Review and Response Time!
SexySayainSakura Says:
Squee! Awesome job I am glad you got a new chapter up. My favorite part was when Bulma accused Nappa of using Ayeka for money and sex from the chapter six. Oh my gosh that was hilarious nicely done. I can't wait for your next chapter and to find out who that new mysterious Killing Perfection is ;-)
Dear SexySayainSakura,
Haha, thanks for reviewing! Yep, I can’t help but make these loveable characters’ minds out of the gutter. Well, this mystery of the Killing Perfection’s identity is solved in this chapter, though I’m sure everyone knows who he is by now.
Vicki Says:
get ryoko in there soon! And please pair her with Sesshoumaru I recognized the description of him. I do love the story and hope you update soon
Dear Vicki,
I do plan on having Ryoko come into the story after a few more chapters. But she won’t be paired up with Sesshoumaru. They both go off in totally different directions, but they are acquaintances in the story. I’m glad you love the story, and I updated sooner than usual.
Katiiey Says:
(Waving Washu's fans) Go Mihoshi! Go Saiyans! Kick the Ginyus from here to Monday! The Killing Perfection sorta sounds like Sheshomaru or Inyuyasha now that I think about it, am I right? Whoah, I'm not a wake, so good day, or night, or evening, or morning, or whatever.
Dear Katiiey,
LOL, well someone sounds a little hyper today. Just kidding. Well, you find out the Killing Perfection’s identity in this chapter so enjoy!
Queen Freaky Says:
Hm, I think this is your best story yet! I look forward to the next chapter... Sorry I didn't review earlier! As always, keep up the good work!

Sono Youkai Mecchen!
Dear Queen Freaky,
Wow, thanks for reading this fic too! I’m glad you think it’s good as well. Usually my newer fics are better than my older ones. This one is more detailed than Raditz Muyo because that one is just a silly comedy, and this one I put more effort into it. Enjoy chapter 8!
Author’s Note: Wow, I updated faster than I thought! Well, I hope that you all love this chapter! It’s very detailed and I was more focused while writing this chapter because I kinda got over this writer’s block thing. Well, read and enjoy!

Chapter Eight: The Ominous Nomad, Nakago
“What do you want Tokimi?” asked a deep celestial voice that belonged to the God of War, Seriyu. Seriyu was recognized to be a blue dragon but his present state was in his form of a man. He stood in the shrine that was dedicated to Tokimi with a stern look on his face. His blue bangs were feathered back with two strands of hair in front of his forehead. In the middle of his forehead between the two bushy blue brows was a blue Chinese symbol, and his eyes were aqua blue. Instead of human ears, he had a pair of fin like dragon ears. He wore armor that was fashioned in the Chinese style, and his long hair was pulled back by a grand helmet like hat one might see a general wear.
“I am glad you came, Seriyu.” Tokimi responded as she gave him a slight smile despite the cold stare the other god gave her. “I wish to ask you if I might be able to…borrow your human Summoner for a while.”
Still giving Tokimi a cold stare, Seriyu asked in a skeptical tone, “What is it that you want with him?”
Tokimi only gave him another warm smile and replied sweetly, “I wish to have him take part in my plan…and start a war…a war to end this world…”
XxXxXxXxXNone of our heroes knew that high above them in a tree that showed a great view of the fight scene below, was the Killing Perfection, standing still on a thick branch. The wind blew past his body in front of him, causing silver tresses to sway back with the current. His face held no expression, like usual, as his golden hues lingered on the fighters in a judgmental stare. Jaken stood in silence at his master’s side, watching the fight as well, though his eyes held more curiosity than the Killing Perfection would allow himself to show. Both of these demons had similar questions on their minds, as they stood there motionless in the tree with the cool breeze blowing towards them. Why did these Saiyans have to be killed immediately? What kind of threat were they to the Goddess of Chaos?
Under his golden gaze, the Killing Perfection watched as his targets, the Saiyans, did battle with the country’s second best Samurai senshi. The giant bald one did okay, though it was clear he didn’t know Bushido, and the longhaired Saiyan was doing all right considering that he was a Ronin. The shorter one was fighting the other Ginyu Senshi member with his hands against a sword, and missed deadly swings by just a hair. “Tokimi wants me to kill these guys? What a joke. This is insulting that I, the Killing Perfection assassin, am hired to kill these novices. Don’t you agree Jaken?” inquired the Youkai assassin in a soft, almost inaudible tone.
“Aye milord!” the imp replied softly after blinking a few times. “Though it may be a little interesting to watch that girl who claims to be of the Kuramitsu clan fight Ginyu Daiou, sire.”
“Indeed…” murmured the Killing Perfection, as he shifted his gaze to where Ginyu Daiou and Mihoshi were fighting.
When Ginyu Daiou charged towards his opponent, Mihoshi, his sword was already drawn out and a grin was plastered on his face. “I will cut you in two girly!” he shouted at her as his lips pulled back to sneer mockingly at her while bringing his blade down in a powerful vertical strike.
The sun that reflected off of Ginyu Daiou’s sword caught hold of the clear blue hues that belonged to Mihoshi, and widened when she suddenly realized that this was her first major battle. Her heart was beating hard against her chest, and she could have sworn that it was about to jump right into her throat at any minute. Her mind kept telling her to run, that this was a flight, not a fight situation. But she wouldn’t run, no matter how afraid she was of getting seriously hurt. No matter how many thoughts she had about this being her first, and perhaps last fight. To run would bring shame to the Kuramitsu name, and shame upon herself as a warrior. Wasn’t the reason why she was here at this very moment because she wanted to prove herself? Gripping the handle of her katana, she bared her teeth a little, bringing her blade up to block that of Ginyu Daiou’s. Mihoshi braced herself for the strong strike of Ginyu; he was stronger and more experienced that she was. ‘Remember Ojisan’s training…remember it!’ her mind replayed these words to build up her courage and chase away all doubtful fears.
As the two blades met, Ginyu Daiou felt the familiar sensations and heard the familiar sounds of metal clashing together. The sound was crisp and refreshing to his ears, soon a cynical smirk graced his lips when he took notice that his strength was pushing the blonde woman back and saw a few beads of sweat start to form on her brow. Deciding to jump back a bit and break their contact, he made a second offensive attack, swinging his blade to make a sideways slash to her waist in hopes of cutting her in half and have her guts spill from her body.
After Ginyu had jumped back, Mihoshi stumbled back a little from the sudden relief of his weight bearing down on her trying to push her back. He was even stronger than she first thought, and it was not a good thing to underestimate your opponent in battle; especially in one of your first major battles. ‘Oh why did he choose to fight me!’ she asked herself in thought, biting her lower lip to keep it from quivering in anxiety and fear of what could happen if she made on little mistake. Once again he made a strike at her, and once again she used her blade to stop his from harming her, this time with a little more knowledge of his strength, which was only of minor help.
