Summary: It is five years after the Final Battle in which Voldemort won and has taken over the country (whole, including Muggles). Many fell; many were punished, imprisoned, enslaved… But a small group of rebels led by Sirius Black is still there, fighting against Voldemort’s power and his new system.

Author’s Notes: This story will be slightly AU, because as you can see, I let Sirius live (I need him here) and also because it takes place five years after the seventh book. This story is quite an old one; it came to me while I was working on my thesis. I've already posted some chapters of it here, but after reading "The Half-Blood Prince", I've decided to rewrite and repost it, including the things we've learned in the sixth book into the story. Therefore a warning: HBP spoilers! I originally had Dumbledore dead in the story and well, he'll continue being dead, as well as poor Harry who had failed in his task to finish Voldemort off. If you have any questions, ask, I'll do my best to answer.
