That's all Lily knew, and soon she would be next. She ran into the nursery and picked up Harry. Harry was looking at her very worried, he had never seen his mother like this before, and he soon was starting to cry.

"Shh. Don't cry love, Mummy's here, Mummy has you. Mummy loves you" Lily cooed to her son. Lily took out her wand and locked the door and tried to protect her self and her son for as long as possible. She knew that he was outside the door.

Spells could be heard outside the door, they he was almost there.

Lily sang Harry his favorite lullaby. Tears were silently coming down his face, as were hers. She knew that he knew what was going on. The look on his face looked like he wanted to say something, but he couldn't.

Lily remembered Harry's First Christmas.

Everyone came over for Christmas dinner, Sirius, Remus, Dumbledore, and the secret keeper, the one who betrayed her and James, Peter Pettigrew.

Lily spat at the thought of him.

This was the day Harry showed his first sign of magic.

Harry had gotten a plastic model of a dragon and he was playing with it, when all of a sudden it started to fly around the room (this toy dragon was muggle made so it didn't fly at first.).

The door had swung open with a blast of light and smoke.

Lily stood up and tried to plea with Voldemort.

"Stand aside you silly girl!"

"Not Harry! Please not Harry!"

"Move aside woman!"

"No! Please no not Harry! Take me instead!"

"Fine" and with that Voldemort raised his wand.

Closing your eyes to disappear

You pray your dreams will leave you here

But still you wake and know the truth

No one's there

Lily's mind went blank. She could not get out of the way, the only thing that she could

See was Harry just as he said his first word

"MUMY!"

Lily looked at her son. All that she could think of was of how happy she was at that moment, and how pissed James would be because he missed this.

Then all of a sudden her world came back together, just as it was about to fall down again.
