This is a True Drabble, meaning that it has exactly 100 words, no more, no less. I was iffy on the last word, having to choose between either Ryou or Hikari, but I find my choice more impactful. This is a good companion to "Drip," "I love the way you look at me," "Enji," and "I killed you."

Bloody Aishiteru

Drabble: 100 words

Hikari is sooo quiet. Always hiding pain. Always. Even as he coughs up blood, he doesn't speak up, afraid that They would take away his Yami. Hikari doubles over in pain, not-quite-healed gashes along his back and chest breaking slightly, giving way to oozing pus. He loves his Yami unconditionally, and takes pain just as easily as he loves his Yami. As he lays dying, coughing blood, his reflection smiles at him. No, not reflection. Hikari's disillusioned. His reflection would be writhing on the ground in pain, not casually leaning against the door frame, smirking, and saying: "Aishiteru, Ryou."
