I'm so sick of . . .

I'm so sick of . . .

living in a life of illusions,

behind this mask of misconception.

I'm so sick of . . .

my frustrations,

of always being clouded in utter confusion,

always striving for unattainable perfection.

I'm so sick of . . .

never meeting father's expectations,

always waiting for his validation.

I'm so sick of . . .

staring into a haunted, soulless reflection,

all because of his organization.

this utterly hopeless situation,

of always and forever in this seclusion

and never reaching my salvation.

I'm so sick of . . .

always being in a state of isolation,

never reaching my destination,

that I rather go in the business of prostitution.

You're probably so sick of . . .

my objections,

you want to send me to a mental institution.

But do you know who I really am sick of . . .

you and your demanding anticipation–

you and your sick fascination–

you and your sick idealization–

of unattainable perfection.