Once again, Ginyu felt the familiar sensations of the meeting of metal against another weapon of metal. The second clang was louder than the last, since the girl put more effort into her block. Instead of backing off like last time, Ginyu chose to twist his wrist, along with his blade, to turn the blade to break free of her block and come back into a circle. The tip of his katana found a way between the space where her arm was held away from her torso. Making a quick stabbing motion, he plunged his sword forward with the intention of impaling her in the middle. “Take this!” he growled maliciously as he made his swift move, with one hand on the hilt and the other on the flat surface of the handle.
Again, Mihoshi’s eyes widened when she took notice of what Ginyu Daiou was trying to do next. Jumping back about a yard, she just barely dodged the fatal attack and made the mistake of letting a high-pitched squeak escape her throat. She glanced to where Ginyu’s sword had found her open spot and saw that some of her clothes were slashed from where his sword had cut past. Luckily for her, her skin was not also grazed by the cold steal. Quickly she glanced from her cut clothes to meet the cold black gaze of the leader of the Ginyu Senshi and waited for his next attack. Mihoshi was unsure about making an offensive attack against him; she was afraid that he would do some awesome trick to deflect the attack then stab her with great ease.
“Heh heh…” a dark chuckle came from the purple Oni standing in front of her. “What’s wrong? Did I ruin your favorite outfit or something?” Ginyu questioned tauntingly with a wicked grin from seeing her reaction. Changing his stance a bit, he held the hilt of the sword above his head so that the blade was turned to face his blonde opponent. Once again he took the offensive and attempted to strike her with a slanted strike aiming to cut her at her right shoulder to her upper left side.
Thin blonde brows narrowed a bit as Mihoshi charged forward to meet Ginyu’s strike again, but this time she was determined to break the contact between their swords. The two katanas clashed once again and she had to struggle to hold back his blade and his superior strength. After a few moments of groaning, and strenuous attempts to push back, Mihoshi managed to twist both the blades to the side and broke their contact herself for the first time since the battle had started. She quickly twisted her wrist so that the sword was in an upright position and grasped the hilt with both hands swinging her blade across in a hopeful attempt to slash him across the neck.
Catching only brief glimpses of metal illuminated by the light of the sun, Ginyu quickly raised his own sword up to block it, this time holding both blades in the block as she inched closer to her face. The two blades scrapped each other as he came closer, making a horrible sound that would make anyone who heard it want to cringe. When their noses were only inches away from each other, Ginyu gave the Kuramitsu girl a grin, showing her his teeth and said to her, “It’s about time you did something offensive, I was beginning to nod off to sleep.” After saying the words that were meant to damage her pride, he jumped back to a farther distance and held his sword lower than he had been.
Kicking up a bit of dirt as she stepped back so there was more distance between them both, Mihoshi gave him a smile to mask her insecurities about the outcome of this battle. “Well get ready cause I’m just getting warmed up!” she exclaimed enthusiastically, as if she enjoyed being on the receiving end of his attacks. Still holding her blade with both hands, she gripped it a little tighter and brought it up vertically in front of her body. Viewing her from the front, the way she held her sword made it seem as if it were separating her left side of her profile from the right. Mihoshi made her mouth form into a strait line and her eyes focused on Ginyu with an intense gaze, trying to anticipate when he made his next attack.
“I was being sarcastic.” Ginyu Daiou stated after chuckling from watching her take up her serious stance in efforts to intimidate him. “It seems you blondes don’t venture far into sarcasm enough to recognize when it is being used.” He began to twirl his blade around his body; the sharp edge of the sword was mere inches from his skin. The sound of air being cut by the incredible speed he was using filled the air and caused the hairs on the back of the blonde samurai girl’s neck to stand on end.
Trying to shake off the feeling of dread and the nausea of anticipation, Mihoshi glared at her opponent and replied in a loud determined tone to chase away her fears and slow her heart that seemed to have been beating just as fast as Ginyu Daiou’s sword movements. “Oh yeah! Well this blonde’s gonna kick your butt from here to kingdom come!” Sheathing her sword, she then jumped back a little more so she could have more room for her running start towards the Oni samurai. Once there was only three feet difference from where they stood, Mihoshi kicked off the ground to jump over him. Holding her knees to her chest, she made her body curl into a ball shape, making her body spin faster. She landed on her back when she reached the ground ungracefully, but quickly rolled to her side to get back to her feet so she was facing Ginyu’s back. Taking her sword back out, she attempted to attack him from behind.
Ginyu Daiou quickly spun his torso around, his feet still planted in the same spot as when he facing forward and ducked so that her blade went past his head just barely in time to escape. Taking the opportunity to strike her when she was open, he once again aimed for her midsection. Though the blonde saw this coming and blocked his blade once more and pushed his sword back, making a metallic clanking sound as she did and proceeded to attack the now vulnerable Ginyu Daiou. But Ginyu managed to change his current position quicker than she expected and managed to duck another one of her attacks and then charged directly at her.
Mihoshi took a few hops back realizing that she couldn’t keep this up for very much longer. It was obvious that she was already getting tired from trying to match Ginyu Daiou’s swift movements. She was panting softly already as she held her sword in a defensive stance. ‘I wish I had more experience before I faced someone like Ginyu Daiou!’ she thought to herself. ‘All I can do is defend myself, he’s too fast for me to make any offensive moves.’ Then a thought out of desperation popped into her head. ‘Perhaps if I tried to use the Kuramitsu special attack, the one that Grandpa used to defeat the Demon King? He did teach it to me…’
After seeing that she was already starting to become short of breath, Ginyu stopped charging towards her. There was about two yards between the two combatants now, and Ginyu Daiou now held his sword strait out in front of his body in the classic sword combat stance. The air that was filled with the clanging of swords from the other fighters and their grunts and growling now had another sound to add. Cynical laughter escaped Ginyu Daiou as he threw his head back and closed his eyes. “Ha ha ha ha! What’s wrong Kuramitsu? Out of breath already? And here I thought fighting you would be a little fun.” He sneered as he added, “I’ll tell you what, I’ll give you the first attack this time since I’ve been doing all the attacking so far. It’s only fair that I give the little lady a try at defeating me.” He then began to grin for a new, more perverted reason, “How about after I win I let you live? Traveling around with those four other guys doesn’t exactly let me fulfill all my…male needs…”
Mihoshi had to hold back the urge to vomit at the very thought of this Oni even thinking of the two of them in an intimate situation such as he was suggesting to. Changing her stance to offensive, she tried to ignore his last statement and shouted, “Alright, I’ll play my trump card now!” With a few final thoughts, she told herself, ‘Last time I tried the Kuramitsu special attack, I destroyed the Dojo, and completely missed my target!’ Swallowing the lump that somehow managed to form in her throat, she added a small prayer, ‘Please Kami-sama…please let me be able to complete this move. I got to help my new friends and the princess! Please let it be able to blast him a few hundred miles away from us at the very least!’ Bringing her katana closer to her body, she used her left index and middle finger to travel up the unsharpened edge of her sword up to the tip, and a brownish green aura began to surround her sword as she prepared for her attack. The aura was her own, and the energy from the mountains that were around the area.
