Author's Notes: I wrote this because I liked the film, and because if we're not careful we will make this planet uninhabitable. Thank you for reading, and I hope that you enjoy this poem. Read, review and enjoy.

Disclaimer: I do not own The Day After Tomorrow.

If Tomorrow Never Comes

Blowing in the wind, trucks and tractors fly
Melting ice caps—fossil fuels gone, though few know why
It's flooding in New York, freezing in Canadian plains
Japan and India are being barraged with torrential rain
The coldest winter ever kills with no discrimination
Steal, loot, plunder there's too much temptation
Who'd have thought the end would be man made
Tomorrow is almost here, can we still be saved
The days after tomorrow will surely come
They have already arrived, and now we'll be undone
Protect our world, the fragility of this place
Rather than signaling the end of the human race
