Tsuzuki cries in his sleep sometimes. Hisoka knows that the older shinigami isn't aware of it, and it doesn't happen all that often. It's not like Tsuzuki doesn't sleep like the dead most of the time, sprawled out and taking up all the space, or he babbles randomly while he dreams - usually about sweets. But then there are those nights when Tsuzuki lays perfectly still in bed, and only the moonlight glitters on the twin trails over his cheeks.
And it is then that Hisoka wraps his arms around his partner - much in the same way Tsuzuki has held him in the past - and whispers in his ear: "It's alright. I'm here now."
And then Tsuzuki stops crying, and babbles about sweet things again.
