Disclaimer: I own nothing but Goka and Toran.

A.N.- Well, for anyone who wanted a sequel I guess here it is. Hope ya like and leave me a nice review!

I estimated about 8 years between the end of DBZ and the beginning of GT and this takes place 2 years before GT. Confusing?

Ages

Gohan – 32

Videl – 31

M. Trunks – 25

Trunks – 22

Goka – 21

Goten – 21

Marron – 19

Toran – 15(Original Character)

Uub – 14

Bra – 12

Pan – 11

Of course Bra and Pan's are a rough estimation, but I believe it is pretty close.

There will also be a few other original characters in this story. Only one that will really be in a major part which I believe I listed above in the age list, the others I suppose are just supporting characters so don't worry about them.

Anyway…I think that takes care of most of the technical stuff. If there are any questions leave them in a review and I'll try to get back to you.

Goka scribbled down the last few lines in her diary and sighed with satisfaction as she looked at the last page that she had just finished. She had been keeping this diary ever since she left Earth so she could record all of the most important events in there.

She flipped back to the front of the book deciding that she would do a little reading since it would be some time before the ship landed on the next planet that she would get supplies from, she started to read.

-Excerpt-

I left Earth today. I hope everyone back home isn't too upset with me, but I just had to go. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do to write that letter and leave it for Trunks to read, but I had to do something.

I got on the ship and at first I was overwhelmed with all of the controls and buttons that I had to learn how to use, but then I remembered watching Bulma a few times when she was working on it. I hope I can remember everything she did correctly, if not this may not be such a good idea.

Anyway, so far things are going well. It's been a few hours since I left and I have already increased the gravity on the ship so I could train. Training. That's about all I have done since I left. It's the only thing that seems to give me any form of peace. Every time I stop I think about things I would rather not have my mind on at the time. I still can't get over it. I was so sure that he would never leave. I was a fool.

It's rather lonely up here, but I'm not complaining. If I were back at home I know that people would just be asking me all the time if I'm ok…then they would look at me with those pitying eyes. I can't stand that! I don't want other people to pity me. I want to find a way to move on and I don't want people to feel sorry for me the whole time I'm doing it. I want to be just like how Vegeta talks about my ancestors. Every time he speaks of them he always talks about how strong they were…that's what I want…to be strong. I want to show my father when he comes back that I don't need him. That I can take care of myself and I don't need him floating in and out of my life pretending to take care of me. I want to show him that I am the strongest.

But enough about him. I hope Mom, Gohan and Goten are taking his disappearance better than I did. If I had known I would have anything to give I would have stayed and taken care of them myself, but as of right now I'm about to fall to pieces. And Trunks…I don't know if I can even talk about him right now. I love him…more than anything. I hope he can forgive me someday for doing this. I'm so sorry Trunks.

Anyway…that's all for today, I better get back to my training.

-End of Excerpt -

Goka could feel the tears stinging her eyes; it still tore her up every time she thought about what this might be doing to Trunks. She wiped at the tears and decided to move on to the next page.

-Excerpt-

I'm feeling so much stronger already. I can hardly believe it. I increase the gravity every morning when I wake up and I live in it the entire day whether I am training or not. I know I am not as strong as even Vegeta yet, but I suppose it takes time.

I'm feeling so much better already, I'm learning to cope with all the pain that I have been feeling over my dad and everything is just going pretty well.

I know there isn't that much to say, but it's pretty boring up here. I think I am going to have to stop for supplies soon…they're running low.

-End of Excerpt-

Goka smiled a little, she had come a long way since she had written that that entry. She decided to skip the next few excerpts as she recalled they were not really all that interesting. She landed on one where she had gone on her first supply hunt.

-Excerpt-

Today I landed on a planet to go on my first supply hunt. I had been rather nervous at first since I wasn't sure how much trouble it would be to find stuff that I need. I was also concerned about the possibility of the planets inhabitants speaking another language. Things went very well though. It seems that the planet that I landed on was a popular trading planet and had traded with many other planets before, so most traders were used to newcomers and people that didn't understand their language. What a relief!

-End of Excerpt-

Goka looked up as another person walked into the room with her, "Hi Toran. What's up?" She asked as the teenager walked over to the small fridge they shared.

"I'm ok." He muttered sleepily as he grabbed a drink and walked over to the couch she was sitting on to relax and drink his drink.

Goka giggled at the messy state of his royal blue hair. The boy was rather cute, somewhat elfin, but cute. He had royal blue hair that was long and spiky on the top and his eyes were the same color as hers, royal blue. He had slightly pointy ears and his body was still a little built despite the fact that he was only 15 years old, which she wasn't really surprised about considering he was half saiyan. The furry brown tail that happened to come into view at that moment only served to remind her of this fact.

Toran caught the look she was giving him and raised an eyebrow at her, "What?" He asked.

Goka only smiled, "Just checking you out." She said teasingly as she winked at him suggestively.

