SA: OH MY GOD! IT’S FINISHED! Good Trigon, that took me forever! I’m SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sorry! Please try to forgive me!!
Anyway, here it is, the final chapter of Raven’s Rain. I hope you enjoyed it!
Trigon was still sitting on his massive throne that he had created from Titans Tower, resting so his powers would be at full power again so he could suck earth and it’s entire dimension back into his own, ultimately destroying it.
The demonic, possessed Raven hovered next to her father’s massive head, awaiting her father to awake from his sleep so they could destroy the earth together.
With the Titans incapacitated and unable to act, now was the time. She let out a sadistic smile. She never understood how she could have been so weak before. To love some weak mortal human!
Just as Trigon began to stir awake and just as the earth was about to face its last hour, a shining light appeared in the northern sky of what was left of Jump City. All of the remaining Titans who were trapped in Trigon’s bubbles stared in awe.
Two floating figures appeared out of the light, which died around them, as if they were so powerful, they could command the light itself.
It was then that the Titans realized who the two figures were!
“Robin!” Starfire cried in joy.
“Raven!” Beast Boy and Cyborg cried in unison and happiness.
“But something is different about our friend!” Starfire exclaimed.
“You’re right. She’s wearing all white!” Beast Boy commented.
“That’s weird!” Cyborg exclaimed.
“Trigon! Come out and face us!” Robin cried, still holding Raven’s hand.
Raven’s evil, crimson form smirked evilly and drifted over to Raven and Robin. The pure and the evil were staring each other in the face.
“Trigon will take over the world. There is nothing you can do to stop him! Pure Raven, you are nothing compared to your own darkness!” the evil Raven yelled as she shot a death stare from her top two yellow eyes.
The yellow beam shot towards Pure Raven, but the sparkling white energy shield around the two lovers prevented the attack from leaving even a scratch.
“Look! I don’t care who you are or where you came from! You’re not me!” the real Raven cried out. “I will defeat Trigon and keep him from destroying earth. Just you watch me!” Raven cried, shooting her own beam of energy powers at the crimson-skinned evil Raven. She screamed the second the beam made contact with her crimson stained skin and she tumbled backwards.
“Where is my father!” Raven demanded in irritation.
Evil Raven sat up, a trickle of blood visible from a split in her lip from the impact with the ground. “Fine. You win this round. But you will never defeat Trigon the Terrible!”
Pure Raven harrumphed. “Whatever.”
Raven and Robin followed the evil Raven right back to Titans Tower. “Robin, you need to free the others while I fight Trigon,” Raven said.
Robin nodded, and Raven let him down. “Hey!” the evil Raven cried as Robin began freeing the imprisoned Titans. “Titans, GO!” Robin screamed. A battle was sure to begin.
Meanwhile, Raven hovered up next to her father. “Trigon! You will not destroy the only things that I care about! You may have destroyed Azarath, but I will not allow you to do the same to earth! This ends, here, and now!” Raven called out, posing in a fighting stance.
Trigon opened his eyes. “You dare to challenge me?” he asked.
“Yes,” Raven said, her voice equally scary. She raised her hand towards the heavens. “Arella, my mother, Azar, my mentor, and Azar the one who taught us the truth. Give me the strength to defeat Trigon the Terrible once and for all!” she cried.
As if on cue, Raven’s prayer was answered. The sky turned from Trigon’s evil crimson red to a white as pure as life was at the beginning of time.
“This is for everything you did to me, my real family, and the Teen Titans, my only true friends!” she cried. All of the power of good in the universe, along with the very emotions of Raven that Trigon had tried to destroy. Indeed, all seven of Raven’s personalities were circling around her, just as they had before. But a new one was there. An eighth emotion that Raven had never seen before. The Raven in the swirling silver cloak had the sweetest look on her face. And Raven knew instantly what she represented. A new side of Raven’s personality that she had never discovered until now. Love. The emotion was love.
With Trigon screaming in pain and dissolving into the light for the final time, evil Raven along with him, Raven fell from the sky. Plummeting to earth like a wounded bird to be caught by the person who had made this victory possible.
Robin held Raven as they both fell from the sky to land in the field in Jump City Park that the Titans had played football many times on before now.
“Is he gone?” Robin asked as he kissed Raven, the endless light still encasing the earth.
Raven smiled as she returned the kiss. “Yes. And now, I can no longer fear to love. I can finally say what I’ve been wanting to say from the beginning. Robin, I love you.”
And at that moment, the light vanished, allowing the sky to settle into twilight blackness once more, endless stars twinkling in the heavens.
As Raven kissed Robin, the dark sky was pierced apart by countless arrows of white light; the souls of the departed people of Azarath that began to restore the earth to its former glory, undoing all that Trigon had done.
It looked almost like...
Rain.
SA: Well, I hoped you liked the ending. I kinda took it from the Wolf’s Rain Manga. Sorry, but I thought that it would work really well. Remember, I don’t own Teen Titans (or Wolf’s Rain). Please R&R! See ya next time!
