'A Land Down Under'
by mermaid2bseeker
A spoof of 'I Come From A Land Down Under' by Men At Work.
About Stargate Atlantis, as sung by Major John Sheppard.
Secret project under lock and key
To a city buried beneath the sea
I met a strange lady, she made me nervous
She wanted to eat me as breakfast
And she thought

Do you come from a land down under?
Where waves to blow and men wonder
Can't you hear? Can't you hear the thunder?
You better run. You better take cover.

Drinking tea with Athosian leader
She was five foot and one centimenter
I said do you speak-a my language
She just smiled and showed me a painting-filled cave niche And I said

I come from a land down under
Where waves do blow and men wonder
Can't you hear? Can't you hear the thunder?
You better run. You better take cover.

McKay thinks he's a know-it-all
Teyla was taught how to play football
Ford is such a goof off, Beckett's scare of his shadow
All I wanted was a turkey sandwich
And we sing

We don't all come from a land down under (just Aussies)
Where women glow and men plunder
Can't you hear? Can't you hear the thunder?
You better run. You better take cover.

A/N:
I know some parts of it don't actually rhyme, and I think I got Teyla's height wrong. Oh, well. Please review, and check out the other Stargate things I've written.
