the competition has been officially cancelled. Now I suggest you leave.”
There were cries of outrage from the people,
“That’s not fair!” one of them cried.
“I was supposed to marry the prince!” another one said.
Vega just sighed. “You poor stupid people,” he said to the crowd. “The prince is already in love. King Lucius just declared their engagement official. Now I ask you once again, please leave the castle grounds.”
The poor stupid people refused to leave.
“I warned you.” Vega snapped her fingers and little elf-like creatures appeared. The house-elves began to use their magic to drive everybody from the royal grounds. Everybody was quickly led away except for one. Yvonne hid in one of the giant vases and waited until all the commotion was over. After waiting for a short while, making sure Vega and the house-elves were gone, she maneuvered her way in the castle and to Draco’s room quite easily. She quietly opened the door, bent on surprising her beloved but was quickly surprised herself.
A beautiful petite creature was buried underneath the covers, cuddled in Draco’s well-developed arms.
Yvonne saw red.
“You!” the enraged girl shrieked. “You’re the reason the competition was cancelled! You took my Draco away!”
Harry, as the creature was called, just stared at Yvonne with a confused expression on his face. “Who are you?” he asked confusedly.
Yvonne drew herself up proudly; “I am Yvonne Winter, Leader of the Naturers –made that up-, and the long lost Princess of Ravenclaw.” she told the still confused Harry and now irritated Draco.
She then spotted Draco and her violet eyes instantly softened, “Oh Draco, leave this wretch,” she spat at Harry, “come with me and we’ll live happily ever af-”
“Wait a minute…” Draco interrupted, “who are you, really?
“Oh, my love, have you forgotten me? We met when we were little. You were my best friend then. Slowly the friendship I felt grew and turn into love.” Yvonne rambled. “How could you have forgotten me? I, Leader of the Naturers and Princess of Ravenclaw-”
“I thought,” Harry interrupted, “that Hermione Granger was Princess of Ravenclaw.”
“She is Harry,” Draco assured, “she won’t lie to you. Although, this one, I’m not so sure.” He glared pointedly at Yvonne. “I, for one have never seen you in my entire life.” he added.
“No!” Yvonne screamed, “I know that you still remember me deep in your heart!”
“I told you, I have never seen you before,” Draco sneered at Yvonne, “and as for your story about our so-called friendship. I didn’t make a single friend until I met Blaise and that was only a year ago.”
“Then who’s she?” Harry asked, pointing at Yvonne.
“Don’t worry about her Harry,” Draco told Harry softly, “she won’t bother us anymore.”
“What?” the girl shrieked.
“Leave now!” Draco ordered, with an icy glare.
“No!” Yvonne replied stubbornly, “I am Yvonne Winter and I will not be trea-!”
She never finished.
Draco had knocked her unconscious with a swift knock on the head.
“Why don’t you call Vega?” Draco suggested to Harry, “She can get rid of this… this thing.”
Harry nodded obediently and called for their assistant.
“Sirs?” he bowed politely.
Draco merely pointed to the unconscious Yvonne on the floor. Nodding, Vega dragged the nimrod away from the palace.
They waited until they heard the castle gates close until both Draco and Harry went back to bed, Draco with his arms wrapped around Harry.
When will they ever learn? There’s no replacing the original, especially Harry Potter.
More to come…
As you can see, like I wrote above. My story is not revolved around my oc, Vega. She merely helped the story plot in a form as a messenger, telling the people about the cancelled competition. She is not really one of the main characters but as you read the assistant of one.
Now I hope you people review, I will of course expect flames from some offended people but will assure they will be merely shrugged of as of nothing.
Logging off…
