A/N: Hey, guys!!!! Here's just a little thing I thought of while watching the weather channel. Yeah, I know, odd inspiration, but it was that time before Christmas that they were showing those storm stories about snow and stuff and I though the wrath of winter would be a good title for something! Thus we have this little story here. Please enjoy.

Disclaimer: I'd be basking in my riches instead of writing this if I owned anything. He he.

The wind pounded at the windows. Well, what were supposed to be the windows--the snow had clouded them up so much you couldn't tell. Keiko sighed as she glanced at the window. 'We're going to be here awhile,' she thought. She glanced at the door to the kitchen. 'Yusuke's been in there awhile. I hope he hasn't hurt himself.'

He was supposed to be making them hot chocolate (the easy kind, where all you do is put the powder in the bottom of the mug and then pour in hot water). They were stuck there--the unexpected blizzard had blocked them in, and he had offered to make them hot chocolate, since they'd be there for awhile.

"Yusuke?" she said, and just as she was about to get up, he walked in.

"Sorry it took so long," he said, making sure not to spill any of the warm cocoa-y goodness. (a/n: yummmm...tasty) "Couldn't figure out how to figure that damn old-fashioned water faucet."

Keiko sat back down. "It's okay. You could have just asked me to help, you know," she said.

He ignored this as he walked over to her and handed the steaming mug over. Then he sat down next to her and they both started to drink slowly.

They sat in silence (not exactly comfortable, but not exactly uncomfortable either).

"Soo. . ." Yusuke said.

Keiko smiled. "Soo. . ." she said back.

Yusuke grinned. "Weather's nice, isn't it?"

She laughed. "Wonderful. Absolutely wonderful."

After a few more minutes of akward silence, Yusuke glanced nervously around. 'Now's the best time as any to tell her,' he thought.

"Umm. . .Keiko?" he said hesitantly.

"Yes?" she said, looking at him out of the corner of her eye as to not spill any hot cocoa.

"There's something I need to tell you," he said, still hesitant.

She put he drink in her lap and turned to look at him. "What is it?" she asked.

"Umm," 'Go ahead and do it, Yusuke! Get it over with!' he thought. "Keiko, I love you," he said in a rush, staring at the ceiling.

Her eyebrows shot up. "Y-You l-love me? But I thought you said that wasn't possible." Her voice started to get angry. Yusuke sighed. This wasn't the way he'd wanted it to go (a/n: obviously! okay sorry). "Keiko--," he said, but she kept on going. "You said that I was already a weakness to you, that enemies could use me to get to you and that we should leave our relationship to friends. But now you say you love me? You hypocrite! Why? Is it just because we're here alone with one bedroom?"

"Keiko!" he shouted. "You're crazy! You know that's not why! I didn't want to see you hurt!"

She stopped. "You told me yourself, Yusuke Urameshi," she said through gritted teeth, "that you--"

But she could not finish that statement. Her eyebrows shot up even higher. He had gotten up and kissed her. KISSED her. When he stopped, he said, "I lied."

She just stared at him for a moment, her mouth opening and closing as if she couldn't figure out what to say.

"Yusuke..." she said softly. "I don't know what to say." (a/n: he he told ya)

He smiled. (By the way, he's practically on top of her, cause he's leaning over to kiss her.) "Just say you love me."

Now she smiled. "I love you."

"That's better."

"Just kiss me again."

"I can do that," he said, as he leaned forward.

'Guess this isn't such a bad blizzard as I thought it'd be,' Keiko thought. 'It's great.'
