Well, while in Florida I got an idea for a new fic. I didn't think Tinkerbell got enough attention, so I decided to give her the attention she deserves. Here's a fic totally and completely about Tink and her life.

Song of the moment: Take Me or Leave Me-RENT

Quote of the moment: "Each of us needs a quest, and a person without one is lost to himself."

Tinkerbell fluttered around Peter's head, grinning as they flew around Neverland. The new Lost Boys had decided that it would be a funny trick if they hid from Peter and made him look for them all day. They had managed to find three of the Lost Boys, but there were still three missing. Then she caught sight of a being running through the woods below them. Tink smiled excitedly and turned to Peter.

"I see Snickers," she told him. Peter looked down, and when he saw the boy's head, he turned into a dive and grabbed Snickers with one arm. Snickers let out a yelp as he was pulled into the air. They soon found the last two boys, Beanie and Tumbler, and they headed home. Once inside, they started eating dinner. They were halfway through dinner when a little light fluttered into the room and began flying around Peter's head.

"Whoa!" Peter exclaimed.

"'Scuse me, pardon me," the little fairy squeaked. Then she flew over and landed on the table in front of Tink. "His Royal Highness, King Mevril of the Streela Court summons Tinkerbell to the capital."

"And what does The King want with me?" Tink asked.

"I was just instructed to get Tinkerbell from Peter Pan's Home Underground and tell her that The King of the Streela Court wants her at the capital. Get your things and I will take you to The King."

Tink bit her lip and gave Peter a look of sorrow. "I-I-I... I'm sorry, Peter, but I must go."

Peter nodded. "If you must."

She was already packing her bag quickly. She didn't own many things, so it only took a few minutes for her to pack a bag. Then she bid the boys farewell and flew out of The Hideout after the fairy that had come to get her.

"My name is Malina," said the fairy. "I'm going to be your guardian, your helper, until you are permitted to leave the capital."

"What happened to Queen Misrael?" Tink asked Malina.

"She died," Malina answered in a tone that basically said, "Are you stupid?"

"I've been absent from Court for fourteen years, I had no way of knowing," Tink told Malina. Tink had never liked Court in the first place. There were too many lies, cheats, secrets, and rules. With Peter and The Lost Boys, Tink was free to say and do what she wanted. She didn't have her governess forcing her into annoying dresses of different materials or her parents breathing down her neck about her behavior and her intelligence. She was always made fun of. People said she was dumb and slow. Peter never made fun of her, not once. Peter and the boys had always said she was the cleverest and quickest fairy in Neverland. I want to go home already, she thought sadly. Finally, they reached the tree where the Streela Court was located. Malina led her down into the tree and up to the throne where King Mevril was seated.

"Your Highness, I bring you Tinkerbell from The Hideout of Peter Pan," Malina declared, bowing low. Tink followed her actions, but said nothing to The King.

"After fourteen years of absence, you finally have been summoned back to Court. Do you know why you've been summoned back, Tinkerbell?" The King asked.

"No, your Highness," Tink answered, still bowed.

"You have been summoned back because of your absence. Do you not remember the rules, Tinkerbell? After fourteen years of absence, a being must come back to Court for one month. There is no option. If one does not come willingly, The King or Queen in power can have said being removed from his or her home and brought to Court by force," The King explained.

"I see, your Highness," Tink replied. All she really wanted to do was go to her room and prepare for whatever torture the people had planned for her. She was sure a head maid had been assigned to her to force her into any unpleasant articles of clothing that were going to be sent to her.

"I guess you're dismissed. Malina will show you to your room," King Mevril declared. He waved a ringed hand at Tink. She began to back away, but ended up running into someone.

"Sorry," she apologized quietly. Then she turned and followed Malina quickly, not even bothering to look at whom she had run into.

"This is your room," Malina declared, opening a door with a colored painting of the two Egyptian male and female eyes on it. Having both eyes meant double protection (a/n: This is according to my Mehndi art/henna tattoo book). Malina opened the door, and inside was a small bed with dark blue sheets with stars and a moon on them. There was a navy blue canopy with stars on it hanging over the bed. There was a blue wood dressed in the corner, a full body mirror next to the dresser, and a bathroom with a tub, a toilet, a sink, and a vanity.

