Beauty and the Beast
By Neutron Phantom
Authors Note: This is my version of the dance scene. Enjoy!
Barely even friends, then somebody bends unexpectedly
Her brown eyes are so beautiful. Her enchanting yellow gown really brings them out. If it weren't for this god forsaken curse, she could see the real me! But the real me is a coward. A damn selfish coward! She would never love me like I love her.
One two three, one two three, I count silently as we dance along to keep the beat. Her dainty steps are nothing compared to my beastly stomps.
Just a little change, small to say the least
Both a little scared, neither one prepared, Beauty and the Beast
He treats me as if I were a princess, even though I'm a small-town girl. He's a wonderful dancer. After all, he was a prince, so he must have danced with many princesses before me. It's funny though, he isn't the harsh creature he started out to be..
Ever just the same, ever a surprise
Ever as before, and ever just as sure as the sun will rise
Maybe, just maybe if I prove myself to be a kind beast, she will love me in return. Lumiere and Babette are watching us closely as Mrs. Potts sings this song. And the song she sings is true. Belle is a beauty, and I'm nothing but a beast. But this beast will hopefully transform into his true form before the delicate rose's last petal falls.
Tale as old as time, tune as old as song
Bittersweet and strange, finding you can change
Learning you were wrong
His eyes show much more happiness than they used to. Has he really changed inside? I think he's growing on me. My heart is much more fonder of him now, since he is so kind to me. We're starting to slow down on the dancing, which means he must be getting tired. I'll admit, my feet hurt from these beautiful heels he's given to me, and my legs are getting sore from waltzing all through the enchanting ballroom.

She looks tired, so I slow down, and then come to a complete stop. I can tell by her face that she misses her father. I wouldn't blame her, I made her stay here forever. Foolish coward! I've made up my decision. I'm.. I'm letting her leave. I take her small hand into my beastly paw and lead her out to the balcony where I will tell her.

This was just what I imagined they were thinking while dancing, its not the real thing (of course).
