A Single Soul

Long, long ago I horribly perished,

And my body consumed by flames.

Now in a new age I live once again.

One person with two different names.

I was born for one purpose only,

To protect the Jewel of Four Soul.

Now I journey for it's fragments,

Hoping to restore it to it's whole.

My companion is rude and brutish.

Before his might all enemies are rent.

But he's as gentle as a little puppy,

Upon catching a whiff of my scent.

I am one person now divided in two.

Dead Kikyo is truly my evil twin,

Seeking my guardian's life, while I,

Her opposite, I'm in love with him.
