The lead vampire smiled, pleased with himself: the idea of taking over a packed office block just after dusk during a Christmas Eve party had been inspired, and they had more than enough humans for the Bloodright.

He pulled the radio form his pocket, thankful that he'd convinced the others to get with the 21st Century, "Carl, this is Hans, report." He held the radio, and then heard the elevator chime.

The doors opened to reveal a chair covered in dust with a Santa hat on top. A piece of card had been leant against the back, "Ho-ho-ho, now I have a crossbow!"
