It took two weeks for Inutaisho to fully recuperate from miko induced injuries. It disgusted him immensely that she managed to catch him off guard. She could kill him if she wished so. The miko had him pinned by his own sword. It was his mistake. If he wasn't so busy staring at her body he could have easily overpowered her. Alas his ego and mating instincts combined and prevented him to think clearly.

Sesshoumaru was in terrible mood last few days. Even Inuyasha wasn't able to tear away his older brother from his moods. Inutaisho caught his older son cursing some wench few times. It was then he understood. Some female got under Sesshoumaru's skin and it was irritating him. It was fairly obvious that his heir was confused under his icy mask. Inutaisho decided to let Sesshoumaru to deal with his own problems.

'Maybe it will help him to soften his demeanour.' Demon lord wished wistfully. But he had his own problems to solve. Most important was his promise to other Taiyoukais pertaining capture of certain miko. He was eagerly anticipating their next battle. It was long time he had some challenge. It was somewhat sad that only worthy opponent he came across in last century was human priestess. However his son was proving to be powerful. 'Maybe in few decades he reaches at least two thirds of my current power.' Inutaisho sighed.

Demon Lord patrolled his borders when he came across familiar scent. It was indicating that its owner was currently fighting. Inutaisho followed his nose and he found himself behind beautiful miko. He was watching her moves sharply looking for some king of opening in her style. But her stance was perfect and motions of her hands were deadly graceful. Long braid was waving in the air when she turned sharply to block attack of her opponent.

The priestess held sword in her right hand and dagger in her left. Both weapons shined with energy she poured into them. She attacked one of lower-level demons. It disintegrated as soon as her sword touched him. Other demons attacked her more viciously to avenge their fallen comrade. Miko drew a circle with her sword on the ground. It flashed bright pink light.

Inutaisho couldn't smell the girl anymore. She was hidden inside strange barrier. The demons, who were fighting her, had to be stupid. They didn't smell scent of crisp purity in the air. All five remaining demons attacked simultaneously. The shield rattled under pressure but it held. She slashed her sword horizontally and shield flared. The demons disintegrated into ashes in mere seconds.

Kagome sighed in relief. A pack of nekos assaulted her earlier. They paid dearly for it. They tested her skills and she was forced to use Flame Shield. Suddenly she stiffened. Her battle frayed senses detected another threat. It carried very powerful aura. Kagome smirked. She turned around to lock her eyes with familiar amber ones.

''Came for the sword?'' she asked innocently. Inutaisho's eye twitched at obvious insult. He appeared in front of miko in flash. Insolent woman didn't back down.

''Tetsusaiga is mine.'' Inutaisho replied icily.

Kagome only laughed. She offered him the sword. ''Then take it.'' She encouraged him.

Inutaisho caught Tetsusaiga's hilt. He was shocked by jolt of power emanating from it. Startled he let sword fall on the ground and glared at miko. ''What did you do?'' He accused her.

Kagome's face lit up with sickly sweet mocking smile. ''Tetsusaiga bonded with me. It made up a seal which prevents full demons to use it.''

The dog demon scowled at her. Then he got an idea. He smirked evilly. He was going to enjoy it. ''The sword is my property. You bonded with it. It means you belong to me now.''

Kagome sneered. ''I belong to noone.'' Inwardly she almost melted by sheer possessiveness in demon's voice. 'I must be strong. I must be strong. I must be strong.' Kagome chanted inside her mind while she tried to squash the urge to throw at handsome demon. 'What is going on?' She wondered. Her eyes glazed over and her cheeks flushed. Her hands trembled under uncomfortable weight of her weapons.

Inutaisho smiled ferally when he noticed miko's reaction. 'She has instincts of dog demoness.' He summarised. The wonderful smell spike with desire. Demon Lord was smirking in victory. 'She submits to me in no time.' He gloated inwardly. He mocked her loudly. ''Desiring a demon?''

Horrified Kagome blushed deeply. She completely forgot he was dog demon. They were notorious for their excellent senses especially their nose. She glared heatedly at arrogant youkai and banished Tetsusaiga. She unsheathed the sword and dagger she fought with earlier. Her eyes flashed dangerously. She charged at Taiyoukai. Inutaisho dodged her clumsy attack.