Ginyu Daiou still held his blade in a defensive stance while he watched her with a arrogant sneer directed towards her. “I can hardly wait…” he said to himself with a cynical chuckle.
The sword’s aura began to glow more the longer she gathered the two energies, “Winds from the mountains, hear my plea,” she chanted, almost as if she were about to cast a spell of some kind. “Give me your strength to cut down my enemy…” Suddenly, the blade’s aura changed to a brownish red, as if it were fire. Glaring now at Ginyu Daiou, she pointed the blade up above her head and cried out to the heavens. “THIS IS THE KURAMITSU SPECIAL TECHNIQUE: ICHIJIN FEENGENSHOU KIRTATERU!” Bringing down the sword with all the strength she could muster, the blade and it’s intensively strong energy that surrounded it began to split the earth in front of her bringing with it a powerful blast of wind that was scorching hot. The rate that the attack was heading towards Ginyu Daiou was swift and destructive of anything that got in its way as it headed strait towards the Oni samurai senshi leader.
Ginyu had been standing away from her with a look of arrogance until the magnitude of this attack hit him and now a look of alarm was on his face. Though his mind told him to jump to the side, the power of this attack seemed to hold him there in awe of such power. The grass that it came into contact with burned instantly into ash and was carried away by the wind and created a foot deep indentation in the earth. It wasn’t until the last minute that Ginyu snapped out of this trance and had to run and jump to the side in order to avoid being hit. Had he stayed in that spot a moment longer, he surely would have been burned alive by the hot wind and the energy that came with it.
The attack still continued on, even after missing it’s intended target, causing all the others who were fighting to stop for a moment and get out of the way of the strange, yet powerful attack. For a long time the four other Ginyu Senshis and the four Saiyans watched the Kuramitsu special attack plow though the forest until it was out of their sights. Bulma and Ayeka watched with widened eyes, since neither of them had been watching Mihoshi and Ginyu as much as they had been the Saiyans, so they never saw the attack coming. Soon all eyes were focused on the blonde Samurai who created the destructive attack. Mihoshi had planted the tip of her blade into the ground and was leaning on it for support. Now she was huffing and puffing as beads of sweat rolled down the back of her neck down her back and from her forehead to the tip of her nose. Everything was now silent, so Mihoshi Kuramitsu’s heavy breathing was the only thing that could be heard in the area.
Above them in the high branch of the tree where the Killing Perfection and Jaken stood, the Imp gasped in amazement after the two Youkai witnessed the impressive attack. “Oh my gods!” exclaimed Jaken, his voice could not hide the amazement it held. “So that’s the move that took down the Demon King Piccolo! No wonder you hear so much about the Kuramitsu Clan these days!”
“Amateurs.” The Killing Perfection scoffed with his usual emotionless tone.
“Huh?” Jaken blinked up at his lord and master, wondering why The Killing Perfection talked as if the attack he had just witnessed bored him. Then he realized that his earlier statement might have offended the more powerful demon and began to speak in an aplogetic way. “Oh! But of course! She is only a mere mortal! The energy she just conjured probably whipped out all her energy. Such an attack would be child’s play for a great demon lord such as yourself!”
Before Jaken could think of another statement to praise the other demon in an attempt to suck up to him, The Killing Perfection spoke again in a calm, unaffected tone, as if Jaken never uttered a word the whole time. “That Kuramitsu girl is nothing but a wanna-be Samurai who still needs training. Still…” he paused as his gaze left the blonde woman and went to the Saiyans that were still gawking at their new comrade. “…I do not understand why Tokimi would fear such people who are so inexperienced.” Then his golden gaze went to where the blue haired Miko and the princess Ayeka were standing. “At least this will just make things easier for me, and getting the princess from them should be simple enough.” Turning to his henchman, he stared down at the imp and began to give his orders, “Jaken. Prepare to use the binding chains and lasso the princess Ayeka. Pull her up here and we’ll take her away from her weak yojimbos. We’ll use her as bait to lure them away from the Ginyu Senshi, or we can just let them kill the Saiyans off. It doesn’t matter which kills them first. If a few of them survive they will come after Ayeka anyways.”
Jaken nodded in great approval at his demon lord’s idea, “Ah, indeed milord! That’s a splendid idea! It’s no wonder only you are the Demon Lord of Kyoto!”
Ignoring the last statement of his loyal henchman who was trying to suck up to him, The Killing Perfection turned to leave, but not without saying a few more words to Jaken. “Once you’ve captured the princess, take Ah-Un and have them follow my scent.” He ordered then jumped to the neighboring tree’s branch with ease and went on to the next tree in the same way until he was out of sight.
Back down on the ground, Ginyu Daiou stared at the exhausted Kuramitsu woman for a few more moments before his lips pulled back into a snarl. The fact that he could have been killed by that attack for underestimating his opponent’s skill didn’t settle with him very nicely. A feral growl emitted from his throat before he looked over to his four comrades who still gazed at the blonde woman in astonishment, having forgotten that they were in combat still. “Ginyu Senshi!” he yelled at them to catch their attention; the tone he used with them was obviously a mixture of frustration and outrage. “Take hold of the blonde girl! Hold her down so I can kill her! The Saiyans are easy pickings, but she’s a threat! We can’t let her live!”
The other members of the Ginyu Senshi blinked a few times after hearing the shocking order from their captain. They had a feeling that perhaps Ginyu Daiou’s pride had been hurt from underestimating Mihoshi. “Uh…” Jeice spoke up first in a hesitant way, “…but captain…Frieza-sama only ordered us to kill the Saiyans…” he then glanced at his other warriors, to hopefully gain their confirmation that his statement was true. After a few moments, the three other Oni samurais nodded cautiously. They were Samurai and were brutal, but they still had some standards. Perhaps they were also afraid of Mihoshi after seeing her use such a strong attack.
Not exactly thinking strait, in the heat of his anger Ginyu yelled at his men, “You dare question my judgment! Get over here and hold her down! It shouldn’t be that hard of a task now that she’s drained of most of her energy.”
For several more moments, the four other members of the Ginyu Senshi stood in the positions they were in. None of the dared to budge even a little, in a silent protest against Ginyu Daiou’s orders. Another feral growl escaped Ginyu Daiou as he gave them a glare of disgust. It was then that a new voice from someone who had not been there spoke up. The voice was very deep, obviously masculine and whomever it belonged to, obviously spoke very harshly towards Ginyu Daiou. “You need four men to hold down one woman? How pathetic!”
“Who said that?” Ginyu Daiou demanded as he turned back to where he heard the voice. Everyone then started to look to where the new voice had come from, even the imp Jaken paused to see who had arrived to the scene. The new person’s back was turned to them as he helped Mihoshi walk over to a shady tree to sit under. When the person turned around, there was much to him that was still a mystery.
