Alc: Hello everyone…yes yes, I know that I have 3 fics that aren't finished but I couldn't help myself. I love YYH and Kuwabara SOOOOOOOO much that I had to write a fic for him…cause Kuwabara is my favorite anime character of all time. This fic is somewhat odd…and probably won't make much sense until later on…but I'll probably finish my other fics first before I really start on this one…but then again maybe I won't it all depends on my mood. Please read and review. Oh yes and I named Kuwabara's gang the "Tiger Blades". Why? I have no idea….but it's mentioned a few times in the fic so I thought it'd need a name.

Disclaimer: I don't own Yu Yu Hakusho…if I did….I'd be rich, and wouldn't write fanfics…well, maybe I would anyway.

Before he joined Yusuke in Genkai's Tournament, Kuwabara had never really met any demons right? Wrong! It's seems that Kuwabara's been keeping a few secrets from the other members of team Urameshi but now those secrets are about to be found out. And Kuwabara's got to call in his favor to Koenma too, all this plus there are some strange happenings going on in the Living World and Kuwabara and an old friend are the only one's who know about it. Add the fact that the rest of team Urameshi is starting to worry about Kuwabara's state of being. His power has quadrupled, he's being hunted, and something from his past is catching up with him…something his friends wouldn't even dream of.

An orange skinned, greasy brown haired demon fell to the ground in a pool of his own blood. Kuwabara stood over the demon with his spirit sword outstretched staring into the space where the demon had once been standing. A few birds flew out of the trees around him. This shook Kuwabara out of his trance and he let his spirit sword fade away. He looked at the fallen demon and then turned around and walked away, going back to the living world…and his home. But first he had to stop and pick someone up…someone he'd been entrusted with; he just hoped Shizuru would let him keep her.

Dear Alya,

Koenma sent me on a mission today all by myself. At first I was wondering why he didn't send the others, I mean after all Urameshi's the Spirit Detective not me. I asked Koenma why he chose me and he said it was because if something ever happened to Urameshi I was to take over a Spirit Detective. I was kinda shocked, I mean yeah I know I've been with Urameshi for about three years now but still…I didn't think that I was ready to be Spirit Detective.

So you're probably wondering how the mission went, well as you can tell at least I'm alive. Or maybe I'm a ghost that's writing this to you to tell you that I'm dead. And after this that stupid rule that Koenma's dad established will be taken away…I still don't understand why after all this time you've have to be "exiled" in America. Oh well, at least we can still communicate with one another.

Oh yes the mission-well, I was sent to track down this demon that's been terrorizing some of the peaceful villages in the Demon World. I found out that the guy was attacking a village of cat demons…how ironic is that huh? Well when I got there these two cat demons were attacking the one I was after. But the guy they were fighting was too strong and I ran over to them as they were dieing. They asked me to beat the demon and then take care of their kid. They could tell I had a good heart I guess. So I killed the demon and then went to the village. The villagers were all happy that I had killed the demon and were going to throw me some sort of festival thing when I told them about the two demons that had died. They took me to their kid and said that if the two wanted me to take care of her that I should. So I asked Koenma if it was okay and he said yes but that I had to keep her out of trouble. But what's kinda odd is that she calls me "Daddy" or "Dad". She says that her original dad died so I'm her new dad. She said her mom and dad's ghosts came to her and told her that she'd be staying with me. I found out that she's slightly psychic and has a sixth sense, though nowhere near as strong as sis's is.

Her name's Kali and she looks more or less human. She's got orange hair, a lot like mine actually, that goes down to her mid back; brown cat ears and a tail, and she's about 5 years old. I know I'm way to young to raise a kid….that's why I was hoping that maybe I'd finally call in my favor to Koenma. I'm going to see if I can get that stupid rule denounced or something. Wish me luck.

Kuwabara finished writing his letter and put it in an envelope. He sealed the envelope and put it on the dining room table next to the other mail that had to be taken to the post office in the morning.

He turned to go into his room and get some much-deserved sleep when he noticed Kali sleeping on the couch. The blanket that Shizuru had covered her with earlier had fallen on the floor so Kuwabara snuck over to her quietly, placed the blanket around her shoulders, and kissed her forehead. Kali smiled in her sleep and as Kuwabara walked back into his room he was smiling as well.

The next day after school Kuwabara was walking home. His other gang members had split up at a cross section in the road a while back and now Kuwabara was walking along the side of the road near the alleyways.

Suddenly he stopped and tilted his head a little to the side. He had thought he'd sensed something, but maybe it was just his imagination. He took a step forward when he felt the presence again. Kuwabara spun on his heel and walked into the dark alleyway next to him. He looked around cautiously to see if he could see anyone. He brought a hand to his neck as he felt a prick.

Suddenly he a strange tingling feeling ran its way through his body as he pulled out the object stuck in his neck. He brought it up in front of his face and saw that it was a dart. It looked like it could be filled with some sort of liquid. Realization dawned on him. He'd just been poisoned. Then he thought…if you're poisoned aren't you supposed to die, or at least fall unconscious, and he was certainly doing neither of those at the moment.

He almost jumped when he felt something furry brush against his other hand. He grabbed it and found out that it was a tail, an orange, white, and black striped tail…like a tiger's. Kuwabara's eyes widened as he reached up on top of his head.

"Yep," He thought. "They're their…well this is just great. I'm not that far away from home and there doesn't seem to be anyone coming this way so I should be safe. I'll worry about this later." He pocketed the dart and messed up his hair to hide the two cat ears that had appeared on his head. Before he exited the alleyway completely he moved his tail so that it wrapped around his waist under his school uniform jacket.

"Sis's gonna kill me…" Kuwabara said to himself as he started the wary trek home.

Alc: Well, how did you like it? And like I said it won't make much sense until I continue it…but I just wanted to submit this fic to because there aren't enough about Kuwabara…and a lot of fics that are about him are bash fics. Just because a character doesn't look cute or acts a little goofy (don't we all at times) doesn't mean he's not beautiful on the inside. Take this from one of his #1 fans…the girl that actually gets called Kuwabara. (I'm not kidding…people call me Kuwabara. I ask them why and they say I look a lot like him because I have high cheekbones, really broad shoulders, I have an honor code, I also have a sixth-sense (you can choose to believe it or not but when you see strange things and hear voices you'll think twice) and I wear a blue corduroy coat all the time. And you want to know what the worst part about all that is….I'm a girl…now…how creepy is that?) I'm not saying that it's a bad thing to be mistaken for Kazuma-chan...it's just odd. Anyways, I'd really like it if you reviewed…it'd make my day, but I wouldn't wait around too long for a new chapter…it'll take me a while. Until next time…bye bye!
