The shurikan gave off a bright yellow glow signaling that it was armed, with a flick of his wrist sabiot sent the star flying towards amonyushu and injured jack.

Suddenly out of no where kumo appeared in front of them and batted the star away with his spear sending the shurikan flying into a wooden shed , it exploded turning the shed into a cloud of debrie and fire.

“who the hell are you!?” said the dark specter referring to kumo

“I’m her brother!” said the brave hybrid

“jack , amonyushu are you two okay?”

“yes” said amonyushu bravely

“I think so” replied jack tenderly

“jack how those ribs doing? Can you still move?” asked kumo

“yeah , I think I can still fight” he said cradling his sore ribs, jack then lifted his weight

He reached down to retrieve a discarded spear that laid on the ground, gritting his teeth as the pain shot through like an arrow, forcing himself to stand up straighter he exhaled a breath of air, regaining his poster he join kumo by his side.

“ this specter is far more than a match for either one of us but if we fight together maybe we might have an even chance at winning”siad kumo

“Enough! You idiots truly think you can stand against the might of the Virean Empire!? You will soon learn to fear your new masters, and you will learn why it is never good underestimate us!” sabiot then gave aloud maniacal laugh “what you do not know is that I have been testing you to see how far your limits go, what you have faced is merely a fraction of my strength!, but now that I know the limit of your abilities I will not hold back my strength any longer, any hope of you surviving is… less…. Than…. None”

Said the Virean , suddenly his shadow stretched out growing wider , the black mass then jutted out from the ground and started to take form , it morphed until it shaped itself to look like its former predecessor.

"allow me to introduce to you my shadow clone, ever bit of as powerful as me and just as brutal .

two noob sabiots one for each of you, now we’re even" said sabiot

Unsheathing his sword he dropped it to the ground, he then loosened the pouch that was on the side of his waist it too fell to the ground.

“just to make the fight even easier, there will be no sword or stars, just my fist and that is all I’ll need,” he finished

Kumo then stomped his foot on the ground kicking up a cloud of dirt, he held his weapon diagonally so as to deflect any attack that could be thrown at him” fine then specter do your worst!”

He said his tone serious and defiant. Jack did the same holding his weapon pointed forward.

Soon jack and kumo where joined by there many hybrid brethren and bye there New allies they had acquired the clad armored troopers.

Noob saibiot with fellow few beside him. One of his underlings responded “ no disrespects sir but I belief we should leave now”

“yes maybe you are right, tactical retriet , leave now and fight another day” said the specter

“No noob! Aren’t going any where, you are going to stay here and finish what you started” yelled jack.

“yes you’d like that wouldn’t you?” the specter said as he notice that he was now surrounded on all side bye the coalition of hybrids and troopers. His only escape was through forest that was behind him.

Kumo then stepped forward as he gave his proposition to the demon ninja “how about it specter you and your shadow vs. me and jack on a final duel ,no interference from the others and winner takes all “

Sabiot seemed interested in kumos challenge as he and his shadow clone stepped closer

“very well but what are the stakes involved?” he asked

“if you win, you can have amonyushu” said kumo

Jack gasped in surprise at kumo answer “kumo are you crazy?, she your sister!” he tried to object

Kumo winked “ don’t worry ! Just trust me on this one ,okay?” he whispered

Jack could only stair at him in shock.

“fine seem fair but what if you come out the victor? thoagh i'd highly doute it, What do you want should you succeed? ” said saibiot crossing his arms.

Kumo thought for a little bit as he strached his chin and said “well……”

“let me guess , you want my head?” interrupted the specter

“mmh…….no I don’t want your head, what I want is your humiliation . What’s better than killing your foe?, humiliating them that what. so What I want is for your total surrender to us if we win” said kumo as he smiled shrugging his arms as well.

“and odd bargain but very well I shall agree to your term” the specter said with a hint of disgust in his tone.

Both opposing side kept there distance as the two hybrid challengers walked to the center to meet up with there shadow like opponents .

“ remember you two, hold nothing back give me your all” said sabiot waving both his hands towards himself to gesture to start the fight.

“I always do” said kumo starting the fight off with a run toward his enemies direction, holding his spear up he aimed for his target. placing his opposite foot from his throwing arm forward he released it into the air.

Noob held his ground, refusing to move from his place. he staired the spear that was sailing in the air down , then in one instant moment he cought it with his hand when it was just inches away from his face.

Kumo then unsheathed the machete from his waist and charged at him with it.

Noob easily deflected the hybrids attacks with his arm guards.

Jack tried to hit the shadow clone with a volley of spear strikes to the head and neck. The shadow swerved and moved dodging jacks nimble spear with ease, it then countered with a couple leg sweeps causing the young hybrid to jump back to avoid his counter. The nimble half breed then lunged forward in a single daring attempt to knock off the shadows head, but the creature was too quick as it directed jacks blade away only missing it bye a few inches and countered back with a blow to jacks already damaged ribs, jack screamed as the pain was unbearable.

Kumo harassingly hacked away at sabiots arms ,

suddenly the specter jumped out and try to pry the weapon from kumo’s hand .