Indeed it was a man who had spoken, since he stood at six foot three inches. Most of his body was covered in armor that was of a foreign design, and was in many shades of blue, even his boots that almost came up to his knees were a dark blue. A royal blue cape covered most of his armor as well, except for some of his left side. On his left hip there was a sheathed Tai Chi sword, not a curved Katana. Part of the cape concealed most of his face, leaving half of the bride of his nose and his eyes uncovered. Strands of blonde hair came out from under his helmet, which was as most would guess, blue, but it was the most decorative part of his attire. In front of it was a turquoise dragon, it’s snout coming down to the middle of his forehead and the rest of the body went back and at the very top was dark blue feather. Another strange part of his armor besides the style, was on the left shoulder guard there was a claw like thing, the long talons were green. The color of his skin was also fairer than that of those in the area, the skin pigment could be similar to those of a Caucasian man. All of this noted, the most captivating thing about this man was his ice blue eyes that were a rarity in the country, and the shape of his eyes were also different from this country’s.
“And just who are you?” Ginyu Daiou questioned as he scowled at the foreigner.
A soft chuckle of slight amusement could be heard from behind the strange man’s masked mouth. “It doesn’t matter who I am to the likes of you.” He replied coolly, not at all threatened by the taller Oni, or his men. “All I am doing is passing by.”
His katana still in hand, Ginyu pointed the tip at the mysterious man before him. “Then what’s it to you if I kill this girl or not?” he growled, increasing the intensity of his scowl, as if he tried to scare off the other man by glaring at him.
“Well, what kind of a man who considers himself a warrior needs to call upon his comrades to take out a weakened warrior, and a woman none the less?” questioned the foreigner still unaffected by Ginyu Daiou’s scowl or his pointed sword. There was distance between them, but even still, it seemed as if the other man wouldn’t have lost his cool even if Ginyu Daiou’s sword were pointing right at his neck. The tone the mysterious man used held absolutely no emotion what so ever.
“Why you…!” Ginyu began but never finished his sentence because he was so furious. He had a sneaking suspicion that the foreigner was hiding his smirk behind the cloth of his cape. Holding his sword in an offensive stance before he charged right at the foreign man, he yelled out, “The kind of man that’s going to cut you into pieces!”
As Ginyu Daiou charged, the man in blue armor made no efforts to move until it would have been too late. In a swift movement, he took his sword, still sheathed, from his hip and held it up so that Ginyu’s katana came down on it. When Ginyu Daiou was about to strike, he held his sword above his head and brought the blade down to try and cut the foreigner down the middle. Though when his sword came in contact with the sheath, he was left with a huge open spot from which he could not defend himself, and it gave the man in blue armor enough time to act. With one hand still holding the metal sheath, he drew his Tai Chi sword with his other. Swiftly, he pushed the sheath up and managed to push back Ginyu’s sword, leaving Ginyu’s vulnerable abdomen exposed. The blue-eyed man did not hesitate for a moment, and plunged his sword deep into Ginyu Daiou’s gut, with enough force to have the tip of his sword pierce though his body and come out though his back.
Ginyu’s black eyes widened when he felt the cold steel pierce though his body, and some blood trickled out of the side of his mouth and ran down his mouth to his chin. The blue-eyed man held his sword there for several moments, allowing the captain of the Oni samurai to acknowledge that he was going to die. Soon Ginyu felt the blade leave his body as his opponent stepped back and blood began to spill from the open wound in his gut. Taking a few steps back, the purple Oni started to cough up blood and lost the strength to even hold his katana. It fell from his limp hands and the metal of the katana made a faint clanking sound after hitting the dirt. The other Ginyu Senshi stood by astonished by how easily their captain was defeated. The Saiyans, the three girls, and even Jaken stared at in amazement buy how quick the blue-eyed stranger moved.
After a few moments of watching Ginyu Daiou cough up blood, the foreigner began to walk up to him. When the purple Oni raised his head to look up, he found his gaze locked with the coldest blue eyes he had ever seen, it was as if the other man’s eyes were able to freeze his entire body. As he raised his Tai Chi sword, the foreigner said his last words to Ginyu, “You have lost.” He said in his deep, emotionless voice, before he swung his sword and sliced though Ginyu Daiou’s neck, decapitating him. Ginyu’s head fell to the ground with a clearly heard thump and rolled a little to the side; his eyes remained open, and the look of shock remained on his features. The captain’s body soon fell sideways with his head moments after.
Nobody else moved or said a word for a while after the decapitation of the great Ginyu Daiou. Jaken stood in his place in the tree with his already big eyes twice the size they normally were. “W-who is that man! Does he travel with the Saiyans!” he asked himself in awe. Shaking his head to focus on his task, he thought, ‘Nevermind all that! I have a mission! Now that they are all distracted by this situation, I can capture the princess!’ Jumping down carefully to the lower branches of the tree, he found one that was hovering just above where Ayeka and Bulma were standing.
“My gods…” Ayeka murmured after witnessing what had happened and placing her fingertips to her mouth. Before she could think, or even do anything else, she felt cold steel being wrapped around her body. She even heard the rattling of chains and looked down to see that her torso had been wrapped up in chains. Ayeka gasped and tried to struggle out of them, but soon she felt herself being lifted off the ground! Whoever, or whatever, had done this, was attacking her from above, in the tree perhaps. “Ahh! Someone! Help!” she cried out, hoping to catch someone’s attention and aid her.
Bulma looked up and noticed Ayeka being carried into the tree by an imp, “AH! THERE’S AN IMP IN THE TREE!” she cried.
Everyone looked to where Ayeka and Bulma were after hearing them scream and were a bit taken aback to see that such a small imp managed to pull Ayeka up in the tree. Especially since they never knew it was even there. Before Nappa could think of how to act, the mysterious man who had slain Ginyu Daiou walked causally up to the tree where the imp was in. He stopped just under the tree and looked up at small imp, catching Jaken’s yellow eyes with his own blue ones. Just as Ginyu had felt frozen, Jaken felt himself shiver from the icy cold stare that could have rivaled his master’s. His Tai Chi sword was still in hand, and blood was trickling down the blade.
Though the foreigner chose to raise his other hand up at the imp, and then something strange happened. Jaken noticed that on his forehead, appeared a blue symbol that looked like a Chinese character. “Ko…ko…ro?” Jaken sounded out under his breath. Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain shoot though his hands and it caused him to loose his grip on chains.
Just as Ayeka started to fall back down to the ground, the man in blue armor caught her with ease. She had closed her eyes when she felt herself beginning to fall, so when she realized that she was caught, she opened her eyes and blinked a few times. ‘Did…did Nappa save me?’ she wondered as she glanced up at her rescuer to find her dark pink eyes facing those of blue. Another gasp left her mouth; ‘It’s that strange man!’ she clarified to herself in thought. Unlike the two men who locked their gaze with him before, Ayeka felt herself become captivated by his eyes. ‘What beautiful blue eyes…’ she thought with awe as she felt her cheeks grow hot, the symptoms of an oncoming blush. The way the sun was reflecting to his side made his armor shine, and the strands of hair that were in his face seem more golden. In that moment, Ayeka finally realized this could probably fit into the category of a “Knight in shining armor” after just being rescued by this mysterious man.
