Hermione Granger sat on the chair in front of the fireplace with a stack of books and notes in front of her. She had exams the next day, and hadn't had time to study for her Arithmancy exam because of her prefect duties. She yawned and placed one paper on the table and picked up a book, which she flipped through. She had lines under her eyes, and she was tired, but she kept reminding herself that she had to study. She sat up straighter and lit her wand.

"Lumos," she murmured. She didn't hear the door open. she was not aware of anything except her books and how tired she was.

"Hermione?" she heard a voice say. She jerked up, knocking over the pile of books on the table. The figure walked over and picked up some of the books. "Hermione, you should get some sleep, or you'll fall asleep during the exam," Ron Weasley said, sitting down.

"But-"

"Hermione, please. Leave it. You need to get some sleep. You haven't been very well lately. You lack sleep. I don't want you-" he stopped, and started again, "Harry and I don't want you to get sick"

Hermione sighed, knowing he was right. "What time is it?"

"Almost three."

"It is! I don't have much time to-" she was stopped by Ron's hand on hers.

"Come on. You need to sleep. I'll clean this up." He waved at the mess of books. He realized he still had her hand and let go, turning red.

"Thanks," Hermione whispered. She leaned up and gently kissed his cheek. She stood up and walked up the staircase. Ron touched his cheek, a smile playing on his lips.

"Someday," they both thought at the same time. "Someday I'll tell you."
