Chapter Ten: Story Time

After finishing their tour at the Living through Caribbean History Museum, Zizi and Lorelei waited for Juli and Taylor to change their clothes. Juli had the same clothes on as when Zizi and Lorelei met her. Taylor had a black t-shirt with white letters reading 'My Imaginary Friend Thinks You Have Serious Problems', khaki cargo pants and a pair of black sneakers on.

"Hey, Taylor. You look great," said Zizi.

"Thanks," said Taylor.

"Where shall we go?" asked Lorelei.

"Tay and I know the perfect place, don't we?" said Juli.

"We sure do, Jools," said Taylor.

000

Taylor and Juli took Zizi and Lorelei to a small restraint called Le Fleur de Caribbe. (The Flower of the Caribbean.) They got a back corner booth.

"While we're here, let's order lunch," said Taylor.

000

Zizi ordered a grilled ham and cheese sandwich, French fries, and an orange French soda. Lorelei had a baked potato, a small side salad, and grape juice. Taylor had a double bacon cheeseburger, a large order of fries, a small order of nachos, and a large cherry coke. Juli had a cold ham and cheese sandwich, a baked potato, and a vanilla ice cream soda.

While they were eating, Taylor told Zizi and Lorelei about his 13x Great-Grandfather Turner and Captain Jack Sparrow, the pirate.

"Jack was in my 13x great-grandfather's smithy when they first met. Actually, it wasn't even Turner's shop. It belonged to some drunk named Mr. Brown. My 13x great-grandfather was the apprentice to Mr. Brown, and he did all the work while Brown got the credit. Jack had run inside while Turner was trying to woo the governor's daughter, Elizabeth Swann. Mr. Brown was in a drunken sleep, and Jack was running from the navy soldiers, particularly from Jools's 13x Great-Grandfather, Norrington," Taylor began.

000

Taylor told other stories about his 13x great-grandparents and Jack. He told all the ones that he knew.

"Those were very good, Taylor," said Zizi, "thanks for sharing them with me."

"She's trying to gather all the information she can on Mr. Sparrow," added Lorelei.

"My 14x Great-Grandfather Turner was a pirate and a friend of Sparrow's. He had a journal I think you'd like to see," said Taylor.

"Cool," said Zizi.

Lorelei gave Taylor her address, so he could drop it off at her house when he found it.