After keeping his gaze on Ayeka’s, he then looked back up at the imp in the tree, “I suggest you leave now.” He told him in a stern tone, meaning that he would have no trouble disposing of Jaken in the same way he had Ginyu Daiou if he chose to stay any longer.
Jaken almost fell from the tree after hearing the foreigner speak, and was glad that he didn’t suffer the same fate as the Oni samurai. Without another word of protest, or hesitation, Jaken climbed back up the tree and scurried off to find Ah-Un, and tell his master, The Killing Perfection, of what he had just witnessed.
A chuckle of wry amusement was heard from the man in armor, before he looked down at Ayeka again. “Are you alright miss?” he asked, his eyes closed for a few moments making him seem a little more friendly and his deep voice sounded little softer as he spoke to the violet haired woman.
“Oh!” Ayeka blurted out in surprise, taken aback by how he suddenly went from a stern warrior, to a sweetie in her opinion; or at least compared to Nappa. “Y-yes, I’m fine…t-thank you!” she felt her face grow even hotter and knew that there had to have been a pink flush across her face now.
“H-HEY!” shouted an Australian accent, one that only belonged to one Jeice of the Ginyu Senshi. After setting Ayeka on her feet, the stranger turned to face Jeice and the three other samurai. “Y-you just killed Ginyu Daiou! Our captain!”
“Does it look like I care?” questioned the strange man; his tone went back to being cold and was still calm, even though he might now have to face the four other warriors by himself. “He attacked me on his own, so of course you can’t blame a man for defending himself.” The fabric from his cape that he used to cover most of his face shifted, a sign that his mouth had moved, a smirk could have been assumed to be on his face if you removed the royal blue fabric from his face. “Do any of you wish to avenge his death now?” After asking his question, he flicked his wrist so that the blood that was on his sword would fly off and splatter on a nearby tree trunk and on to the grass.
“Uh…” the Oni samurais said in unison with dumbfounded expressions on their faces as they turned to one another as if to ask the same question of each other.
After a minute or two of hesitation, Recoome spoke up and said, “Uh…well…yes…”
“B-but not now!” Burter added wisely, noticing that the foreigner looked like he didn’t have a problem fighting them all right now.
“Y-yeah!” Guldo nodded with a nervous gulp, since he didn’t feel like getting his head chopped off today.
Pointing his finger at the man in blue armor, Jeice decided to finish their decisions for the Senshi sounding a little less frightened than the rest of his comrades. “Just you wait! We’re gonna train and get stronger so that we can avenge our great captain! Then we’ll kill you!” Jeice then looked to Raditz, Nappa, Vegeta and Kakarrot, before he concluded. “And then, we’re going to kill them!” With those words said, the four surviving members of the Ginyu Senshi then high tailed it out of the area in great haste.
After they left, Raditz went to see if Mihoshi was all right. “Hey, are you okay?” he asked concerned.
“Yeah, I’ll be okay…” Mihoshi replied with a weak smile, “…I’m just a little…tired is all.”
“None of us got hurt badly, right?” Nappa asked, looking around at the other three Saiyans.
“NOPE!” chirped Kakarrot with a goofy grin on his face giving Nappa a thumbs up. “I was just starting to get a work out before Mihoshi did that strange attack!”
A groan came from Vegeta, both from a few of his wounds and because of Kakarrot’s chipper nature. “Ugh, speak for yourself, Kakarrot…” he muttered, his attitude was still as moody as ever with a dry look on his face. “Stupid Onis…can’t they ever fight without swords?”
Blinking a few times, Kakarrot tried to answer Vegeta’s rhetorical question. “Hum…well they are a famous Samurai group so it would be kind of odd to see them without their katanas.” He said with a thoughtful expression while beginning to imagine how the Ginyu Senshi would have fought without their swords.
Vegeta’s expression grew dryer as Kakarrot spoke, not taking notice that Bulma came to his side until she took hold of his arm and started to look over the cuts from Jeice’s sword. “This is what happens when you teach the village idiot how to think.” he muttered to blue haired Miko.
“Save the sarcasm Vegeta, you’re hurt.” Bulma told him with a stern look. “If it wasn’t for that strange guy stepping in, you guys might have been killed!”
Vegeta, as well as the other Saiyans who had been fighting the Ginyu Senshi, gave Bulma similar looks of irritation. Her words had hurt their egos far more than the katanas could have. After all, they were Saiyans, and Saiyans were no pushovers. However, they did know that if it wasn’t for the man in armor, Ginyu might have killed Mihoshi, and then they might have been next.
“Excuse me sir…” Ayeka spoke softly as she looked up at the foreigner curiously. When he turned around to face her, she continued to speak. “…I…I would like to thank you for what you did to help us.”
He nodded to her respectfully, “It was no trouble miss.”
“Um…might I ask something?” questioned the princess, sounding more curious than before. “Who are you? It’s obvious that you’re not from around here.”
The man pulled the part of his cape that covered his mouth away and then reached up to his helmet and began to take it off. As he did, more of his golden hair was exposed, and once the helmet was completely off, his blonde bangs fell in front of his eyes, but did not completely cover his blue eyes. He had closed his eyes before as he took off the helmet, but now, with his face exposed, they were now able to see his full appearance. His facial features were handsome, beautiful even. Though his face was beautiful, it was still as masculine as his voice was. Through the golden locks of hair, Ayeka noticed that he wore blue studded earrings, one on each ear that caught the reflection of the sun. Looking at nobody else but Ayeka, he replied, “My name is Nakago, I come from the land of Kutou.”
Ayeka almost missed the man telling her his name because she was so mesmerized by his appearance. ‘WOW!’ she cried mentally feeling her blush from before returning as she remembered that this obviously attractive man had been holding her in his arms only a few minutes ago. ‘He’s a beautiful blonde man!’
Nappa noticed the look on Ayeka’s face as soon as she saw the face of the man who was now introduced as Nakago. For some reason, her ogling seemed to get on his nerves. Unconsciously Nappa began to growl a little, and his eyebrow began to twitch as well. “Now wait just a minute!” the bald Saiyan shouted, pointing an accusing finger at Nakago. “Kuto is in Eastern China! You mean to tell us you’ve traveled all the way from China ta here!”
Several moments passed and Nakago only stared at Nappa before he completely ignored the other man and sheathed his sword. “You might want to move out of this area. Fiends will smell the blood of the Oni, and will come quickly.” Nakago then began to walk in the direction that the Ginyu Senshi had come from before the fighting began.
At first, Nappa watched as the young man left them before he scoffed, “Feh! Good riddance I say!” he stated more to himself than to his companions. Sheathing his own sword he then folded his arms over his chest and said in an authoritative tone, “Alright guys, let’s get a move on. Who knows when the Ginyu Senshi will pop up on us again so let’s get as far from this place as we can before they find us.”
“Uh…” Bulma began to say as she pointed to where Nakago had walked off in. “It looks like Ayeka is already two steps ahead of you…literally…”
“N-nani!” Nappa blurted before he snapped his head to see where Ayeka had been to find that she was no longer standing there. His eyes grew twice their size as he grew a sweat drop. “Where’d she…?” he began to ask until he noticed that Ayeka had been following the blonde man they had just met. Soon his brows narrowed into a scowl as he watched the princess trying to catch up to the other man.
