Mid-sixth season

B'Elanna stood in front of the warp core. She was running a diagnostic.

Tom came up behind her. "Hello," he said into her ear as he came up behind her.

She jumped a little but calmed at the sound of his voice. "Hey," she whispered back.

Tom wrapped his arms around her from his place behind her. He rocked her slightly. "You doing anything tonight?"

"No," she whispered pulling her head back slightly.

He kissed the back of her neck and her ear. "Want to come over?" he asked quietly.

She smile and turned to face him. "Sure." She kissed him.

"Oh please!" a nameless ensign yelled from the side of Engineering. "Come on! You're right in the middle of the room!"

B'Elanna shot the man a glare. She moved from Tom's grasp and grabbed his hand. She walked into her office. Tom followed obediently.

"You can only think of what they're doing in there," the ensign said to his friend.

The friend looked at him like he was crazy.

"And be disgusted," the ensign finished his thought.
