Three Words

All the pain and loneliness,
That I knew before, gone.
Somehow, with just a few words,
Everything became a play.
Welcome to my stage,
You're the star, now.
I'm unfamiliar with things such as feelings,
But the words "I love you" make me think.
I guess I'm so strange, for some reason...
Even though I'm not real, I can feel this.
No matter how many times I beg "fate,"
Nobody tells me who or what I am.
So, why should I care about that,
If I'm not even a human being?
Yet, somehow, when you say three simple words,
My heart jumps a thousand feet, and I'll blush.
So, please tell me,
Can this be reality?
If anybody up there is listening,
Please, don't let this end yet.
So, tell me this just one more time,
Tell me three words: "I love you."
