"do you see it set?" 7 year old Haruka asked.

"yeah I see it" Setsuna answered puzzled.

"you don't think it's going to eat us do you?" Haruka shrank back into her blanket.

"nothing can get us as long as my momma's home" Setsuna replied confidently.

"yeah but what about Michi she's still out there" Haruka jumped out of bed pulling on her shoes", she grabbed her coat. "we can't just leave her there."

"yeah I know" Setsuna said as they crept down the stairs past Setsuna's mothers bedroom. "wait" she whispered grabbing Michiru's coat off the rack.

"help me you two" Michiru cried.

"you gotta jump Michi, the breast is gone" Setsuna said holding her arms out. "we'll catch you."

"no way, go get your mom" Michiru hung by her shirt in a huge snow covered Oak tree that sat in Setsuna's front yard.

"here" Haruka threw Michiru the coat.

"how am I suppose to put this on, I'm stuck hanging remember." Michiru sighed. "it starting to get really cold up here."

"stay with her Ruka I'll go get her some socks." Setsuna sprinted back toward the house.

"Awe come on Michiru the grounds not that far away just unhook yourself and jump down." Haruka exclaimed trying to get her girlfriend down.

"I tried that I just got stuck more." Michiru said.

"Haruka run the beast! " Setsuna yelled from the front porch of her house as a large German shepherd went racing toward Haruka.

Haruka screamed like a girl Before running toward the Swing set in Setsuna's back yard. Climbing on top of it the Dog caught her pants leg roughly trying to pull her down.

"Haruka" Michiru yelled twisting and turning trying to free herself from the grasp of the huge Oak. She unbuttoned the front of her shirt sliding out of it. 'thank god momma always makes me wear undershirts' Setsuna was the first one to Haruka trying to beat away the dog.

"go get my mom Michi" Haruka kicked the dog and it turned it's attention to Setsuna who gulped and took a few steps back.

"nice beast" She said holding her hands out in front of her. "nice beast.

The dog pounced her ripping and slashing threw her overly fluffy coat.

"Set" Haruka jumped down from the swing on top of the dog. Pulling it off of Setsuna as she bit it and rolled over.

"oh my god" Setsuna's mother ran out side with a broom beating the dog away as Setsuna lay there face down in the snow.

"set?" Michiru called.

Haruka ran over to Michiru and The fallen Setsuna. Who was currently mumbling something to Michiru suddenly she stood up a huge smile on her face.

"we face down the beast you guys!" She said jumping up and down. "we'll have bragging rights for ever"

"yeah" Michiru giggled.

"umm guys" Haruka said looking over at a very angry mother.

"Inside now!" Setsuna's mother hissed dangerously.

" uh oh" Michiru whispered. "now we have to face an even bigger beast."

"I can't believe you three would do something so stupid what would have happened if one of you got seriously hurt out there. Or what if you'd gotten locked out and froze to death outside. And Michiru Kaiou Where is your shirt." She Bellowed.

"outside stuck in the tree" Michiru said pointing out of the living room window where you could see and small peace of cloth hanging from the tree.

"and how did it get in the tree."

"Haruka said I wasn't brave enough to climb it and I did but on the way down my shirt got caught and I slipped so I was hanging from my shirt. And then the beast came and Haruka ran for the swing but it grabbed her pant leg. And tried to pull her down."

"that's when I ran to help her but he heard me talking to Michiru and turned to attack me" Setsuna said indicating to her shredded coat now hanging out of the garbage bin.

"tonight you three have down the stupidest thing I would have to say you've ever done in your short lives. What will your mothers say when they hear of this?" she asked tapping her foot impatiently.

"nothing" Setsuna said. "you wouldn't tattle would you?"

"no" her mother said smiling. "back to bed and no more adventures."

The three silently trudge up the stairs to Setsuna's room.

"we did it guys were gonna be hero's." Haruka jumped on Setsuna's bed.

"yeah we defeated two best in one night" Michiru said sitting on Haruka's lap.

"yeah okay" Setsuna said yawning. "no more adventures tonight" she turned off the lights as they all crawled under the blankets.
"hey?" Michiru whispered.

"what Michiru"

"the Carrot muncher is still out there" She giggled.

"Ugh" Haruka and Setsuna grunted in unison, turning away from her.