Kagome took a deep breath. She calmed down considerably. Kagome knew she let her emotions to rule her and cloud her judgement. She cringed. Inutaisho could kill her any moment she was blinded by her rage. Kagome attacked again. This time she was coldly precise.

Inutaisho withdrew Tenseiga. He was surprised with quick change in miko's demeanour. 'She is truly a gem.' He thought when he defended himself from her purified weapons. Kagome narrowed her eyes. She noticed a small opening. She slashed his left arm earlier and he didn't protected his chest enough. She went after his weakness. She faked a slash on Inutaisho's left arm. He blocked her but he wasn't quick enough. Her dagger cut him deeply. The wound bite uncomfortably.

Inutaisho hissed. ''You are clever, little miko.''

''My name is Kagome. Use it.'' She spat. She glared at him hotly. She was satisfied when she noted a wound on demon's chest. ''Want another one?''

Inutaisho's eyes bled red. His blood was demanding either to punish her or make her submit to him. Kagome's blood boiled in response. Her scent intensified making Inutaisho crazy with need. He snarled ferally. His instincts were driving him to attack. He lunged at the unsuspecting wench in front of him.

Kagome dodged with great difficulties. She frowned slightly. 'Maybe I shouldn't provoke him.'

Inutaisho swiped his claws at young girl. He scratched her deeply on her left arm. Kagome cried out in pain. She flared her miko powers and a barrier sprang to life around her. She needed time to rethink her strategy. The Taiyoukai was reduced to his feral state. All reasonable thoughts left him as soon as his eyes turned red. Kagome watched how Inutaisho was circling around her trying to find an opening. He probed the barrier few times. It burned him. He sent poison attack in Kagome's direction. Young girl was torn. Either she let the poison to kill her slowly or drop the barrier and neutralise demon's poison. But that would give arrogant Taiyoukai an advantage.

Kagome sighed. It was lose-lose situation. She carefully hid her second dagger in right sleeve. She dispelled the shield and flared her powers. The poison in the air was cleared. Inutaisho kicked sword from priestess's hand. She threw dagger, she held in her left hand, at the demon. He barely dodged it. Inutaisho pounced on miko. She was pinned to ground under his weight. He held her throat in his grasp loosely. Kagome gulped. She freed her right hand and pressed second dagger at Inutaisho's neck. She commanded. ''Release me.''

Demon tightened his hold on her neck. Kagome gasped and poured miko energy into dagger in response. The feral demon snarled in threat at insolent female underneath him. She didn't want to submit to him. She had fighter spirit. She would give him strong pups. Inutaisho ran his claws down her neck opening small wound. Girl shuddered. The scent of her blood assaulted his nostrils. Inutaisho licked the injury.

Kagome was uncertain. She didn't know what was happening with her. She shuddered when Inutaisho's claws scratched her throat. She pressed the dagger deeper into his jugular drawing blood. Then the demon licked her wound. That gesture caused Kagome to moan. She was highly sensitive in that area. She dropped dagger in surprise. Demon lord started to suck her blood, licking the cut or plainly nuzzling her. The waves of pleasure clouded miko's mind. She didn't notice inuyoukai's eyes change back into their amber colour.

Inutaisho couldn't believe his luck. That female was very passionate and responsive to his advances. Only few right touches and she was reduced to pile of want. Her scent spiked with arousal. Inutaisho traced girl's jawline with his tongue. His male pride was boosted by soft mewling noises Kagome was emitting. He wasn't able to resist the temptation. She was subconsciously offering herself. Her parted lips, flushed cheeks and glazed eyes showed her pleasure.

Inuyoukai covered her lips with his own. She sighed and pressed into his body. Demon's eyes flashed red briefly and wave of possessiveness welled inside him. The girl was already his. He smirked inwardly. He sunk his claws into priestess's arms. He let some poison to flow into miko's blood stream. Kagome opened her eyes and stared at Inutaisho. She glared at him sleepily before her face contorted into hurt look. Taiyoukai's heart constricted. She blacked out. He took her into his arm, gathered her weapons and summoned his ki-cloud. They stepped on it. They Inutaisho headed for his castle with sweet burden in his arms.