Toran blushed a little as he looked down and noticed that he hadn't even bothered to put on his shirt before walking out of his room. All he wore was a pair of baggy black pants that he always wore for sleeping. "Yeah…whatever." He said as he tried to pass it off like he didn't care.

Goka just shook her head and decided to go back to reading her diary. She flipped closer to the back where she found what she was looking for. It was an excerpt that talked about how she and Toran had met.

-Excerpt-

I stopped today to get more supplies and I met someone. The strange thing is; he's half saiyan! I couldn't believe it when I saw that tail that was around his waist.

I had gone over to talk to him and we had hit it off pretty well, I showed him the tail that I had recently grown back and he was rather amazed at first. My guess is he has never seen anyone before of the saiyan race.

My guess proved to be quite right as we started talking about where we had come from. He told me that his father, Omato, had come from a planet that he didn't remember because he was so young. He had been raised on this planet since he was a baby and when he was older he met his future mate, Amelia.

As Toran went on to explain he told about how his father had been hesitant about falling in love at first but had given in before it was all over with. They became mates and a few years later Toran came along.

They had been so happy at first, Toran trained with his father and a few of the other strong warriors of the planet. Life had been good until the invasion started. His father had been killed while defending the planet.

Toran had gone on to explain more about the people that had invaded his planet. It seems that when my father destroyed Frieza his empire started to fall to pieces. One of the stronger people who called himself Randon had taken in some of the people that had no where else to go and had formed his own small empire. Over the years the empire grew to be one of great stature, and Randon's power grew as well.

Toran had mentioned that before dying, his father had gone super saiyan and had still not been able to lay a finger on some of Randon's followers. It seems they must have been trained well.

After Omato's death, Toran swore that he would have revenge and kill the people that had slaughtered his father and enslaved his people. He had been training ever since. Training in things that his father had taught him, training in things that some of the warriors of the planet had shown him, even his mother had insisted on teaching him a few techniques that she had come to learn. He had grown to be quite stronger and had now reached the level of super saiyan.

He told me that he had recently challenged a few of the lower class guards that stayed on the planet and had managed to defeat them, but just barely. He knew that with there defeat Randon would be sending more higher class guards to their planet now. He was about to leave so he could go get some more training done, but I stopped him.

I told him that I was really strong and that I wanted to help him. He had refused at first, saying that he wanted to be the one that defeated them, after I had gone on to explain that all I wanted to do was help him train he gave in.

And that's where it all began, now I have a new training partner, and who knows, in time he may prove to be a very good friend.

-End of Excerpt-

Goka smiled as she turned to the next entry, Toran had become a good friend in deed. She did not love him by no means as much as she did Trunks, her heart would always belong to Trunks, but Toran had proven to be a very good friend to her, he was almost like a brother.

-Excerpt-

Toran had told me that he wanted me to leave all the fighting to him. But when he was nearly killed by some of the warriors that he had been fighting I couldn't stop myself any longer.

I had taken them on and had defeated them rather easily now that I was at level 3. That's when Randon showed up. I had taken him on and killed him. At least I hope he is dead, what was left of his body some of the lower class soldiers took back to the ship.

I went over and grabbed Toran and went back to the small house that he and his mother lived in. She was rather worried at first when she saw the shape that his body was in, but after the initial shock had faded she began bandaging him up.

I had never actually taken that much time to study the lovely alien woman before, but I decided now was as good a time as any as I watched her nurse her son back to health.

Her hair was a light blue, almost like the sky back at home, and it hung down in waves of curls that reached her lower back. She also had the most beautiful eyes, they were the same color as her hair, sky blue, and they always had this mischievous twinkle in them. She was indeed a very lovely woman and she could not question why Omato had fallen for her. Even the delicate pointy ears that she possessed only seemed to heighten her beauty and give her almost an elfish quality.

I decided to continue my examination later as the older woman turn to look at me and ask for my help while she was trying to get a bandage wrapped around Toran's waist.

I hope he is going to be ok.

-End of excerpt-

It has been several months since Toran's recovery and we have been training rather vigorously ever since. I can already sense that Toran is getting so much stronger since he has started training in the gravity room with me.

We left his planet only a week ago after his mother died. I still don't understand what could have caused the young woman's death; she was still in her prime as far as I know. I don't really want to ask Toran though, he seemed to be taking it rather hard at first, but he seems to be doing better now. I think the training everyday helps, if he is anything like me it helps to have something to take his mind off of things.

I guess I am on my way home now. I told Toran when we left that I wanted him to come with me so he could meet other saiyans and demi-saiyans. He had agreed and come with me. I guess it is finally time to go home.

-End of Excerpt-

Goka closed the book as she realized that was the last excerpt she has written. She looked over to see how long it would be before they landed on the next planet so they could stock up on supplies so they could make it home. "It won't be long now." She stated as she saw that one of the controls showed that it would only be a little longer before they reached their destination.

She looked over at Toran one last time to see him finishing up his drink and then went over to put up the diary she had been reading. "I'm coming home."
