GALIDOR!

Nick was sitting at home. It was several months after the end of his adventures in Galidor. He had saved his father and mother, and they lived safely together in Canada. It was a sunny summer day, and he hadn’t a care in the world. But then he started to think about all his old friends. Coincedence? As he was sitting there thinking, there came a knocking at the door. Before he could get up to answer it, a blue haze flew into the room and began circling him. It stopped abruptly and there was a triangular begoggled face before him.

‘Nick! Nick!’ Nepol shouted at him, ‘There’s trouble afoot! Abrewin’!’

‘What? Slow down there, Nepol. What’s wrong?’

‘Aaahhhhh!’ The blue creature began running around the room again. ‘Niiiiiiick!’

‘Calm down, you retarded hairball! You know you can’t talk properly when you’re at Supah Speed.’

Nepol came to a stop once again. ‘I’m sorry. It’s just that I’m so worried about the rest of the gang. Aaaaaah-‘

Nick grabbed him before he could start running again. ‘Tell me what’s wrong. Is Gorm back?’

Nepol looked Nick square in the eye. ‘No, Nick Bluetooth.’ He began licking Nick’s face.

Nick could barely believe what Nepol had told him. He spent the following days thinking long and hard about all of the friends he had left behind. ‘Drunks?’ he said to himself. ‘All of them? How could this happen?’

Nepol crawled out from underneath Nick’s sheets. ‘Nick, I know it’s hard to believe. MMM!’

If it hadn’t been for Nepol’s video evidence, Nick might not have believed what Nepol had told him — he didn’t want to believe. He reviewed the tapes again and again. The worst part was when Allegra kept sitting on Euripides’ lap. They were all drinking through-out, and yelling random obscenities, especially Jens.

Nick Bluetooth wept for the loss of his friends’ morals. Nepol rubbed his back, he himself had already cried enough tears. When Nick regained his composure he stood and hoisted Nepol up onto his shoulder.

‘It’s just you and me, Nepol! We’re the only ones who can save them.’ Nick pointed into the distance. ‘Our friends will soon learn the true strengths of friendship!’

‘Yeah,’ shouted Nepol, and he hugged Nick around the neck and kissed his cheek.

Allegra woke up in a daze. She was on the floor of their spaceship, lying beside Jens, who would have choked on his own vomit were it not that he had luckily fallen to his side.

She stretched and accidentally knocked over a half-empty bottle of lager. ‘Woops,’ she said. Before she could pick it back up, a large, boorish and green hand had placed it upright and slapped Allegra across the face. Euripides stood over her, grimacing.

‘I told you, always finish your beer,’ he said. ‘Is this a done beer?’ He pointed at it, again and again.

‘Nick…. where are you?’ Allegra cried. ‘He’d let me drink however much I want.’

Euripides clutched her arm in a tight and painful embrace. ‘Nick is a slut.’

‘Not half the slut you are,’ she retorted.

‘Ain’t nobody as slutty as you!’ Euripides threw her back down against the floor. She began to sob and Euripides began to break down. ‘Oh God,’ he moaned. ‘What’s become of us? How did this happen?’

‘I’m in the very bowels of Hell!’ Allegra shook violently and desperately clutched at her window. Her black unseeing but oh so emotive eyes fixed on the hedge that had been cut to resemble Nick’s face. ‘Where is our savior? Why have we been forsaken?’

Euripides grabbed her again. ‘You’ve got to pull yourself together! We’re all alone now. We should never have trusted in Nicholas Bluetooth. We don’t need him!’

‘But Euripides! I... I love him!’

He slapped her. ‘There’s only one man for you, baby, and that’s me! And sometimes Jens when I say so.’

Jens had woken enough to swing his arm around and say, ‘Woo hoo!’

Just as they all began breaking apart another six-pack the door flew open. Nick stood in the doorway and Nepol began running along the perimeter of the room.

‘Niiiiiiick, weeeeee fooooouuuund theeeeeeeeem!’ Nepol cried, glad to see his friends had not died of alcohol poisoning yet.

‘Oh man, the buzz harshers are here,’ said Jens.

‘That’s right,’ said Nick. ‘We’re here to show you the wrongs of your ways.’

‘Thaaaaaaaaaaat’s riiiiiiiiiiiiight!’ echoed Nepol.

‘Nick, I love you!’ said Allegra.

They embraced and Allegra was cured.

‘Nepol, go to Euripides,’ said Nick, ‘and help him see what is best.’

Nepol took Euripides into his furry arms and Euripides was cured.

Jens shook a fist in the air and said, ‘Woo hoo!’
