Guardian Angel

If I had a guardian angel I'd ask her to watch over you

To know that you'd be safe from harm in all that you go through

If I had a guardian angel she'd guide you from the skies

Be the light that shines through Darkness to aid your wary eyes

If I had a guardian angel she'd shield you from your pain

Remove the woes from your heart so you could love again

If I had a guardian angel she'd be there now I'm gone

Ease the suffering try to right what went wrong

If I had a guardian angel she'd wipe away your tears

Your sadness overflowing as you think of all the years

If I had a guardian angel she'd rest your tired head

As you thought of all the things not done, things you could have said

If I had a guardian angel she'd save you with one kiss

But no angel is forthcoming and No such thing exists

You have No watcher, No light, No guide

The Darkness before you all that resides

Continued suffering and deepened pain

For in your heart the woes still remain

No angel is forthcoming and No such thing exists

It falls to me to take you from that world into this

And so I stand before you, your watcher, your light, your guide

I place my hand upon yours so you know I stand beside

I cannot stop the suffering I cannot stop the tear

Only a mere effigy, I let you know that I am near

Emotions pass through your eyes, you wonder if this is right

Too late. It's gone. You can't go back. Your soul slips into night.

If I had a guardian angel I'd ask her to watch over you

But now that you are here with me, I ask if I will do.

this is just a little poem i came up with last night, basically it's if worst came to worst and Sam died and this is what she'd be thinking.

if they can't be together in this life then maybe tha next
