Cheers for the lovely reviews I've got for my other slash drabbles. I was worried, since romanic ain't the best thing I can write about (not something I know about, really).

Well this is a Frodo/Sam, instead of Merry/Pippin. Was a M/P, then I wrote 'we're... unnatural' and it had to be Sam. F/S ain't my favourite pairing, but it's a second favourite.

Maybe we are different. Maybe most of the Shire thinks we're... unnatural. Maybe I'll forever be an outcast, hated by those closted to me.

But watching you sleep, as the sun rises or by moonlight, makes it worthwhile.

Because who else has watched you struggle with something as simple as planting a seed, when you can master Elvish so easily?

Who else has heard you whisper "I love you," in their ear as they woke up?

Who else has seen you smile for no reason and known that you're thinking of them?
