This was an idea that I had as I walked to my piano lesson this afternoon, and I just had to write it down before I forgot it. Normally, I don't support this ship, but it just formed in my head while walking. Anyways, please review!

I've always wanted friends

People to accept me for me.

And so I found them

Or so it would seem.

They fitted that role

To stand by me.

What they, and I, did not know

Was I wanted to stand up for me.

Harry was there, his famous self,

Standing on his own.

Ron was the one who clung,

Wanting, by someone, to be known,

I had my brains, nothing else.

Or so it would seem.

To them, I was nothing but a sidekick,

To get them out of what trouble they would bring.

Nobody understood there was a reason

That I was sorted as a Gryffindor.

My heart was more than set for books.

I had the dare, the nerve, and more.

And although we hated him,

More than anyone else,

Although he was a Slytherin,

He had more for me than repulse.

He understood I was more

Than just a mind of knowledge.

I had wit, I knew what I had to get.

And that was what he acknowledged

Now I think I should be a Slytherin.

That's what I believe.

Then I would be with the one I love.

Or so it would seem.