Both of them wrestled for the weapon, but sabiot brought kumo arm down bellow his waist and stuck his elbow into the old hybrid jaw and started to beat away at his face.

jack then lashed out at the shadow with his fists , but the creature was too well trained as it came at him with an upper cut to the jowl and a kick to his beaten ribs, jack wailed out in pain again as he fell to his knees. jack just couldn’t compete, compared to him this thing was a master at the art of fighting it seemed to counter everything he through at it ,but jack had one more move to make.

he hung his head low as he started to spit up blood , the creature then reached down and lifted him by the thraoght , in that instant he rammed his spear straight into the shadows chest as far he could with every last ounce of his strength.

“Got you , you basterd” said jack as he smiled in victory

Noob suddenly cried out in pain, the specter so unused to this old feeling stopped and turned to look Seeing his shadow convulse and shake as both specters seemed to share the pain , "no!!" he screamed.

The red trooper captain said “ it looks his shadow was his weakness so he felt the pain as well."

With sabiot distracted kumo took his blade and stabbed it strait through the demons shoulder, Noob gave out a high pitch cry of agony. The specter then fell on one knee as he struggled to keep his balance .

“good job you two you gave your all“ he knotted speaking as throagh he was intoxicated in alcohol , the specter then turned his head towards the young hybrid” jack! you finally did it …. you finally learned to give me pain that I haven’t experience in a long…. Long…. time” he said slowly as he struggled to speak.

His clone then faded away in a puff of black smoke, releasing jack from its grip.

He then crumbled to the ground in exhaustion, amonyushu then rushed from the crowd of hybrids and soldiers to jack side scooping his head in her arms.

“are you ok!” she said with tears in her eyes. The duel was agonizing to watch cause it was hard to see her bother and her friend jack fight the black demon like foe’s, she wished the fight had not started at all. She wish all of this had not happen in the first place. She wish she didn’t have this kind of power to sense the darkness. All she could do was hold jacks head in her arms.

“don’t cry amonyushu , it doesn’t suit you” he told her cupping her cheeck in his hand.

"we won, we did it everybody! We won!” said kumo as he raised his arms in the air as he realized his victory

"finally the battle is over" said amonyushu as an overwhelming feeling of joy washed over her

The crowd of hybrids and soldiers cheered the for victory, every one seemed happy,

Amonyushu hope was that things might go back to the way they we’re .

But her hopes where scattered as the black demon stood up once more

and Stared striate at her.

“you have not ..won.. yet!” he said with his deep demonic voice, his hand held what looked like a ball of gray vapor, he then turned on his heel toward the old hybrid.

Amonyushu realized what he was going to happen and she tried to cry out to her brother to warn him but it was too late.

sabiot slapped the ball of vapor right into kumo chest sending him flying backwards onto his back. kumo then began to shake as he could feel his hands arms and legs started to go numb & stiff.

kumo tried to speak " what...did...you...do?"

Noob sabiot spoke simply " I call that move the katatonic blast, I use it to paralyzes my opponents leaving them open for an attack.by this time Your joints must already be in pain ” the specter then chuckled , his shrill laughter filled the air like a horrible scream.

“you hybrids are very amusing creatures, you valor is almost moving , since you have fought me so bravely I have decided to grant you a warriors death, a death worthy of honor” he said smiling under his mask. The specter then reached for the machete that stuck out of his shoulder and pulled the weapon out wincing in pain as he did.

“as you can see even in my weakened state it does not stop me from accomplishing my task” the black demon then stood over kumo limp body , holding the blade pointed downward as he held the weapon over his head .

the white clad soldiers held there rifles pointed directly at the specter ready to fire at a moments notice , the red captain stepped ahead of his men and yelled out as he point his blaster pistol toward the specter

"don’t you dare demon! drop the knife or my men will drop you!”

Sabiot chuckled at the captains threat “ bye the time you fire I will have already killed him” the specter was definitely suicidal, his actions stated it as he still kept the dagger like machete held of over the old hybrids head.

amonyushu had to do something as she got up and walked toward the black ninja,

She had to stop the demon some how , she couldn’t let her bother die just because of her ,even if she had to sacrifice her own life ,if it meant saving kumo she would gladly give it freely. She continued to walk forward braver than she had ever been before ,she ignoring the cries and warning given bye the others behind her. her sisters fauna and flora where in the crowd both Being restrained bye the hybrid guards men , there wailing was loud and discernable but was unheeded as she continued to march right up to the demon.

She stood now only 3 yards away from him, the specter was confused ,was she crazy or maybe or maybe all this stress was finaly getting to her and she might have realized that her death was unescapable and decided to get it over with he wondered.

she then got on her knees ,her face full of emotion

" no more please!no more fighting! no more killing! dont hurt my bother please I beg of you! if you spare his life I will give you mine return" she said clasped her hands together as she pleaded with him.

"so after all this...after all this work, all this drama you finaly given up" the specter said as he held the blade up to her throat " I guess you realized that it was futile to resist" he finished.

the demon then bursted out laughing , his laughter was high and exaggerated, " Hahahaha! that was quite melodramatic, all this heart ache would have been avoided had you not resisted death, and now death finaly has you!"he said as he grabbed her bye the bun of her hair tilting her head back reveling her delicate neck, he then turned amonyushu towards the crowd of hybrids and white clad armored troopers, he wanted to show everyone the spectacle that was her death.

