Must Have You, Inuyasha!
As he walked out the door, something like a drop of water dropped down silently on the floor…and the doors were closed, leaving Inuyasha alone, whimpering and sobbing.
Sesshomaru dried and wiped his face from his tears, hearing soft footsteps running towards him. 'Rin…' It wasn't long before the girl spotted him in the quiet hallways.
"Ah, Lord Sesshomaru!" Rin smiled brightly and ran towards the demon, giggling away happily.
"What is it, Rin?" He looked down at the young child.
"Look! Rin brought some flowers from the garden; they're so pretty. Rin wants you to have them and be happy! Lord Sesshomaru hasn't been talking very much and Rin is sad." She frowned and offered the flowers to him, trying to smile.
Sesshomaru starred at Rin for a moment and then looked at the flowers.
"The flowers, they will eventually die. They will wither away, just like everything else. There is no need in keeping them. I am fine, Rin. Don't be sad." Sesshomaru starred at the innocent girl, her eyes on the verge of tears. She starred back then, nodding slightly, she ran out to the garden again, but bumped into Jaken.
"Oof." Rin fell down backwards and the flowers flew up, scattering around the small body as they fell down to the cold ground. Sesshomaru starred at them both.
"Watch where you're going, you human!" Jaken grumbled and tried to stand up.
"I-I'm sorry, Lord Jaken. Let me help you!" She stood up and ran over to help Jaken up off the floor.
"I don't need your help!" He pushed Rin away and stood up, finally, with the help of the staff.
"Jaken." Sesshomaru appeared from behind, glaring at the toad-like demon.
"L-Lord Sesshomaru!" Jaken sputtered and ran up next to stronger demon.
"Go out to the front gate. I don't want you in the castle. Guard it and if anything happens, you'll report to me. Understood?" Sesshomaru commanded as he walked away slowly, his eyes non-moving.
"B-but, Lord Sesshomaru! What about Rin?" Jaken yelled after his master. Sesshomaru continued walking, his mind only thinking to go to a special room.
"Don't worry, Lord Jaken, I'll keep you company and go out to the gate with you!" She smiled and picked up the flowers and petals that were scattered. She noticed that the red rose that she had picked up wasn't on the ground with the other flowers, but walked away, following Jaken and his angry grumbling.
Sesshomaru walked in front of a two-door entrance and starred at the carvings of the door. Raising his right hand, he touched the picture of the demon-like face growling at the person who was looking back at it. With his seeming horrifying features, it must have been carved there to scare others away. But of course, Sesshomaru didn't budge at all. He looked away from the carving and used his right hand to push open the wooden doors.
Inside, Sesshomaru walked to one of the springs. Stripping his clothes slowly, he brought his left hand over the spring. A red rose sat on his palm. He looked as he crushed the flower, breaking it into small petals and dropped it into the water. He sighed and closed his eyes. His legs moved and his feet walked forward, into the pool of warm water. Immediately, as his toes touched the water, the water turned bloody red and the petals that were once on the top of the water, had now disappeared.
His whole body was in the water, only allowing his head and the tips of his slim shoulders were above the crimson water. His eyes reopened and starred off into space.
"Inuyasha… I need you, I want you… But I refuse to believe that we may ever go back to how it use to be… Have you no idea what you have done?" He whispered softly and looked into the past.
Flashback.
"Brother! Big brother, look what I've found!" Inuyasha ran towards Sesshomaru, his features grinning as though it was the happiest moment of his young life.
"What is it, Inu?" Sesshomaru stopped licking his hand and glanced towards his little brother.
"A flower, silly. Look, it's so pretty… Don't you think so, Sesshy?" Inuyasha brought his hands from behind his back and showed Sesshomaru a sakura blossom. It looked newly bloomed and gleamed in the sunlight.
"That's a fully bloomed cherry blossom. Did you get it from mother's garden?" Sesshomaru patted his little brother's small head and smiled a small smile.
"Yes, I found it near one of the trees that you always sat in. It was a small tree though, almost as big as me!" He giggled and felt the soft petals of the bud. Sesshomaru starred at the young half-demon, his eyes filled with passion.
Grasping Inu's small chin, he forced Inuyasha to stare him in his eyes. Inu immediately stopped giggling and gasped, his round golden orbs twinkled in the sun, his hands letting go of the blossom.
"Inuyasha, little brother…" Sesshomaru starred lovingly, "Do you love me?"
Inuyasha suddenly smiled brightly and hugged Sesshomaru tight.
"I do, I do love you, Brother. I love you more than you know." He loosened his grip as his older brother knelt down to his level.
Sesshomaru starred into his brother's eyes as if breaking into his soul, trying to seek if what he said had been true. His hand came up and held Inu's pale cheek, his lips smiling slightly.
"I'm glad, Inuyasha. For I love you as well, little brother." He said this softly, so soft like a whisper and his lips suddenly touched Inu's warm lips. He began nibbling on his lower lip, seeing as though he wasn't rejecting or moving at all.
Inuyasha giggled slightly and gladly opened his mouth, letting his brother's tongue explore his warm craven. His hands gradually moved to rest on Sesshomaru's shoulders, wrapping themselves around his lithe neck. As soon as it had started, it had ended. Inuyasha smiled gently and pecked a light kiss on his older brother's wet lips.
"You taste so sweet, Sesshy. I love how you taste when you do that." He let go of his brother's neck and looked as he stood up slowly.
"You taste like sweet nectar to me, you smell like cherry blossoms, and you are beautiful. I taste you as my own, for you are mine forever." Sesshomaru said so as his right hand brushed swiftly and gently against his younger brother's soft cheek. He began walking towards the castle doors that would lead them out of the gardens and into the huge hallways of the large palace, Inuyasha running bare-footed behind him, laughing and giggling away.
End Flashback.
End Chapter #6.
XD I hope you liked the chapter. I loved re-reading this, especially the flashback. It seemed so sweet. And for once, you readers didn't have to suffer through another cliffhanger! Well, anyways. I hope you liked the chapter and the story so far. I'll continue to write this story to the end, but the updates will become more frequent if you continue to support my rather slow hand and me.
Again, thank-you all for reading and for the wonderful reviews.
