Betrayal

"Harry, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry," Ron whispered.

Harry stared at Ron, disdain evident in his features.

"I know you're sorry," he said in a voice laced with pain and anger.
"But you can never be sorry enough. I will never EVER forgive you for as long as I live."

Ron sank into a sitting position on the sofa. He rested his head in his hands.

"I'm sorry Harry. You have every right to be angry. I don't blame you," he whispered.

Harry's face contorted. Tears glistened in his green eyes and he blinked rapidly to keep them from falling.

"I loved you Ron. If you really felt the same you wouldn't have cheated," he whispered.

"It was a mistake. I know that now. I shouldn't have had so much to drink. I shouldn't have brought him here, I shouldn't have let him kiss me, shouldn't have let him touch me," Ron moaned.

Tears appeared in his own eyes, spilling over and down his freckled cheeks. Harry stood with his arms folded, a mixture of pity, pain, and anger flashing across his face.

"You're right. You should have thought twice before sticking your dick in someone else Ron," he said.

He turned away and picked up his trunk.

"No! Harry wait!"Ron cried, springing up from his place on the sofa.

Harry dragged his trunk over to the fireplace. Ron caught up to him and grabbed him by the sleeve.

"Please don't go Harry! Take me back! I won't do it again, I swear! I promise. Let me have another chance!" Ron pleaded.

Harry disengaged the sleeve of his robe from Ron's hand. He took a hand ful of floo powder from the pot over the fireplace and tossed it in. Green flames roared grabbed Harry by the shoulders.

"Harry, won't you please forgive me? Just give me one more chance," he whispered desperatly.

Tears spilled down Harry's cheeks. Ron attempted to wipe them away but Harry turned his head.

"You had your chance," he said sadly.

He hoisted his trunk into the fireplace and stood it on end in the warm green flames.

"Harry, just think about this. Don't go. We'll work it out. We'll make things right," Ron whimpered.

He was desperate for Harry to stay and was obviously not going to let him go without a fight.

"I don't want to think about it Ron. You betrayed me, you broke my trust in you. I don't want to be around you anymore," Harry said.

He wiped tears away with his sleeve.

"What do I have to do to get you to forgive me?" Ron asked.

"There's nothing you can do, unless you can turn back time," Harry snapped.

He stepped into the bright green flames.

"Goodbye Ron," he said.

Ron let out a panicked sob but it was too late. Harry yelled the address of Hermione's house and was gone. Ron quickly grabbed the cup of floo powder from the shelf, intending to go after Harry but it was empty. Harry had used the last of it. Ron sank to the floor and began to sob.
