I've been alive forever,

If this is called alive.

My so called life keeps repeating.

My heart should have long ago quit beating.

I've been everywhere

And gotten nowhere.

I've lost no ground

Nor have I gained.

My endless life remains the same.

I've seen everything,

Except death and nothing.

I've lived many places,

But I have no home.

I know it all

But don't understand.

I feel little

And yet too much.

If I should die tomorrow,

No tears would I shed,

For I've been alive forever,

Always wanting to be dead.