Ayeka turned around to look at the others, “Well? What are you guys waiting for? Let’s go!” she shouted out to them as she waved a few times to catch their attention.
“Grrrrrr…WILL YA WAIT FOR US YA DAMN BAKA ONNA!” he yelled furiously stomping his foot several times and waving his arms around as if he was trying to fly.
“Heh,” Vegeta chuckled slightly amused by how fast Nappa lost his temper and forgot about his own pain momentarily. “Looks like someone’s grumpy today.”
XxXxXxXxXxX
After walking for almost an hour, our heroes, including the mysterious Nakago, arrived in a clearing where off in the distance, but not too far, was a beautiful waterfall with a small lake under it. They stopped near some large rocks that were randomly placed around. The sun was starting to set, so the sky began to change from clear blue to a hazy pinkish orange. Birds were chirping in the surrounding trees, and their various chirp blended in with the sound of the running water from the waterfall.
After they stopped to rest up a bit, they told Nakago the story of their journey from the beginning up to the point when he arrived. While they told their story, Nakago sat by silently and listened to them with an almost dry expression. “So…basically the reason why you are all here at all is because you, Nappa, bought the lady, Ayeka, from a brothel and found out that she was the kidnapped princess of Okayama. And now you are all trying to take her back to Okayama Castle without this Frieza person catching you?”
“Yeah!” replied Mihoshi cheerfully after sitting on a rock across from Nakago. “Wild huh?”
Smirking, Nakago responded, “Well I have heard more farfetched stories that were true.”
“So…Nakago?” Mihoshi began to question him first, “What brought you here all the way from China?”
Nappa growled in irritation, “You don’t even look Chinese, how do you expect us to believe that yer from Kuto?”
“Nappa!” Ayeka glared at the giant Saiyan while she continued to scold him for being rude. “Stop being so rude to Nakago-san! He probably saved our lives back there!” She then began to laugh nervously as she apologized to Nakago. “I am sorry about him Nakago-san. Nappa’s vocabulary doesn’t have the word, ‘manners’ in it.”
Nakago gave Nappa a smug smile before he replied to Ayeka, “Oh think nothing of it milady. My ethnic background might not be Chinese, but I was born in the land of Kuto.” Then he began to answer Mihoshi’s previous question. “I have always been curious about the world outside of my own, so I’ve just been traveling around since I was seventeen.”
“And how old are you now?” Ayeka asked with great interest, which didn’t seem to settle with Nappa too well since he growled softly after she asked her question. This won him another glare from the princess of Okayama.
“I’m twenty five now.” Nakago replied, resisting the urge to smirk more from the giant Saiyan’s irritated responses to his presence.
Mihoshi’s expression changed from her normally cheerful disposition to a sad sympathetic look. “Aw…you’ve been traveling alone for eight years? Don’t you get lonely?”
“No, not really.” The blonde man replied with no emotion in his tone, “Though things are not as…lively either.” He then looked back to Ayeka, “Lady Ayeka, may I ask you something?”
A little taken aback by his question, she replied, “Oh, of course you can. What is it?”
“If it’s not too much to ask, I would like to join you and your rescue party on your journey.” Nakago asked humbly. “It sounds as if you may need some more help in case more of this Frieza’s men come after you.”
“Of course!” the princess replied immediately.
“Hell no…” Nappa said at the same time Ayeka answered Nakago.
The two then exchanged glares, “Since when did you give the orders!” Ayeka questioned in a harsh tone.
“Since we started this ridiculous quest!” Nappa growled. “I’m the oldest, and the one who got you out of that brothel! I’ve saved yer ass a lot, so you better listen to what I say!”
Ayeka stood up and placed her hands on her hips, “Excuse me! Who was the one who saved me from the imp back there? It certainly wasn’t you! And this is MY rescue party! So I can say who can join and who can’t!” After Ayeka made her authoritative statements, the two had a long staring contest where both were growling a little in their throats. Everyone else watched them in silence; the only sounds in the air for a long time were the ones that came from the scenery around them.
Luckily, the awkward silence came to a halt when a loud growl came from Kakarrot’s stomach. Everyone’s attention turned to the goofy Saiyan as he rubbed his stomach and complained in a childish way. “I’m hungry…” Everyone, except Nakago, proceeded to fall over with their feet in the air at the strange way the heated moment was ruined.
Getting up from his rock, Nakago was the first to volunteer, “Well, it is getting close to the night. Perhaps I can find some fish in the lake where the water fall is.”
“I’ll…I’ll go with you!” Ayeka also volunteered enthusiastically after recovering from the shock of Kakarrot’s whine.
“Hey wait!” Nappa objected almost as fast as Ayeka had decided to help Nakago. “Another person should go with you two.” Muttering under his breath, he added, “There’s no way I’m letting that guy get Ayeka alone with him!”
“Heh heh…” Raditz chuckled with a knowing grin plastered on his face after seeing how Nappa reacted. “Then why don’t you go with them? We are also going to need fire wood.”
Ayeka looked a little upset by the thought of Nappa joining her and Nakago. “No no, we’ll be fine…”
“Oh I bet not!” retorted Nappa with a snort.
Bulma sighed and said to Ayeka, “Just let Nappa come with you guys. Vegeta needs to rest and I need to check to see what kind of damage Raditz took from that fight. It’s probably better to have three people together, who knows if those Ginyu Senshi are around, or any other kind of danger.”
“Yes, it would be wise to have Nappa come with us,” Nakago agreed before he added sounding sincere, “for the better of your safety Lady Ayeka. Don’t you agree?”
“Well I…” Ayeka began a little surprised, and also a little surprised that Nakago was worried about her safety. Trying her best not to blush, she accepted her defeat gracefully. “Fine.”
Nakago began to walk towards the lake with Ayeka not far behind him; Nappa chose to wait a little bit, glaring at Nakago’s back. It was then more than ever that he wished that looks could kill so the smug blonde man would keel over and Ayeka would stop swooning over him and wanting to follow him like a lost puppy. ‘When did I suddenly become the third wheel?’ he asked himself before he followed them.
XxXxX
It didn’t take long for the three to reach the lake and the waterfall. When they did get to take in the full view, Ayeka’s breath was taken away. The waterfall was at least a twenty-five foot one, with many pine trees surrounding the ledge before the waters flowed down. In the clear blue lake, there were small island patches of green grass that were growing in a few areas. The air was full of the smell of sweet grass and the clean water. It seemed as if fall was arriving a little late for this part of the forest that they were in. And just as they thought, there were many fish swimming in the lake, and due to how clear the water was, they were easy to spot.
“Oh, it’s so beautiful!” Ayeka declared as her eyes took in the wonderful sight before her.
“Yes it is…” Nakago agreed, though his eyes never left Ayeka. When the princess realized that he was staring at her, she felt herself blush a little and looked away shyly as her cheeks were tinted a light pink.