"Will it do?" Malina asked after a moment of Tink staring at her room in awe.

"Will it do? Are you kidding? It's about ten times bigger than my room back home!" she exclaimed. She quickly caught herself. "Not that I don't love my room back home. It's perfectly fine for a person my size."

"Well, I'll leave you alone then. You should take a bath before the ball tonight. Catalina will be in with a dress that we special ordered before you got here," Malina explained. "I'll be back at eight o'clock to get you, so be ready. This means you have two and a half hours to get ready. Until then." With that, Malina left the room swiftly, closing the door behind her. Tink sighed and walked into the bathroom. She looked at the empty tub, focused her energy on it, and suddenly it was full of water with bubbles on top. Tink smiled. She had forgotten what it was like to take a nice, hot bath.

Tink had finished her bath and was now sitting at her vanity in a fluffy green bathrobe, looking over the cosmetics that had been placed there for her. Well, she thought, if they went through all the trouble to put this stuff out for me, I might as well use what I know how to use. She picked up the tube of shimmering red lipstick and put some on her small pink lips. Suddenly someone grabbed her shoulder.

"No!" the person, a woman fairy, exclaimed. "No, no, no! You're doing it all wrong. Here." She whirled Tink's chair around. She took the lipstick from Tink's hands and applied it to Tink's lips perfectly, much better than Tink had done.

"You must be Catalina," Tink laughed as the short, thin fairy started on her eyes.

"I am. Your dress is on your bed. We'll put it on you just as soon as I finish with your makeup." Catalina only put on a little bit of makeup, for which Tink was grateful, and did her hair up in a complicated hairdo consisting of a lot of braids and blue ribbons, before pulling Tink out of the bathroom and into the main room. On the bed was a strapless light blue dress with a jagged end and matching light blue slippers. Catalina helped her into the dress, and Tink put on the slippers. Then she walked in front of the mirror and twirled around. I don't look half bad for a scrawny, under-sized fairy, she thought half-happily.

Catalina opened the door at eight o'clock sharp, revealing Malina clad in a periwinkle spaghetti strap dress. She smiled as Tink walked out into the hallway.

"You look great, Tinkerbell," Malina declared.

"Malina, I'm gonna be here for a month, right?" Malina nodded. "And you're gonna be my guardian person for my whole stay, right?" Malina nodded again. "Okay, well, I can't go that long being called Tinkerbell by the one who's gonna be around me every day. Call me Tink."

Malina smiled. "Okay, Tink it is. Now, are you ready to go?"

"As ready as I'll ever be," Tink replied. Malina grinned and started down the hall, Tink right behind her. I guess Malina isn't as mean as I thought she was, Tink thought. She smiled to herself as they walked into the ballroom. The only people in the ballroom were fairies, though. I should have known, Tink thought. The others are all in the Trackla Court. D'oh! She rolled her eyes and looked around. Well, everything looked okay. There was a table of food against one wall. She walked over to it and picked up a piece of silver fruit. She never ate this good at The Hideout. She bit into the piece of fruit and let the sweet juice fill her mouth. It was delicious! She was about to grab another piece of fruit when someone tapped her on the shoulder. She turned around, thinking it was Malina, but was thoroughly surprised to find her grandparents smiling at her. Now, fairies are not immortal, but they do have very long lives. Rosemary and Mel were two very old, very healthy people.

"Grandma! Grandpa!" Tink exclaimed. She threw her arms around her grandma's neck, kissed her on the cheek, and did the same to her grandpa. "It's so great to see you! I've missed you so much! How are you?"

"We're fine. How have you been? In your last letter you said that some Wendy girl took the Lost Boys away," Mel said.

Tink made a face. "Yeah, that little rat took the boys. We've got new ones though. They're names are Snickers, Tumbler, Beanie, Tick, Monkey, and Jammer. So how are Mom and Dad? Are they here? And what about DJ? And Roxy?"

