Chapter One:Getting The Sword of The Father

I know there are a couple other stories like this but this is my spin on it.

Not the even the great Sesshoumaru could pull it out nor his younger half-breed brother, Inuyasha. It took a mere human girl named Kagome to withdraw the majesty sword called Tetsusaiga. She had grabbed for it absented mildly running to stop Sesshoumaru from killing his brother. He had stopped to stare at the human girl that had freed his father's sword.

"Inuyasha!" screamed Kagome.

She stopped running to stare at the sword. Sesshoumaru wondered how the girl had done it. She turned to look at the brothers for an answer. They were shocked to see the weak girl holding the sword.

"Sorry... I pulled it out," said Kagome.

Kagome went backed to looking at the sword. She was holding it in her hands looking from the handle to the tip wondering what to do next. When Sesshoumaru ran to see how the girl had done it.

"Just who are you? Why were you able to draw out the sword?" asked Sesshoumaru.

"Sesshoumaru! Leave her alone! She has nothing to do with you!" yelled Inuyasha.

"Sesshoumaru! Don't come near me or I'll kill you!" warned Kagome.

"Neither you nor I could draw out the Tetsusaiga. Yet she had no trouble against the spell. You expect me to let her go?" asked Sesshoumaru.

"I don't know why the spell had no effect on her! She is only a human girl! Kagome! Hand over Tetsusaiga to Sesshoumaru!" ordered Inuyasha.

"No! He couldn't pull out the sword! That means he's not the rightful owner! I WILL NOT give it to him!" screamed Kagome.

"Fool! A mortal girl has nothing to do with this! Stop interfering!" yelled Inuyasha.

"Stop interfering, you say?!" wondered Kagome.

"Inuyasha, you seem to be very interested in the actions of a human. Why protect her? Why let her go? Why love her? I certainly did not inherit from our father the feelings of compassion towards humans that you have. It was this feeling for a mortal woman, your mother this weakness of the heart that caused our father to end up here like this, dead. Tainted blood courses through your body! Is it this blood that endears you to humans? Well, I don't pay any heed to such infinitely vulgar beings," said Sesshoumaru. He looked back on Kagome using his poison claw attack against her.

Kagome was surrounded by poisoned air, fighting to breath when a strange light shoot from the sword. Neither of the brothers could see what was happening to the girl. In a grey cloud mix with black poison and yellow light Kagome's body was transforming. She screamed from the pain of her body changing with the sword still in her white of her eyes changed to blood red. Her face was in between that of a human's and a demon dog. A light shoot from the cloud to the top of the grave back down again to where Kagome appeared.

"What is this strange thing from the sword?" asked Sesshoumaru.

A voice from the mist answered, "Its new owner." The cloud swirled around and disappeared to show Kagome.

"Kagome is that you?" questioned Inuyasha.

"Yes, the sword choose me and gave me the power of your father," answered Kagome.

"That is impossible! No mortal can of the power of my father!" yelled Sesshoumaru.

"Who said I was mortal now?" wondered Kagome.

Sesshoumaru went attack Kagome but she ran to catch him in midair with her new clawed hand. She was choking him and tosses the demon up on the side of the wall.

"Do you dare challenge the will of your father? I know why you went to looking for this sword because your power is nothing compare to his," informed Kagome.

"He is nothing next to my father's power!" shouted Inuyasha.

"You say your father died because he had compassion for humans but you are wrong it was his greatest strength. He gave me his power to show you the way because he wants you to grow Sesshoumaru," said Kagome.

She let him from her grip. He looked up to the girl that was floating above him. Kagome tossed the sword to Inuyasha for it was his father's gift to him.

"What will we do now, boys?" asked Kagome.

"I will kill you both," whispered Sesshoumaru.

Kagome slapped him in the face for her new ears picked up what he said. Jaken was running in circles for what was happening to his master.

"You are never to say that again, understand?" questioned Kagome.

Sesshoumaru's pride had been ripped apart by looking for power because now he was second to Kagome. She was by right of the dog demons his leader. Inuyasha was playing around with his new sword and went to threat his older brother but Kagome said sit. He falls hard to the ground. The trio of dog demons was lead out of the bones by Kagome with a frog and a flea following behind. She had grabbed them behind their heads.