Nappa didn’t look all that amazed by the wonderful scenery as Ayeka was and decided to ruin the moment. “Aw common guys, it’s just a lake. We’re here for a reason, so let’s hurry up before the others complain.”
“Nappa’s right,” Nakago agreed with a nod, “the quicker with get this done, the less we have to worry about later. And we should cook this fish before it gets too dark and the nocturnal predators come out.” Nakago then began to take off his armor, which took a while since he had several parts of armor on his body, as well as some outer garments that were worn as layers. Once most of his armor was taken off, his clothes underneath were revealed to be a loose white shirt that was left open and showed off a good part of his chest and abs. The opening of his shirt stopped just about where his violet belt was. He wore a pair of very light lavender pants that were that hung over his blue boots. The sleeves of his shirt also hung over the bracers that matched his boots on his arms. His shirt was tucked into his pants and the violet belt that was wrapped around his waist held his clothing together.
After he was done, Ayeka couldn’t help but notice that even though Nakago did not have as big of muscles as the other Saiyans that she traveled with did, he still had definition. Nakago seemed a little less broad looking without his armor, though he was still very intimidating with his height and even though he didn’t look as physically strong as Nappa did, he still had the body of a man who had been trained for battle. Ayeka felt her pink blush darken more as she turned to look away embarrassed that she had been checking out the body of a man that she just barely met.
Nappa hadn’t failed to notice Ayeka’s behavior to seeing Nakago take off his armor. He chose to say no snide remark this time, but thought to himself about how childish she was acting. ‘Fer Kami’s sake, it’s not like he’s naked!’ he thought bitterly before Nakago’s deep voice interrupted him from thinking anything else.
“Nappa, maybe it would be wise if you went to gather some firewood while I get some fish for us.” The other man suggested with a strait face. “We could get our tasks done faster that way.” When Nappa was about to protest against him, Nakago added, “If you are worried about Lady Ayeka, don’t be. I’ll look after her, she’ll be in good hands, I promise.”
“Yeah I’m sure you’ll look after her…” Nappa muttered in a bitter tone under his breath yet again. Not bothering to make it official that he was looking for firewood, he began to head towards an area that was crowded by trees and was soon out of the other two’s sights. “I can take a freakin’ hint already! Fine, if she wants to be alone with that guy she just met less than two hours ago then let her!” The giant Saiyan asked himself out loud as he looked around for some large branches that might have been on the ground from previous travelers. “What should I care anyways! All I gotta do is return her in one piece, if her virginity ain’t in tact then that ain’t my fault! I ain’t her damn father! If I was, I wouldn’t be here ranting to myself! I’d be passing laws to make it legal to torture a little demon named Frieza!”
He then found himself in a secluded clearing in which the trees circled around as if they were acting as walls to cut this area from the rest of the forest. Getting off task now, Nappa started to pace around a bit while debating with himself as if he needed to prove his own point to himself. “Well, okay maybe I would care a little cause I’ve spent too much time and GAH! She’s started to rub off on me!”
Clutching his bald head with both hands he felt as if he was going temporarily insane, and talking to himself was not helping him feel any closer to whatever was left of his sanity. Why was he feeling so…strange? He wasn’t sure what this emotion was that he felt when he saw the looks that were exchanged by Nakago and Ayeka. He felt fine a while ago, it was just another day on their strange escapade, and suddenly this other man showed up from out of the blue and seemed to steal all of Ayeka’s attention. Wait…did this mean that he was feeling jealous? He felt jealousy before, but it was a long time ago when he was a child and he would see other kids his age walk by with their parents. But this feeling was stronger, and different from that type of jealousy, but why? Why would he feel jealous that Ayeka would be more interested in Nakago? It was obvious why she would be so captivated by him; even Kakarrot could figure that out! Err…maybe he was overestimating Kakarrot…well, he himself wasn’t that bright either, but he himself knew the answer.
Nappa didn’t know why he was suddenly thinking so much on such things that didn’t seem so important until now. Then again, before Nakago wasn’t with them. Even though Nakago hadn’t been with them for very long, Nappa wanted to get rid of him. There was something about him that he hated, aside from the smug smirks and the way he would insult him with a calm and impassive tone that held a bit of arrogance as well. This something seemed to irritate him to the edge of his sanity.
After a while of pacing and shaking his head in disbelief over these feelings, Nappa finally let out a frustrated growl from deep in his chest and shouted to the sky, “DAMN IT! I CAN’T STAND THAT GUY!” Balling his fist, he turned to a tree that was next to him and proceeded to punch the trunk as hard as he could in hopes to release this frustration. A minute passed by as Nappa kept his pose with his fist against the rough bark of the tree. He could already see an indentation from the impact and felt a little satisfied with that. Sighing in relief, Nappa hung his head, until the a creaking and crackling sound filled the air as a warning sign of a tree that was about to fall caused his head to snap back into an upright position. Another minute passed, and neither the Saiyan nor the tree moved an inch; the dark eyes of the Saiyan were slightly wide out of surprise that he put enough force into his punch to almost knock down a tree. A deep sigh escaped his mouth when he thought that it was a false alarm, but Nappa was proven wrong when suddenly the tree fell back making a very loud crash.
The bald Saiyan grew a very large sweat drop after a long pause of silence and just stared at the fallen tree for several minutes until a familiar voice asked him, “You think that will be enough wood to last us the night Nappa?”
Having been caught off guard, Nappa nearly jumped up five feet in the air when he heard the other voice. Turning to his left, he saw the trademark smirk on Vegeta’s face, which looked a little funny on him now because of the several bandages on his body and one square bandage patch on his right side of his face. “V-Vegeta,” Nappa stuttered a bit trying to think of something to say and then realized something that seemed out of place. “I didn’t know you got a cut on your face from that fight with Jeice.”
A soft growl of annoyance came from the shorter Saiyan as he took the square patch off his cheek and explained its reason for being there. “I didn’t. I told that darn Miko not to put that on my face!” he then muttered something about Bulma being wrong about looking cute when he was almost a walking mummy now.
“Well…wanna help me by carrying the wood that I chop back to the others?” Nappa suggested with a shrug and got his sword out and began to cut part of the tree into logs for a fire.
“I guess…” Vegeta grumbled, since he really didn’t want to do work since his body still ached but he didn’t complain about it like a baby would. Taking a seat on the stump where the tree had once been, he watched Nappa chopping and then asked a slightly random question of his elder. “So you’re jealous of that Nakago?”
Nappa had just positioned his sword above his head and was about to bring it down when Vegeta asked his question. Just as he started to bring the blade down, he suddenly stopped, as if the question had the power to freeze his entire body. His thick black brow began to twitch while a vein on his forehead started to throb. Vegeta was taken aback when Nappa started to turn his head to face him very slowly. And if the obvious agitation his body displayed and the very big sword in his hands didn’t freak Vegeta out even a little, then the forced smile on Nappa’s face did.