"They're all here. Your parents are on their way, I'm not sure where your sister is, and your brother is over there with his fiancé, Minnie." Rosemary pointed to the dance floor where couples were dancing. Tink recognized her brother almost instantly. He was dancing with a fairy girl with platinum blonde hair in a baby pink dress. Tink couldn't believe she hadn't seen her brother in fourteen years. He had only been six when she left, and now he was twenty with a beautiful fiancé. She smiled at her grandparents and started towards her brother. She wanted to surprise him. She hoped he would remember her.

She tapped Minnie on the shoulder. "Excuse me, may I cut in?"

"Who are you?" Minnie demanded.

DJ looked over at Tink and was looking back at Minnie when he did a double take, his eyes widening. "TINK?" he exclaimed.

"Miss me?" Tink asked, holding her arms out. She could tell Minnie was about to blow an artery when DJ hugged her, so she quickly slipped out of his arms, as he was now way taller than her, and smiled at Minnie. "You must be DJ's fiancé. I'm Tink, his older sister. I left fourteen years ago if you're wondering why you haven't met me yet. This is my first time back since I was ten."

"You're still as scrawny as ever, though," DJ cut in.

"Shut up, brat!" Tink ordered, grinning and swatting at his head.

"Hey, Tink, Mom and Dad are here," DJ whispered. He pointed behind Tink to the doorway where their parents stood. She sighed and turned back to DJ.

"So what do you say to your parents after fourteen years?" she asked.

DJ shrugged. "I don't know, I didn't leave home when I was six."

Tink stuck her tongue out at him. Then she kissed him on the cheek, turned around, and headed over to her parents.

"Hey, Mom, Dad," she murmured.

Her mom, Rose, gasped, and her dad, Sting, stared at her.

"Tink," Rose whispered. She grabbed Tink and pulled her into a hug.

"I missed you," Tink gasped through the bone-crunching hug her mom was giving her.

"How long have you been in?" Sting asked, putting an arm around his youngest daughter.

"About three hours," Tink laughed. "How's Roxy?"

"She had her baby," Rose answered. "She had a girl. You've been an aunt for about five years."

"I have a niece?"

"Yes," Sting replied. "Her name's Magnolia, but we call her Maggie. Would you like to meet her?"

"Yeah!" Tink exclaimed. Rose and Sting led her over to a table where a little girl with curly blonde hair and sky blue eyes wearing a white dress was sitting.

"Maggie," said Rose. The little girl looked up, broke into a grin, and jumped into Rose's arms.

"Nana!" she squealed.

"Maggie, we want you to meet someone," Sting declared. "This is Tinkerbell, she's your aunt."

Maggie looked up at Tink, and Tink smiled warmly at her. She bent down and held out her hand for the little girl to shake.

"If you're my aunt, why haven't I met you before?" Maggie demanded as she hesitantly shook Tink's hand.

"I haven't seen anyone from here since I was ten. That was fourteen years ago. You weren't even born yet," Tink explained.

"Oh..." Maggie trailed off. "MOMMY! Wanna meet my aunt, Mommy?" Maggie ran past Tink, Sting, and Rose and right into her mother's arms. "How 'bout you, Daddy? Wanna meet my aunt, Daddy?"

"Tink!" Roxy shrieked. She set Maggie down on the floor and enveloped her sister in a huge hug. "I missed you so much!" She turned around to face her husband. "Rom, can you watch Maggie for me, please? I'm gonna take my sister around. Oh, by the way, Tink, this is my husband, Roman, better known as Rom." Tink shook Rom's hand.

"Yeah, sure," Rom agreed. "You hungry, Magpie?"

"Yeah!" Maggie squealed. They walked off, and Sting and Rose were already gone.

"Monica has a little boy," Roxy informed Tink as she led her away. "Remember Nicolaos?" Tink nodded. "Well, they got married and had this little cutie right here." She picked up a little boy that looked about Maggie's age. "His name's Zan."

"Hi, Roxy," Zan laughed.

"Hi, Zan. Zan, this is your mom's cousin, Tink. She's my sister."

"Hi, Tink," Zan said. He held out his hand and Tink shook it. He was a lot friendlier than Maggie had been. "Are you thirsty? We have good punch!" He took an empty cup off of the table and handed it to Tink, pointing to the pitcher of pink punch on the table. Tink poured herself some and downed it.

"Excuse me, miss?" came a deep voice behind Tink. Tink turned around and her bright blue eyes met emerald green ones.

