Kuwabara stood at the doorway looking at Hiei walk towards his Yukina. He snuck up behind a couch listening to what they were going to talk about. Thankfully, Hiei didn't notice him. Something tugged in his mind telling him something was wrong, but ignored it for his curiosity.

"Yukina," Hiei started, "I have something to tell you."

Kuwabara held his breath. What did the shrimp want? Bothering his Yukina with his problems. ...blackmail material it was though...

"Yes?" she asked timidly as usual. It was music to his ears.

"Ummmmm," Hiei started, uncharacteristically, "I-I-I'm your b-brother." He stammered out.

Yukina's eyes bulged out with exceitment. With an earsplitting scream, of "ONIISAN", she hugged Hiei like her life depended on it.

"NNNOOOOOO!" screamed Kuwabara, "Not Hiei! Anyone but him! With Hiei being Yukina's brother, I can't go near her ever again!"

The next thing he knew, Hiei was up right beside him with a smirk on his face.

Kuwabara shrunk back.

Hiei turned to his sister. "Why don't you let your brother remove this pest?"

To Kuwabara's surprise, Yukina nodded with a smile.

"Why of course, dearest brother, I know just how much you despise of him! Anything brother says, goes! If you hate him, I hate him!"

Hiei nodded in approval. "Indeed, my dear sister."

Kuwabara was already out the temple doors when he felt his skin heat up. Hotter and hotter!

He looked up. Standing before him was the newly found siblings. They both held an evil smirk on their faces.

"Why do you run?" Yukina asked before leaning forward, "You haven't got your punishment," she whispered in his ear.

Kuwabara squeezed his eyes shut.

"No! No, this couldn't be real! No! Never!-"

"-No! I couldn't!" With that thought, he suddenly shot up from his bed, swimming in his own pool of sweat. Despite the stickiness of the sweat, he manage to fall back to sleep again within the minute, Muttering "It was just a dream" unintelligently over and over again.

The next day, Kuwabara stood at the doorway of Genkai's temple shuttering about last night's nightmare. He was so thankful it was a dream and nothing more.

As he stepped inside, he spotted Hiei walking towards Yukina! He was about to dive behind a couch to listen in on them, when thoughts of his dream resurfaced in his mind.

He froze. He inched slowly for the couch. He took a deep breath.

After all, it was just a dream after all! ...wasn't it?

Kuwabara watched as Hiei walked towards Yukina.

He held his breath.

"Yukina," Hiei started, "I have something to tell you..."

Kuwabara fell. He had heard enough.

"AAAAHHHHHHH!" he screamed as he ran out the door and down the steps, breaking a new record. Look how fast he could run!

Hiei and Yukina looked over as he ran off.

"Baka" Hiei muttered while Yukina looked worried.

Ignoring the idiot for the while, Hiei turned back to Yukina.

He took a breath.

"I'm sorry, Yukina. I have still not yet been able to locate your brother."

Yukina gave a smile to cover her true emotion.

"It's alright. I'm sure he'll show up one day."

Hiei gave a nod and disappeared off into the forest. As he neared the heart, he looked towards the sky thoughtfully.

"I wonder if that Idiot got the message to leave Yukina alone? Hopefully, it'll scar him for life. The less I see of him, the better." Hiei thought, as his Jagan glowed brightly underneath his bandana.

It wasn't his fault he was protective of his sister, was it?

Well, I have nothing to say other than Poor Kuwabara.
