Rin Lies

-Rin is fifteen in this fic, and which means in feudal Japan she would be considered an woman able to marry, aka adult.-

Chapter One: Punishment

“Do you remember what I said would happen if you lied again Rin?”

“Hai Sesshoumaru-sama,” Rin looked at the ground afraid of her Sesshoumaru-sama.

“Come here Rin.” Sesshoumaru said. Rin whimpered, took a step back, shaking her head, and cried out, “But Sesshoumaru-sama I will not lie again.”

“No Rin your punishment is justly earned, come here.”

Rin walked up to Sesshoumaru frightened. He stood up from his chair and pulled her by her hand into his private quarters, where he knew no one would come in. Sesshoumaru set down in a chair and put Rin over his knee. Rin was ashamed that her Master had to punish her for her disobedience. She remembered the last time she had lied to her Master and the warning that came with it.

-Flashback-

Rin ran away from Jaken’s sight and hid in a tree for about an hour, she knew Sesshoumaru-sama would be upset with her for leaving without permission. So she went back to camp, and there was Jaken telling Sesshoumaru-sama which way she had gone.

“Here I am Sesshoumaru-sama,” looking at Jaken and getting an idea to get out of trouble from her Sesshoumaru-sama, “Jaken tried to leave me.” Sesshoumaru for a moment just looked at Rin disbelieving.

“My Lord I…did not leave Rin-san alone she left my sight and I could not find her me Lord.”

“Quiet Jaken,” he looked at Rin and raised an eyebrow, “Rin why are you lying? Jaken did not leave you there alone.”

“Yes he did Sesshoumaru-sama,” Rin started crying and throwing a fit. He looked at Jaken for a moment, they had never witness the tantrum of a human child; with Inuyasha he just bit and snarled. Sesshoumaru was caught by surprised when Rin started hitting him with her little fists, angry tears streaming down her cheeks.

“Rin stop it,” Sesshoumaru said getting very annoyed. Rin stopped hitting him and looked at him fearfully, “Rin remember this,” he reached down and forced her eyes to meet his, “If you lie to me again I will punish you.”

“Punish Rin Sesshoumaru-sama?” Rin nodded and cleaned her face.

-End of flashback-

Sesshoumaru put Rin over his knee, and spanked her four times. Rin was crying slightly and whimpered the last time her Master hit her.

Sesshoumaru heard the whimper, and smelt salty water, Rin was crying. Sesshoumaru frowned, but spoke without sympathy.

“That was the extent for your punishment, this morning for lying, but I believe you have earned an extension, for not coming when you were told.” Sesshoumaru heard her whimper as his hand hit her six more times. Rin cried out loud, “I’m sorry Sesshoumaru-sama, I wont lie to you again, I’m sorry.”

Sesshoumaru let Rin up, “You are to stay in your room for the rest of the day. Do you understand Rin?”

“Hai master, Gomen Nasai Master I will not lie to you again,” Rin said again looked at the ground.

“Rin?” Sesshoumaru said, Rin looked up, saw his disapproving look, and looked down again.

“Hai, Master,” Rin kept her face toward the ground. Sesshoumaru’s heart skipped a beat when he smelled a familiar musk, coming from the young woman. Young woman…yes Rin was of age now…but…

“Sesshoumaru one day you will know that a human has more power then we could ever possess.’

“Rin, Come here,” Sesshoumaru was still sitting his chair; Rin looked worried, “No Rin your not in trouble, Come here.” Rin stood up, walked up to Sesshoumaru, her eyes wide, and frighten, “Rin do you ever feel an ache about right here?” Sesshoumaru pulled Rin closer to him and gently laid his hand on her lower stomach, she nodded again.

“Is something wrong with me Sesshoumaru-sama?” Rin lowered her head, ashamed.

“No Rin,” he thought for a moment, “Would you like me to take this ache away?” Sesshoumaru watched Rin while she considered this.

“Hai Master onegai, take the ache away,” she leaned against Sesshoumaru’s chest, “It aches right now, but I do not know why.”

“I will take this ache away.” Sesshoumaru stood up with Rin in his arms and walked toward his bedchamber.