"Spike," she breathed.

"Hey, Tink," he replied, running a hand over his slicked back brown hair, which Tink remembered to be very unkempt when they were younger. She liked it better messy. "When'd you get in?"

"About three hours ago," Tink answered. She looked around for Roxy and Zan, but they were gone. Tink silently cursed her sister. She didn't want to be alone with Spike. She'd left him like he didn't mean anything to her, which wasn't true at all. She and Spike had been best friends before she left. She could tell by his face that he wasn't happy. "How are you?"

"Fine," he replied stiffly. She sighed quietly. He never used to be this stiff around her, or anyone for that matter. He used to be outgoing, witty, and very laid back. Maybe it was all her fault. Maybe he was stiff because he was talking to the best friend that he'd lost fourteen years ago.

"So..." she said awkwardly.

"You married yet?" he asked.

"No," she answered quickly. "Are you?"

"No," he replied just as quickly.

Tink bit her lip. "Do you... uh... wanna... um... dance? Maybe?" This was crazy! When they were younger, Tink and Spike would have danced all night together!

"Sure," he answered slowly, looking around. Tink set her empty cup on the table. He put his arms around her uneasily, and he was looking all around. Tink just stared at him. She felt like crying. She hadn't planned on seeing him again. Not now and not ever. All she wanted to do right now was slip out of Court and go home. Home, Tink thought sadly. She remembered the exact look on Peter's face as she left The Hideout. He looked like a puppy being abandoned by its owner. She wanted to go home and curl up next to him, knowing that everything was going to be okay. She felt a small tear slip down her cheek.

"Listen, Spike, I gotta go," she whispered as the song ended. She was turning to go when a girl ran up and wrapped her arms around Spike's neck.

"Spiky! I've been looking everywhere for you!" she declared. She turned around and saw Tink. "Oh my God, you must be the famous Tinkerbell! Spike told me all about how you guys were such good friends when he was little!"

"Yeah," Tink said slowly. "Who are you?"

"I'm Glitter! I'm Spike's fiancé," she replied.

Tink stared at them. She blinked and looked back and forth from Glitter to Spike. Someone must have sensed something was wrong, because a strong pair of arms caught her when she passed out.

"Tink," someone whispered. "Tinkerbell, wake up."

Tink squeezed her eyes closed, stretched her arms and wings, and opened her eyes. Staring down at her were three pairs of eyes. One pair of eyes was chestnut brown, another blue, and the last coffee brown, and they were all blinking at her.

"What happened?" she groaned.

"You passed out," said the owner of the chestnut brown eyes. It was Malina.

"Who caught me?"

"Me," the owner of the coffee brown eyes replied. That was DJ.

"Thanks. How'd I get here?"

"DJ carried you," the owner of the blue eyes answered. That was Catalina.

"You really gave Glitter a scare. She screamed right in my ear," DJ stated, grinning. Tink laughed groggily. "God, she's annoying."

"I hear ya," Malina agreed.

"If I have to wait on her one more time I'll eat my right hand," Catalina called from the bathroom where she was getting bathrobe for Tink. "She's nice and all, but she's so dumb."

"I know," Malina sighed.

"So why'd you pass out?" DJ inquired. "Do you not feel good or something?"

"No. I was just... overcome by different emotions, I guess. Out of all the times it's happened, I've never passed out before. I guess just getting homesick, but still being happy about seeing everyone else, and finding out that Spike's engaged. It was all a little too much, I guess."

"Well, you should be able to get up now," Catalina told her. "DJ, turn around."

"I'm her brother, Cat!" DJ protested.

"Turn around, DJ," Catalina ordered again, this time a little more firmly.

DJ moaned, but did as he was told. No matter how old he got, he was still like a little kid. Tink loved that about him. Malina and Catalina pulled Tink to her feet and helped her into her bathrobe.

"Okay, we'll leave you alone. You can take a nice bath. You can wear whatever you want during the day, but The King has requested you be at supper tonight, so we'll need a nice dress for that. I'll send out for one," said Catalina.

"Thanks, Catalina," Tink called.

"Call me Cat, honey!" Catalina replied. Then she ushered DJ and Malina out the door, leaving Tink alone.