“Lemme say this loud and clear…” Nappa began in a soft tone, speaking in a precise way that was out of his nature before he shouted at the top of his lungs. “I AM NOT JEALOUS!”
Vegeta felt a drop of sweat roll down the side of his face after hearing Nappa’s response. Giving his sword a nervous glance, he remembered how Nappa chased Raditz for hours with it last time he was angry. Vegeta decided he had been on the receiving end of a sword enough for one day, so he chose his words carefully. “O…kay…whatever you say Nappa. Just watch where you wave that Ki Sword.”
XxXxXBack at the lake, Ayeka was fuming over how rude Nappa had been today, especially towards Nakago. “Oh! I can’t believe how Nappa is behaving today!” she complained to herself as she paced around while Nakago was gathering fish.
“It’s alright Lady Ayeka, you shouldn’t mind what he does.” Nakago told her tonelessly.
A disgusted sigh from the very thought of how horrible the Saiyan’s attitude was escaped the princess. “No it’s not alright! I can’t believe he was trying to order me around! He’s lucky that I’m not considering punishing him when I am returned home!” she spat, though she didn’t mean it. It was just something she was thinking in the heat of the moment. “He always does something to start an argument between us!”
Catching the last fish they needed, Nakago began to walk back to the edge of the lake and pulled himself out. “You know Lady Ayeka, they say that those who fight with each other a lot really care deeply for one another.” Casting her an almost sly smile, he added, “In fact, a lot of the most intimate lovers fight as much as the two of you.” The blonde man intentionally emphasized on the word ‘intimate’ purposefully.
Ayeka immediately grew pale at the thought of her and Nappa being ‘intimate’ together about anything. “Me! And NAPPA!” she practically shrieked. Shaking her head vigorously and waving her hands in front of her she denied his claims as quickly as possible. “No, no, no! There’s no way! Never Nakago! Not even if he was the last thing alive would I ever want to be with him on any kind of level like that!” Another blush of embarrassment appeared on her face and burned a bright red.
“Heh,” a slightly amused chuckle came from Nakago as the side of his mouth curled into a little grin. “Really?” he asked, sounding a bit skeptical at first, before he added with a charming smile. “Well I’m glad to hear that from you Lady Ayeka.”
“Huh?” Ayeka was a little surprised by Nakago’s comment, and his smile only made her blush spread and grow a deeper shade of red. ‘What does that make him glad?’ she wondered, though many theories filled her head and she felt her face grow more hot and she felt as if she might have looked even more foolish to the handsome young man who stood before her; still smiling at her. His icy blue eyes were focused on nothing else but her for what seemed to be an eternity. Their eye contact was broken when a high-pitched scream broke the peaceful atmosphere of the forest. Ayeka looked over to where they left Bulma, Mihoshi, Raditz and Vegeta, which was also the same place where the scream came from. Turning to look Nakago in the eyes once more she asked him, “Do you think something happened to them!” her voice was filled with concern and her eyes looked glossy in a worried way. Without staying around to hear what he had to say, she darted back to where her four travel companions were, praying to the gods that nothing bad had happened to them.
Cold, emotionless blue eyes watched Ayeka run back to their resting spot in the same way a hawk would watch a mouse scurry away. Nakago was in no hurry to rush to the aide of the other travelers who were with Ayeka. For several long moments he stood there, before a cunning smirk appeared on his face. “Has no feelings for him at all?” he asked himself, though it was more of a statement of a fact. “Perhaps there is more to this than she is willing to admit. It makes no difference though. If I stick around, I’m sure I can make things...interesting…” He then gathered the fish he caught in a small net that Ayeka had brought back when he first started to fish.
XxXxXxXxXxXxXxX
Once Ayeka came back to the spot where the others were waiting, she gasped and placed her hands on her face. Her wine colored eyes were wide with shock as her pupils shrank in horror. Her mouth was left agape as she stood there for several moments. Raditz had fresh new wounds and his arms and hands were covered in small streams of blood. He held his katana in his hands, standing in a fighting position. “Raditz what happened!” the princess cried out to him, looking around for Vegeta after realizing that she couldn’t see him. She then noticed that Bulma and Mihoshi stood at a safe distance away from where Raditz was.
“T-there’s a…a demon!” Bulma stuttered in fear while she stayed close to the female Samurai. “He just came out of no where and started to attack Raditz!”
Mihoshi kept her hand to the hilt of her katana and was looking around the area for something. “He just backed off from Raditz just now. We don’t know where he went off to, but he can’t be too far away! He was accompanied by that toad thing that tried to capture you before Ayeka!”
“I AM NOT A TOAD!” a shrill voice cried out in protest. Standing several yards away from the group of allies was the Imp from before. He was holding his staff with two heads in his right hand and gave Mihoshi a death glare. “I’m an Imp! AN IMP! And don’t insult milord by addressing him merely as a demon!”
“Who are you!” Ayeka demanded, matching the Imp’s glare with one of her own. “What do you want from us!”
With a menacing laugh, the Imp replied, “I am Jaken, servant of milord, the Demon Lord of Kyoto!”
Blinking, Ayeka repeated in wonder, “Kyoto? But that’s in the Western part of the country. What’s someone who rules Kyoto doing out here?”
“You can ask milord yourself.” Jaken replied as another figure stepped out from the shadows of the trees.
Indeed he had to have been of some noble blood, since he was dressed so nicely. His shirt had very long wide sleeves that were white with red on the bottom of his sleeves and his left shoulder. There were also honeycomb shapes with flowers on the inside designed on these parts with red. His pants looked oversized, the same style that a lot of nobles wore in Japan. They came down to his ankles where his feet were clad with black ankle boots that were of a Youkai design. His armor was of the Inu Yokai clan, and wrapped around his waist was a wide yellow obi with dark blue designs on it. To his left side there was a sheathed sword, and in his right hand was a sword of a different shape than that of a katana, it looked very similar to a Tai Chi sword, only it was wider. Draped over his right arm was a white fur pelt, which seemed a little out of place. The demon lord stood at a height of five feet, ten inches, and had unique magenta markings on both of his cheeks and in the middle of his forehead was a blue crescent moon. His eyes were a beautiful, but deadly Youkai gold, and his long strait hair that cascaded down his back and probably ended around the back his knees was a beautiful silver color. He had a very beautiful face as well, with elegant features, though his manly wrists and hands gave indication that he was indeed a male.
“Where is the Saiyan that wields the Ki Sword?” The golden-eyed demon lord questioned. His voice was smooth and calm, like a flowing river, making him more intimidating and majestic at the same time.
“That’d be me!” another voice addressed the demon. It was Nappa, and Vegeta was by his side, much to Ayeka’s relief. He placed his hand on the hilt of his Ki Sword and asked the Youkai, “Who wants ta know?”
Glancing at Nappa with indifference, the Youkai turned his body so that he could face the Saiyan he had been looking for. “I am known as the Demon Lord of Kyoto, The Killing Perfection, Sesshoumaru.” He replied in a calm and dignified manor. He then pointed his sword strait at Nappa and added, “I am also your assassin.”
