Forgive me, I let you die
Forgive me, I wasn’t able to cry.
Forgive me, for I cannot deny
That I still love you
And that I cannot lie.

Forgive me, I still let you live
And I still drown in your memory.
Forgive me, for I still think about you and me
And what could have been.

Forgive me, for I am still longing for your smile.
Forgive me, so that I can forgive myself.
Teach me that life is all about letting go,
But I still won’t follow instructions.

Forgive me, I am still alone
Because I still think that someday we’ll meet again
Just like what you’ve said.
And please forgive me for my greatest sin:
I believed what you said
And I still do…