Tink slipped off her bathrobe, filled her tub with hot water, and slipped in. She figured she'd wander around the grounds for a while. Maybe she'd have the luck to run into some of her old friends. She slipped into the leaf dress that she wore around The Hideout and left her room. She was nearly bowled over when a girl came flying (literally) down the hallway.

"MOVE!" she yelled.

"Who ya runnin' from, Speedy?" Tink called.

The redheaded fairy stopped short and turned slowly to face Tink. "TINK?"

"SPEEDY!" Tink laughed.

"How long are you back f—" Suddenly she was tackled to the ground and flipped over backwards.

"Chichi!" Speedy yelled. "Get off! Tink's back!"

"Tink!" Chichi exclaimed. She jumped up and hugged Tink, and Speedy followed her actions.

"How've you guys been?" Tink asked.

"Well, I'm married," Chichi replied. "And Speedy likes someone."

"Who?" Tink demanded.

Speedy blushed. "Remember Orlando?"

Tink nodded. "Yeah, we hung out with him when we were younger." She smiled. "You like Orlando?"

"Not so loud!" Speedy ordered.

"Sorry," Tink laughed. "Speedy, he liked you when we were little. He told me before I left. I felt really bad."

Speedy giggled. "You should have! You left me all alone with Chichi, psycho hyperactive fairy from Hell."

"Hey!" Chichi objected. "I was not a psycho hyperactive fairy from Hell! Well, I was, but Tink was too. Remember what the three of us would do when our parents would go out?"

Tink grinned. "We'd all sneak out, go down to the kitchens, and feast on sweets. Then we wouldn't be able to sleep because we'd be all hyped up on sugar, so we'd sneak out again and play pranks on people. I remember."

"Hey, I better go. I told my mom I'd cut Lily's hair for her. Yeah, Tink, I bet it's hard to believe that my older brother is a father. But if you feel like dropping in, I live down the hall from the library now. You'll know my door when you see it." She laughed. "I'll catch you two cool kittens later though!" With that, she ran off.

"Are you guys comin' to dinner with The King too?"

Speedy nodded. "He's having your family and everyone that you were close to before you left."

"Does that mean Spike?"

Speedy nodded. "Duh. You guys were inseparable when we were little. I know that it's gonna be me, Chichi, Spike, Orlando, Flit, and our families."

Tink groaned. "And his family. Would that include Glitter?"

"Oh, you mean Miss I-Want-To-Annoy-Everyone-Beyond-Reason-With-My-Peppiness-And-Stupidity?" Speedy asked. Tink laughed and nodded. "Yeah, she'll be there."

"Okay, well you need to help me make up some lame excuse as to why I passed out yesterday when she told me she's Spike's fiancé."

"I thought that was you! All I saw was DJ catch someone that passed out. Then he disappeared. I was standing there going 'Was that Tink? That couldn't be Tink! Or could it? BLAH!'" She laughed.

Tink grinned. "Yeah, that was me. So what should my excuse be? Dehydration? Hunger? Some sickness thought of while hyped up on sugar?"

Speedy smiled. "We'll say dehydration. Glitter probably doesn't even know what that is, so we've got nothing to worry about." The two laughed. "Hey, I've gotta run. Is this your room?" Tink nodded. "Okay, I'll meet you here before dinner. Bye!" With that she ran off, and Tink was left alone. So she decided to visit her favorite place in the whole Streela Court: the library.

The library of the Streela Court was very large and very full. There were books lining every wall on both levels, stained glass windows above the bookshelves, tables in the middle of the room, and a large crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling. The floor was a mosaic of a moon and stars, and it was cold on Tink's bare feet. She flew over to the spiral staircase that led up to the second level. There were two spiral staircases; one was for going upstairs and the other for going downstairs. She climbed the up staircase and hurried over to the shelves to find her favorite book. She still remembered where it was at. She ran her fingers over the backs of the books on the shelves. When she was ten she was reading books about five to ten levels higher than her. Finally she found it: A Letter by Scarlet Fressway (a/n: no, this is not a real book, so if you go looking for it, you will have no luck). She sat down at a small empty table and opened to a random page before she began reading.
