I could not see you
Die
You broke me inside.

I tried to hold the tears
From falling as I remembered,
As you brought the hope and
Glory for men, and hope for
Middle-Earth.

I tried again and again
To hold the tears from falling,
I could not cry of
Your loss.

Why? Why?
I asked.
I could feel the tears
As they finally fell,
As I was broken
By your death.
That I thought I would
Never face again.
