Oh goodness . . . Sorry for the longest . . . wait . . . ever. T-T My computer died, it lost ALL data, and I’ve lost my fandom in Tokyo Mew Mew. I’m so sorry! But, but, here’s the final chapter! –cries- I’m sorry to say, but I don’t think there’ll be a sequel. I’ve lost most of my fandom for this series. Sorry . . . :(
Well, let’s finish this. I hope everything will be okay! T-T
Ichigo was stunned yet confused at her words. “But-”
“Later, girl, I’ve done most of my explaining. I believe you understand and trust most of it.” In a blink of an eye, she disappeared with a bright pink flash. White feathers swayed to the ground after she left.
A feather landed on Ichigo’s shoulder. She picked it up and stared at it. “But...It’s just too confusing.” Her brown eyes narrowed when twisted the feather with her fingers; looking at the two sides of it. “How will I know that . . . I would be satisfied with Kish . . ?”
My Christmas Wish
The End
How should Ichigo know what is right . . ? She still held her dangerous thoughts and feelings, of what is morally right and wrong. She shook her head as she felt tears sting her eyes. Why is this happening? All of a sudden? This is mad.
Ichigo tried to swallow her anxiousness down, but it always seemed to resurface. It was difficult to concentrate on where she was going. Momo street . . . was it?
The rose-colored hair woman grew doubtful and guilty. Why is this happening?!
Ichigo felt her eyes growing hot and her throat began to close. ‘Stop this . . .’ she mentally begged.
The sensation didn’t stop. It persisted and she grew worried. Is this some kind of punishment now? Why?
The woman settled on a street bench beside a park. She attempted to catch her breath. Strangers passing by didn’t give her such a look at her trying to breathe again. All were too busy with their last minute shopping. It was Christmas Eve after all.
The night grew darker and the weather grew a bit more severe. More snow fell as a chilled wind blew around. Whipping up some snow, slashes Ichigo’s face.
‘Why am I doing this . . . ?’
“Ichigo . . .?” came a confused, raspy voice.
Ichigo was stricken as to who the voice belonged to. She was too scared to look up. It was Kish. It was him. ‘I shouldn’t have come. I shouldn’t have come. I shouldn’t have come . . .’ she chanted to herself.
An unexpected hug came from Kish. Ichigo wanted to die, or disappear. The excitement, anxiousness, and shock of it all were too much. What she decided, wasn’t at all love? It was all a joke? She should’ve gone with Kish?
Her mind began to overload. She attempted to stifle her cry, but it was easily picked up by Kish.
“Ichigo . . . Please don’t cry . . . Please . . .” His voice sent quakes throughout her body.
It’s supposed to be Kish that she was to marry? Why?
The rose haired woman bawled on Kish’s shoulder, grasping him tightly, afraid of him and yet welcoming his comfort. This was too overwhelming.
“. . .”
Her distress remained for some long moments. After her release, her brown eyes grew weary and cloudy. Again, she couldn’t help but question herself, time and time again . . .
“. . . why . . . ?”
“. . . what?”
Ichigo felt anger rise inside of her. What? What does he mean by that? How would he feel if the decision he thought was right was wrong after all? How would he feel?! “Why did this happen?!” She shoved the man away, eyeing him in the eye like she always used to do before battle. But looking into his golden eyes sent her deathly still.
Kish was here, for her, not to fight, not for his clan, but for her.
“. . .” The alien looked at her with great concern. He studied her reasoning complexion to the situation. Then, he remembered those days, when they battled, the look of Ichigo when figuring out his plans . . . But this is now and a wholly different circumstance.
Ichigo moved her mouth to speak. She tried hard to voice her words, to voice her mind, her heart. Kish understood her difficulty and waited.
“. . . did you know that I made the wrong decision . . . ?”
The look on his face gave her the answer. Yes, he knew she made the wrong decision, but having to tell her that, in front of her and everyone else was devastating. He thought it would somehow work out. Yet Kish covered his knowing and kept his cocky attitude to give her a sweet kiss before he left, forever. But that was wrong, it was not forever. The green haired alien returned, knowing everything was soon to fall apart and that she would be in great despair.
Before Kish allowed tears to prick at his eyes, he embraced the woman reassuringly.
“I’m sorry . . .” he apologized heavily. “I should’ve said something . . . back then . . . but I was too scared of your reaction . . . I didn’t want to hurt you before I left . . . I wanted to know that’d you’d be safe . . . and you were, until the time it was supposed to happen . . .”
“. . .” Ichigo lightly returned his embrace. She still felt frightened, after all, he did used to harass her day in and day out whenever they fought, yet they’re destined to be together . . ?
“. . . how can we make this work . . .?” Ichigo breathed, slowly, bracing herself for the reply.
Kish looked at her, carefully. Studying her expression, he tried his best to release an answer. “We need to take each step, one at a time, to reach this . . . It’s going to be your best outcome . . . I promise.” He gradually leaned towards Ichigo’s face to place a gentle kiss on her lips.
“It is . . . ?” Her self-doubt caught up with her again.
“Yes . . .” Kish softly brushed back her hair.
The woman increased their hug. “What about Masaya . . . ? What will happen?”
“I believe he’s already gone, dear . . . You can’t retrieve him back . . .”
“Then you will help Bara and me . . . You will love us, right . . ?”
“Of course.”
Ichigo breathed slowly, trying to catch her breath again. This was so sudden. This is definite and can never be avoided.
“Please, then . . . do whatever was meant to be true for me . . . for us . . .”
Kish gingerly kissed her again. “Yes, Ichigo, of course . . . I love you.”
With that, they began their tied futures,
Together.