The specter then yelled out in boastfuly “ see what happens when you resist us!

See what happens when you challenge the might of the Virean Empire, this is what will happen to all of you you ,mothers , fathers,sons and dauthers! let this be an example To all of you when you decide to stand against the Empire!"

the hybrids all around suddenly began to cry, they cried the same way they cried for there Papa, the same way they mourned for the passing of there Father. Even amonyushu began to cry , not for herself but for her family all them, she felt sorry for them and the sorrow was just too deep to hold in any more. they all wept because they where going to lose another love one to an unwanted War again.

Amonyushu then whispered what possibly was her final words “ God please help them…..”

The demon raised his blade high into the air , holding the blade ready to execut its victime.

sudden something like a comet hurdling from the sky smashed into the ground behind the demon, the Earth began to shacked violently , a shock wave of air pasted of over the village kicking up sand and dirt making it hard to see. It then suddenly stopped , a strange and eerie calmness covered the land.

Noob then turned around and siad “what the hell was-” sabiot stopped at mid sentence as his hand that held the blade tightly slide right off and fell on the ground turning to ash before him, he scream as the pain was intence.he released amonyushu from his grip dropping her to the ground . A new figure then stood before him someone he did not expect to see.

"Super Suit!..."he gasped realizing who he was , Noob new that he was no match for such a warrior, he wanted to run but his legs wouldn’t respond because they where too gripped bye terror to move.

the warrior held his sword up to demons neck

"you should never have messed with my girl Noob, you mistake will be your last"

the human than brought the blade up to his chest stabed the weapon straight throagh his body, the demon body convulsed as if the sword was like poison to him.

the man continued to stab wildly until there was nothing but gapping holes in his chest.

Josh then cut the demons legs from under him, causing the creature to drop to the ground.

he then stood over the defeated dark warrior and thrusted the sword down onto his already wounded body.

Noob then reached out with his hand to touch the weapon that was transfixed into his chest, and instantly his limb witherred and turned to ash in front of him, his body followed soon after and started to turned to cinder.

sabiot struggled to look up at the supersuit as he tried to speak his final words " ...long live the Empire...long live the-" but before he could say more he was interupted by the super suit as he stomped the specters head into powder "silence you!"

Amonyushu got back up on her feet and turned to look at her rescuer " Joshua!" she said happily as she ran into his arms , she continued to huge him as she gave off a few tears .

The young man held the female hybrid even more closer kissing her on her forehead , she sniffed a little as she slowly gave a gleaming smile of hope on her face to him.

kumo picked himself off the ground as he realized he was no longer paralyzed .

he then turned to look at his sister and was surprise to see amonyushu hugging a human, she held him in her arm with such love it was amazing. And what was quite surprising was that this human was loving her back holding her in his arm with just as much adoration. He never thought he would see the day when humans and hybrids would live together in harmony. Was this the warrior she was talking about all along? he wondered.

the human then took her bye the hand as he lead her over to the crowd behind them to show to them all that she was unharmed.

all her family then ran to her ,the massive crowd of hybrids surrounding her in love and joy; all of them cheering in celebration that she was alive and well.

Josh outside looked onward toward them and smiled, he new that there was hope for them. What the future held for them was uncertain to josh. But he new one thing they where free , his hope for them was that they would be an example to all who where oppressed, his dream was that there sparkle of hope would inspire everyone that they met.

The red captain then walked up to Joshua and replied “ sir sorry to be the bear of bad news, Intel has just told us that a massive Virean army of heavy tanks and ground infantry is approaching from the North, in about 45 min they will reach us”

Josh looked down in a slit saddened face as he tried to bring his conversation with the trooper down to a whisper “ alright captain this is what I want you to do, call in immediate EVAC, tell them the site is hot and will require Air Support. Order them to launch an Aerial Strike on the Enemy force ,that should slow them down long enough for us to pull everyone out of here ,understand?”

“yes sir” answered the red captain as he brought his hand up to his forehead to salute his commanding officer and walked off behind josh .

joshua turned to his left to observe a few hybrids guards and white clone troopers all together lifted beaten and bruised jack onto a stretcher .

Jack gave off a small yelp as they lifted his stretcher off the ground

“take it easy you guys, I’ve got broken ribs for crying out loud!” he said groaning.

the human then reached for his sword that was plowed into the ground and yanked it out, he then swiped the sword in the air as if he was fighting an invisible enemy.

He soon brought the sword to the scabbard that rested on his waist and locked the weapon in place.

He looked back behind him to see that the followers of the demon where long gone.

all that could be seen was the empty open spaces of the forest behind him.

A voice then asked “ so human ,will we win this war?”

josh looked ahead to see who it was that stood before him, he then realized that it was the hybrid named kumo who ask the fabled question.

the young man then gave the hybrid a reassuring pat on the shoulder as a smile came over his face , answering simply "I’m sure we will"
