A.N.: This may seem a bit awkward, as I kind of made this a Zelda/Redwall Fanfic. Link, the main character from Zelda, stumbles into Redwall in his search for Navi. Fans of both Zelda and Redwall should enjoy.

Prologue: Two Legends

Hyrule, a land created by the three golden goddesses, was enveloped by a great evil. When all hope seemed lost, and the people’s prayers for deliverance, unanswered, a new hope was born in the form of a boy who’s name was Link.

The boy collected the three spiritual stones to open the door of time, the doorway to the Sacred Realm. This boy, a Hylian, was followed by the evil man Ganondorf when he opened the door to the sacred realm, which was what Link had been trying to prevent. So the sages locked the hero into a sleep that lasted for seven long years.

At seventeen years of age, the young man awoke to learn that the land had been consumed by the evil of the man Ganondorf who now ruled the land. In order to save the land, Link decided to awaken the sages and collect the medallions in order to save the world.

But his followers were left untouched...

Long ago, in a land near Mossflower, before Redwall was even built, an evil tyrant held the land in an iron-pawed grip. A young mouse named Martin raised a rebellion against the tyrant, and they won, but it was not an easy fight.

The young mouse journeyed to Mossflower to find peaceful creatures being ruled by yet another evil tyrant. The creatures all took up their weapons and banned together, and as one, they beat the evil ruler and his followers. On top of the fortress’s sunken walls, they built a wonderful abbey, constructed from the red sandstone of a nearby quarry.

The land suffered many attempts for absolute power over the peaceable creatures, but when their land was threatened, they proved strong and true enough to fight. Now, during another peaceful era, new trouble stirs, and a stranger enters their land...
